I recently had the pleasure of ordering the food from Biryani Handi to cater for 70 people, and I am beyond impressed with the entire experience. I got to know about Biryani Handi from one of my friends and went ahead with ordering the food for our event. I felt very confident and less stressed after discussing with Kiran about our event and required items for catering. The menu features a delightful variety of items like Chicken Pakoda, Chicken Dum Biryani, Mutton Curry, Noodles, Bhendi Fry, Sambar and Gajar ka Halwa (with Kova). The culinary expertise displayed by the chefs was evident in every bite. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the portions were generous. All the guests who attended our event enjoyed the food and what more can we ask for. Kudos to Kiran and team for helping us to organise such a delicious food to our guests. We happened to discover Biryani Handi by chance. We went there open minded and was pleasantly surprised the by their food and service. We only wanted to have chicken biryan's but when enquired, we were told that Chicken Pakodi and Mirchi Bhajji are the must try items there. We ended up ordering chicken biryani, Chicken pakodi and Mirchi bhajji. I must tell you, Biryani was yummy. Chicken pakodi was next level. Stuffed mirchi bhajji was a delight. We ended up ordering one more chicken pakodi instantly :) Will try the other dishes soon in the coming weeks. Never imagined such delicious food to be served in a food van. Place is well managed and well maintained. Best part is that this place have spacious hall next to the food vans with beautiful seating and heating arrangements is an added advantage especially for a family with kids in the cold evenings. Will recommend everyone to go and try their Menu. You won't be disappointed.

I discovered the Biryani Handi food truck several months ago and my whole family has become fans of their biryani. We regularly order the chicken biryani and paneer biryani. The taste is delicious with so many wonderful spices, well priced and the staff are very friendly. We love their biryanis for their fresh taste and great use of spices, so much so that we are now ordering the family takeaway packs for our weekend meals (please contact them a day in advance if you wish to order the family packs so you will get freshly prepared for you). The entire experience with Kiran, right from the first inquiry phone call to delivery of food was very pleasant. The food was freshly prepared and tasted authentic and very delicious. Amazing customer service by Kiran. I asked Kiran if I could pick up food on my way home at 11 pm, to which he suggested that he is happy to drop it off at my workplace on his way home. Efficiently processed the transaction and at approximately 10:30 pm he gave the food to me at my workplace. Such a warm response. Being a Biryani lover, you guys have a good quality in your food. If you can provide the gravy with the biryani and increase the masala thickness in the biryani it would have a good spin to the taste. Just a positive criticism. Ordered food for my daughter’s birthday The food was excellent and authentic. The tasty and juicy royal chicken masala was as the highlight of our menu . Sometimes it’s hard to balance the flavours and keep the meat soft especially when it’s a fry, the Chicken pakora we had was top notch being crunchy and juicy at the same time. Carrot halwa with kova was another signature dish and was loved by our guests. We had approx 110 guests for my daughter’s birthday and the quality and quantity of the dishes is amazing. Everyone at the table liked the food. Thank you Kiran garu for such an awesome and wonderful food , and making our memories even more memorable.

We ordered Handi Special Biryani and Chicken Pakora for the very first time.. Best ever! The biryani was perfect and tasted amazing! Never tasted a biryani like this in Melbourne. I bet, no restaurant can match up to the taste, texture and the excellent quality. This will be our regular spot now for sure. Look forward to tasting masala chai sometime soon. we happened to discover Biryani Handi by chance and we were surprised with the taste of it. It's an authentic Hyderabadi Biriyani. After savouring the of Biriyani, me and my friends went again the next day to try out other dishes like Idli, Chicken Pakoda, Masala Dosa and Veg Biriyani, each and every dish here is very tasty. It won't be an exaggeration if we call it the best biriyani (both Chicken and Veg). The place has nice ambience with live music on weekends and lot of seating available both outdoors and indoors as well. Plan your visit soon.

Really good food. 1. Had chicken handi biryani - the most closest to Indian biryani I had in Melbourne till date. 5/5. (They have a chicken dum biryani too which is less spicy, could be tried too). 2. Had paneer biryani, good, Lil too spicy that's all, still good and fresh. 3. Spicy onion dosa, again good to taste, nice coconut chutney and sambar. Qty of sambar less, it was tasty I wanted more. Haha 4. Mango dessert and Masada Chai (tea) was excellent. You named the place after biryani and when I walked in, it is a disappointment that it is only on pre order through mobile booking. I could not even get chance to taste your biryani. My kid was so hungry and she asked for biryani and We had to turn around as I didn’t pre booked biryani through. Boss, please update that biryani is only on pre booking somewhere, so that people take their own decision based on this rather than being disappointed after driving to you place.

Great family owned place serving authentic hyderabad dishes. I totally recommend the prawns delight and chicken pakora. You get to sample many different items. This has become my go-to when I want indian food. The food is delicious, the people are super friendly, and i love that they have different types of biriyani. Awesome food. Great environment too. Excellent food! We had catering from Biryani Handi on our daughter's birthday party and It was really good. From appetizers to dessert everything was really great. The guests really loved the food.Paneer Biryani and Mango dessert are a must try! Definitely ordering from them again.
