From the moment I stepped into Bill's Auto Repair, I knew I was in good hands. I dont really leave reviews and usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes people have to know what goes on. I had brought my 2017 Ram 1500 in for a concern with a screeching noise coming from the vehicle and just a side not I had my entire brake pads, rotors and cv axles done a week before this. Upon allowing them to look at my truck they had said my rotors were warped and i needed to do another brake job and they sent me pictures of my rotors that were "damaged" and come to find out they werent even my rotors!!! He tried to get money anyway he could. After telling him I was going to take my vehicle elsewhere I had found out that there was a rock that had gotten stuck between the pad and rotor and no additional repairs needed to be done. Do not come here unless you're prepared to ask questions and understand what has been done to your vehicle in depth. Here is the picture of my "Rotors" that weren't actually mine

The staff at this location do not communicate well. I dropped my car off two weeks ago for them to review the check engine light. They said "We will look at it tomorrow." After 5 days, I had not received an update, so I called. They said they were still working on it. I called back today—2 weeks since I dropped the car off—because I had not heard anything and they said "there has been no change, we are still trying to figure it out." I tried to explain that that is fine and thanked them for looking at it, but I expect them to call me with updates instead of me calling them. It seems reasonable to me for a mechanic to call a customer with a vehicle update every 1-2 days, even if there is no change. This is not the first time communication has been extremely slow or non-existent when I have dropped a car off at Bill's. Please be proactive with your customers! I'm not taking my cars here anymore because of this.

I was traveling by myself with my two younger children (8 and 3 years old) from Bellevue, NE, to spend the holidays with my sister who lives in Harlingen, TX. We had been driving 10 hours when my car broke down in Ft. Worth. It was December 22nd and getting later in the afternoon. I had already called a couple shops who didn’t think they could fix my car before closing for the holiday weekend. I called Bill’s Half Price and spoke with Frank. After explaining my situation, even not knowing what was exactly wrong, he still gave me a number for a tow truck and went over and beyond to get any parts he thought may have been needed to fix my car that same day, which the awesome guys at the shop were able to do. I can not express in words all the gratitude I feel for you guys! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The shop does not do what they say they do pour quality they do not use good parts. I had AC work done and asked for an ACDelco compressor they put on a cheap Chinese compressor completely ignoring me and has failed twice now also along with replacing the inner tie rod but not the outer tie rod the way they put the clamps back on my hoses would have rubbed my hose and caused a hole in a line completely shoddy work all the way around and I spent a thousand over my budget my budget was $4,000 they went way above that up into the five thousand mark. When I first picked up my truck and they forgot to put freon in the AC system I had them service. I now have a new shop that is redoing all of their mistakes and now paying double for it. I cannot stress enough how much to please AVOID the shop.

I've been here before and received good service. Not this time. I overfilled my A/C and told my wife to take it in and get it vacuumed and refilled. I told her do not use the A/C or you will kill the compressor. She listens and tells them what I told her. She has to be at work so they drive her there in the car and turns the air on to diagnose the problem. What should have been done is hook it up and see what pressure was on the low and high side before driving it. Needless to say they drive it and damage the compressor and now want us to pay $1300 to have it fixed. No thanks! I'll fix my own car that you broke for a less than $500. So please take your car somewhere else for A/C work.

Took my car in for a window that came of the track and a broken motor bracket. $1200.00++ later including oil and filter that were just changed less that a month ago. Now it have other problems I never had before. Remote will no longer lock and unlock, also now have 2 lights not working and engine noice and vibration when I take off. Now to try to find a trustworthy auto repair place. I will never go back there. It has changed from when I first went there a few years ago. There is nothing half price there. Watch for the up sale, bate and switch......

Brought in my jeep cherokee for a full post buy inspection told me i had a leaking trans cooler line asked to check entire suspension along with brakes paid $400 and got the vehicle back drove funny parking brake still didnt work took to another shop showed me that all bushings were bad in the suspension leaking steering damper along with oil leaks have sent multiple emails with no response refuse to do buisness with them ever again had plesant experiences before but this time was a joke not to mention they kept it for 2 days

I’ve been traveling the country in an old van. First time we went to Bill's we were just passing through Fort Worth and looked up auto shops in the area. We got lucky when we decided to go to them. They put in new u-joints and charged us such a reasonable price. These guys are honest, good people. So much so that 8 months later when we passed through again, we stopped to have them check out an issue with our ball joints. They run a great, honest business and made what usually is a stressful experience, a refreshing one!

These folks are top notch! I have been taking all of my cars there for many years, and have always had great experiences. They have been fair and honest at every turn. I have brought vehicles in with repairs that I thought needed to be done, and have on more than one occasion said I didn't need those repairs. It would have been easy for them to just take my money and do the repair I thought I needed. They have worked on my modern BMWs, classic cars, and ever in between. I would not go anywhere else. Customer for life!

These guys go out of their way! Took my Diesel Excursion in because of a ruptured AC line. They quoted me $633 for the repair, which was very fair. The day they worked on it, they found that the part is not orderable since the truck was 14 years old and had a special adapter for the model. they found a shop that could custom weld the part and fix it and it was ready the next day. They explained everything in great detail and kept me up to date. The best part? TOTAL REPAIR BILL $388.00 Will use them again and again.

