Apparently new owners and has unfortunately gone WAY down hill! Attended a function. Entree ‘bruschetta’ was 90% onion and not nice at all, weird fried cauliflower likewise. No plates provided for entree, had to ask for some and server just bought them out and dumped them in a pile on table. Bought out two meals and 40 mins later rest of the table still hadn’t received any. Eventually bought out rest of table’s meals which were all the same not alternate as advertised. Asked for the alternative to be bought out which after another 45 mins still hadn’t happened. Two people on our table didn’t receive a main meal as they apparently forgot to bring it. Asked what was happening and they finally offered to defrost some chicken but by that time function was over. Those who did receive a meal reported the fish as jelly like and undercooked and the chicken was dry. Kids meals very small and bland. Kids ice cream icy and topping tasted strange so kids wouldn’t eat it. Asked for refund for the meals not received and management was very indifferent and suggested we chase it up with the event organiser who had already paid the restaurant in full. Organiser of event should not have to chase up this refund for restaurant’s inadequate service. It should have been given on the spot along with an apology, neither of which were offered. Do not recommend anyone booking an event here, not sure if these people have never run a restaurant before or what is going wrong there but it is certainly not good! Have attended many events here in the past and always used to be great, not any more! *Update: received call from manager this afternoon who was lovely and apologetic, saying they will try and do better with their training. Doesn’t alter the experience but I have upgraded the service rating to 2 star as at least she seemed to know how things should have been and has agreed to process refund.

Nice rustic venue with a nice atmosphere great duo entertaining people but unfortunately the food was ordinary... my so called Japanese Chicken pieces where stringy and dry that even my dog could chew . They were over cooked and I nearly broke a tooth on biting into them. They had no flavour at all and I could of cooked better myself. My girlfriend ordered grilled fish and she got fried. The meal was taken away after pointing out it was wrong then a salad came in a bowl so she could start eating while they cooked her correct meal. They then shoved a plate in front of her that was not presented like the first and just walked away.. I would return to bridges for a drink but I will be eating before I go .. if they get a new chef I might think about eating ..

The food was really great, the live music and entertainers who were at Bridges Restaurant on the 9th June were just awesome, plus they gave the audience lots of laughs. The only Downsides were that our waitresses were slow in clearing the finished dishes from the tables, plus there wasn't even 1 outdoor gas heater on for those who wanted to go outside to the verandahs. It was a freezing night. When asking the staff if they would mind lighting one of them for us, we were told that they didn't have any gas left. I am sure with the numbers of outdoor heaters they have there, surely at least 1 should be working!!!!!!. Other than those 2 issues, we had a great night and am happy to recommend Bridges Restaurant for a lovely night out and for their yummy food.

We came 3 months ago and had great service/ food. Today we waited 1 1/2 hours for a toasted jaffle and big brekkie. I had to ask if it was on way and was assured it was 1 minute from serving. 15 mins later big breakfast arrived which was small and cold. I again asked about toastie, it arrived 5 min later as toasted bread with cold beans and a slice of unmelted cheese. On leaving we were given the jaffle for free! My advice: explain to customers before sitting you are struggling with wIth service times, communicate throughout about what is happening. Not once were we approached, offered explanation or given choice to go elsewhere . The 5 wait staff were standing around perhaps they could have been in kitchen assisting with basics?

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen! We tried to order through Uber and they didn’t send a driver. After waiting an hour for Uber we contacted Bridges who cooked our food fresh for our arrival right as they were closing. As we had cancelled our Uber order we had not paid, but the wonderful staff on service (all of them not just one) refused to take money as we had been stuffed around so much by Uber! This wasn’t their fault but they were beyond wonderful, and whilst they can’t comp everyone’s food as that isn’t how businesses work it was such a lovely gesture from a local business! We enjoyed our hot meal which was incredible as always, and give a massive thank you to the staff and owners!

