Recently had my 2014 f-150 in the shop to fix the belly pan because on a rattling sound . I was told the belly pan was fixed and that the mechanic had taken my truck for a test drive and there was no more rattling from under the truck. I was driving home and instantly heard the rattling sound still so I looked under my truck only to find that the mechanic had taken my bolts out of the belly pan and replaced them with zip ties.... I was charged 80$ for 4 zip ties ..... and a belly pan that is still not fixed . I’ve been here multiple times only to be let down time after time . It’s finally taking this time for me to be feed up with them and write a comment , if you get any work done here I strongly recommend getting a second opinion or having a good look your self with what was actually done .

I took my 2018 f150 in for an oil change booked the appointment first thing in the morning. When i dropped it off I asked them to give me a call when i was done as i was going for a walk down the road. I also told them that the chrome trim on the bottom of my truck was rusting it with it only having 25k. Their immediate solution was to replace all the trim pieces for 450 for the trim pieces and another 250 for installation. When i took it to the dealership i got it from they told me it wasn't rust and just road tar that looked like rust and washed it off. I was looking for a ford dealership to take it to for my service but after the first experience of them trying to charge $700 for something that could have been washed off if they actually looked at it will not return again!

I initially had a bad experience here with my f-150, involving a block heater cord that was replaced as part of the recall, as well as diagnosing an issue with my starter. I was charged a diag charge for the starter issue, despite the technician being unable to replicate the issue, and no issue was found with the block heater cord either. Upon seeing my bad review, and my bad survey results, Birchwood ford reached out to me. The service manager, Jim Dolphin, and I went over what went wrong and based on our conversation, he admitted that they made a mistake, and he offered me a full refund. Four stars, because they obviously care about their customers, and their reputation for excellent customer service, but minus one for the initial bad experience.

Had brought my truck in to check out an issue with the power running boards. Pretty quick with getting me in and out. Service team was great. I give them 5stars but the power running boards that they sell aftermarket from amp research are a waste of money if you use your truck in the winter. They don't work in the cold. No fix for it either. They should either tell you that at time of sale or stop selling it. When it's warm there great dont get me wrong but this is Winnipeg not somewhere warm all year. Incase anyone is wondering about the factory ones I can't say forsure if they have the same issues because I have never owned them. I only went aftermarket because the 2019 xlt didn't have factory power running boards as an option.

Over the last 5-6 years i bought 4 work vans from them, The first one had "Rail rust" right from when we bought it, brought it to them multiple times to fix and it never got fixed, They would call us to pick the vehicle up and literally in the parking lot when we would go to pick it up, we would find rust spots, so they would "fix" it again. same thing happened over and over. Then after a year i basically got told to pound sand since it was no longer covered under warranty, and now 5 years later, the whole van is rusting everywhere. This is equally a testament to how Ford treats their customers as much as Birchwood. Once the sale is done, you are practically on your own if you have a not so common issue.

My friend went to get his car fixed there. The problem was the car wasn’t starting and they had it for a week. And when he dropped the car off and phoned later to see if they checked it out. They said they couldn’t find it. And then they finally did, they did diagnostic test and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. So they thought it might be the key so they ordered another one. And guess what it didn’t solve the problem. He was charge $500.00 for something that wasn’t fixed! In my opinion they shouldn’t have charged him anything and gave his old key back plus he didn’t sign paperwork to get authorized work done. The customer service was wrong from the beginning and he’s out $500. What a shame!

Would have been a 5. My service rep was a 5 star. The paper mat was left in my truck. Not a big deal at all. The inside of my cab smells like an oily rag or something when I got in it. Just went for an oil change an tire rotation after a gold wash at the chamois. When I got home in my heated parkade, went to get my things and noticed there was grease or something smeared on the rear passenger door. I wiped it off or attempted to with my glove . Never had a problem at my dealership before other than this time. Would not call it a big issue, but the truck did smell like fresh vanilla until my service lol. Now its oil fragrance

I give 4 stars only for a couple reasons, but first the staff are great ,management good, overall is great , the 4 stars because it took from October April before it was fixed, not Ford's fault autopac delays, 2 Nd ,the new doors they put on sounds like hollow tin when I shut it! Compared to before and the driver side ,cheap after market doors!! Not ford quality parts ! And 3rd when it was done it was suppose to get detailed it was half assdone seats were still stained ; stuff between seats,. I know ford is top qualify but not that day

By far the best service department I had been to. Had to install a new air conditioning Compressor checked around for the price and labour with other dealership and small mechanic shop no one gave me a better deal than Birchwood. The service was done within 2 days. Gerri the service consultant did a excellent job on finding the a new part and communicating regarding the service. Great job the whole Birchwood service team. Thank you.

Don't ever deal with a Ford Service Centre for your used vehicle repairs. Unprofessional is a word that comes to mind. They managed to find $3,000 worth of "recommended" repairs that all conveniently were not covered under the "extended warranty" they sold us less than a year ago. Going to my own mechanic to see if they were truthful in their assessment. Was it because it was a woman they were dealing with? I hope not.....

Traveling home to Ontario our truck needed immediate repair just before the Thanksgiving weekend. The customer service was above and beyond. A special thank you to Kylee and Anna in the Service Department for their professional excellence and caring attitude. And to our mechanic Benny...you rock! The entire team at Birchwood made our difficult situation so much easier. Thank you!

Purchased an used vehicle from them in August 1st. Wrong size tires were out on when they had the vehicle ready to resale. Notify the dealership within a week. They finally put the right size ones on today. No alignment was done. Very disappointed with the slowness in correcting their mistake. A very poor reflection on Birchwood group, a supposingly reputable dealership.