I brought my car in to have it examined after being in a minor traffic incident. They told me the only issue with my car was a bent rim, and that they did not do wheels and tires at their shop. They were very friendly on the phone and made a recommendation for where the closest place would be to get the work done I needed. Overall, they did not charge me anything for looking at my vehicle. They have gained my trust as an auto shop, and I will definitely bring my car to Bill's in the future.

Took it in for a overheating issue, which is 1 of 3 things according to the code. They spent a week trying to clean the heater coil, that ain't guaranteed to work. $130 extra added to the bill, for what? With the economy the way it is and people struggling... People still our willing to take advantage of people and a situation. SMDH! ,,, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay" said the Lord! PS, they still didn't have the main issue fixed first, which was a cracked radiator tube and thermostat!

I've used Bill‘s Half Price Auto Repair going on 9 years now. They've always given me great service at at fair price. On more than one occasion I've gotten a price for a repair from another place and Bill's has always beaten it. I've had only one experience where a repair did not go right (the part went bad) but they took care of it immediately for free since it was under warranty. I have recommended Bill's to all my friends that ask me about where to take their car in for service.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I took my truck in for a routine tune up and when I picked my truck up the motor no longer had a cover. I called and they proceeded to say the motor didn't have one when it was brought in. That's completely false and a bold face fabrication of the truth. I asked to escalate to the owner and was hung up on by the person on the phone. If I could give this company a negative 5 rating I would because that's what they deserve. Pathetic!!!

I brought my SUV to these people for a squealing sound coming from one of the wheels. I should have known they were screwing me over when on the phone the guy said "we are going to have to fix the part for $800, but it may not fix the noise". They did not know what was wrong with it obviously. Turns out all I needed to do was get matching tires all around. Learned a valuable lesson that day. Do not trust these people.

We have taken both cars here. One older car for extensive work and the newer vehicle for a door handle replacement. My father also takes his vehicles here and he is very particular about repair shops. It’s first come first served so I recommend getting there early and following up with a phone call never hurts. No one cares as much about your schedule as you! They’ve always been timely and respectful. Great place!

I was worried my truck had a problem with a collapsed AFM lifter. Took it to Bill's and after a speedy diagnosis they were able to determine it was a much less severe problem than we thought, and had my truck ready to go within a couple days. I appreciated their clear communication and no non-sense attitudes. I will be trusting Bill's with our vehicles from now on!

The price to fix my a.c. went from $600 to $800 overnight, for the same service quoted. They lost one of my caps and only put one bolt back in to my skid plate, it was dragging on the road, I had to pull over and remove the one bolt and throw the plate in my truck. Now a year and a half later, my a.c. is froze up and of course it's out of warranty.

I'm thrilled with everything about this place!! Having been a service advisor for Ford for many year's my experience was fantastic!! I was treated wonderfully from the get go!!! The team at Bills is great they listen and give you input on your issue, they treat you like a customer. They were able to find an oil leak on my SUV that 2 dealers, couldn’t? And they don’t nickel and dime you for everything, save yourself the time shopping around go to Biils in Fort Worth you and your car will be glad you did.

I’ve been to many mechanics like most of us have and my experience here was excellent. They were friendly, they got to my truck quickly and fixed the issue. The price was reasonable and they did what they said they would do. What more can you ask for? I finally found a local shop to take my vehicles.

I made the mistake of taking my car to the dealership first. Just for an engine thermostat replacement, they quoted me $1,100. Thanks to a recommendation I gave Bills a call. They do quality work in an acceptable amount of time. And Bills charged less than half of what the dealership quoted me.

Literally half the price that one of the big chain shops quoted me for brakes. Then SAVED me a few hundred dollars MORE when they got in there because they really know what they are doing! I am proud to support a local business, and I won't be taking my car anywhere else from now on!

I called in for body work but got preferred to take my car to Steve's Automotive refinish they finished my job real quick and it came out beautiful they got the dent out and did my tint. Thank you Jeff for the referral i will be back to Bill's Half Price to have have my oil change.

My oil dipstick broke and I couldn’t get it out. I called Dodge and they wanted to charge me $350. I took it to Bill’s and they got it out for me and refused to charge me. This is my first experience with them and I can say that they will have my business going forward.

Took two days to diagnose my car, charged more than double what the part costs online and $170 for 1 hour of labor.. I went to pch auto afterwards and they quoted me at half the price that bills "HALF PRICE AUTO" did. I'll never go to them again. Live and learn.

I have been here twice now for 2 different vehicles for a state inspection. I recently moved the area. Local family referenced me to them. New vehicle and Old vehicle. They are very friendly and got me in same day. The inspection process was quick and painless.

I've taken my 2008 Lexus IS350 in for service 3 times now and every time they completed the job on time or faster than estimated. In addition, their prices were 50% or more, in some cases, less than competitors. Fast reliance and honest, can't beat that!

Oh gosh. I go to Bill's all the time with my vehicles. I trust them. They charge reasonable rates and they don't pile on things you don't need or want. This is my "GO TO" mechanic for my cars!!! Much more reasonable rates then at dealerships too.
