Great neighborhood library. The librarians are always helpful and polite. It is a small library but still has a good selection of books. If they don't have what you want you can put a hold on any books in the Calgary Library system and have it delivered to the Bowness Library. Holds usually take 2 to 3 days unless the book you want is checked out. It also has internet connected desktop computers, and Chromebook laptops which adults with picture IDs can borrow for use inside the library. Additionally they have a photocopy which you can use for free with a library card up to $5 worth of copies per month. They have a nice area upstairs for reading, playing board games, playing chess on a giant set or using the Chromebooks. My 10 year old loves visiting this library. One interesting thing about this library is it use to be the location of Bow Cycle. That is why their is a neon bicycle wheel on the top of the library.

This is a very pleasant little library with a small-town feel. You can get some quiet study time in, do some reading, surf the net... or just drop off or pick up your books. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The building is quirky and interesting - small and cozy with a decent amount of space for kids and families.

This library is awesome! The staff are very helpful. It's small but you have the entirety of the Calgary library system at your disposal! They will bring books in from other branches. Visit your local library!

Beautiful library. Its very small however, it is very nice. Lots of childrens books and a wide variety of adult books as well. The computers are also very nice as there is quite a few of them. I will be back

Love this little library. Has a small town feel. Great for kids as it is full of interesting toys and is carpeted (better cushion for crawlers). Definitely going to be a regular destination for us!

I work as a nanny and am in here regularly with the kids I work for. It's such a wonderful resource for our community, and the kids love it. The librarians are very friendly and helpful.

Although it's a small branch, you can get what you need, including Printers, Computers, Hold books shelf, Student Study Room, Cosy reading area and a tiny area for children to play.

LOVE this library. A nice quiet spot to check out books and DVDs, staff are helpful, and I really appreciate the books they set out as suggestions. Love it here.

A bit of a smaller library, but enough to make it work. Has computers, kids section. And upstairs there is a study section with a large chess set.

Low speed internet Restrictions ( couldn't download one file) And no toner in the printer I spent my time for nothing Awful service

It's a smallish library but it has everything you need. There are computer spaces, quiet study areas and children's area.

If you have kids they have a really good area for kids to hang out with books and toys and they even have little tablets

Nice library, plenty of places to sit either by windows in front, or upstairs where many cubicles are available.

The Bowness library is great, such community and the staff is doing a great job with covid safety protocols.