Bridges restaurant hosted our brother memorial on Monday 21.03.22 we had excellent service the owner of bridges was absolutely amazing Hakeem hands down best manger!! The lead up to organisation and to execution on the day magical. My brother would have loved it so much we can not thank you enough for your wonderful friendship you went above and beyond. Also to add we had way more people than expected and it honestly did not matter because there was more than enough staff on to accommodate! Bless you guys were truly amazing. We will definitely be back for more family events. Thanks so much Hakeem ❤️

This has to be the worst place that i have come across in a long time, was looking for a place to catch up with some friends, and from start to finish was not a pleasant experience. Sat down and had to ask for the menus to be cleaned as they were greasy with food stains all over them, meals ordered and one meal was incorrect, steak that i had was ordinary, sauce cold and chip under cooked and cold. all other meals were just very ordinary pub meals cold. service was ok but had to get up and ask for coffees twice. All in all not a place i would recommend.

From the amazing food and the table decor, to the beautiful rustic ambience of the open fires and fairy lights, we couldn’t be happier with Bridges as a venue for our wedding. Liz was there to guide us through and assist us with all our questions on planning our day. She was very accommodating to all our needs and helped us out so much. We had such a beautiful winter wedding there and couldn’t be happier.

We went for lunch on a Saturday when the sun was breaking through the trees on a winter day so we sat outside. Lovely and peaceful, plenty of birds in the trees including kookaburras. The food was very reasonably priced, I had the veal schnitzel which was in a lovely crumb, my friend the fish which he said was pretty good. And I finished up with lemon cake mousse which was delicious!! We will definitely return, far from pretentious, homely setting even with the huge indoor space (for weddings).

Was there for a presentation and dinner. Asked to swap a meal and was advised that once the plate hit the table food could not be swapped. Did not try to accommodate and the lady was very, very rude. Really not caring for her customers. I wouldn't waste my money there again.

Six diners last night for dinner. $15 parma deal included a glass of wine beer or soft drink. Food was hot, tasty and chips freshly cooked. Smaller than a pub parma but for the price still good value with a drink. Staff were friendly and helpful with our food allergy person. Lovely location and venue. Would definitely go back. Will repeat another comment that the ladies was spotless. Congratulations. Dessert choices were good and so was the coffee.

Recently had lunch there and the food was very very ordinary. Everything was overcooked and dry. Nobody enjoyed their meal. Very disappointed for we were looking forward to a nice lunch. Need to get their act together quickly

My husband and I went there with a Groupon. Everything exceeds our expectation: the mudbrick building, beautiful interior, serene natural surrounding, the quality of the foods and services. The seafood platter is the best I had so far in Australia (the others were in Brisbane and Sydney). You can also visit the local shops nearby with lots of nice, cosy coffee shops, second hand dealers and bookshop. Very nice.

Locals but our first time here. Food was great, enough choice on the menu (even for our fussy 8 yo) and the service was excellent. We had the specials - very nice! Beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the warmth, thanks guys, we will be back!

Went here with the family for Saturday lunch. Enjoyed a cocktail and my husband had a wine , lunch was delicious. The chicken focaccia was huge and delicious, price was worth the food quantity. Atmosphere is great , best thing kids have a place to play while me and husband relaxed. Staff was super friendly and lovely.

Went here for a funeral where I had some video streaming responsibilities also. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the food afterwards was great. We had my son's primary school graduation there 8 years ago, and the venue is great for many occasions. Highly recommended!

Nice mudbrick building with plant nursery, restaurant pleasant garden around the buildings, very restful. Food was tasty, delivered by friendly, efficient, cheerful staff. Dessert selection was different and enjoyed my cafe panacotta with even more tasty trimmings. Restaurant was cosy, spacious, private all at once. Happy to go again.

Really disappointing and dissatisfied with the multiple food issues. A recent function wasn’t at all the bridges I knew before covid unfortunately. The 2 stars go to the waiters who tried their best and aren’t at fault.

Had Cudo voucher $40 entitled us 2 course meal off menu deserts n 1 free drink. V.good value considering the food was 1st rate service prompt n with a smile n venue had a welcoming feel abt it. Topping it off Back Beat local band rocked us thru the night. Certainly will come back again.

Went mid arvo on Saturday between lunch and dinner. Kitchen was closed but mgt was nice enough to cook up some chips for the kids. The outdoor backdrop was splendid. Will have to go back and try out the meals. Has a real local/country feel to it and felt like they’ve know us for years.

Between 4 of us we tried 2 entrees, 4 mains and 2 desserts and everything was amazing! The place is comfortable and welcoming and the staff are friendly and attentive. The most enjoyable luncheon we have had in quite a long time! Thanks heaps! p.s. The onion rings are to die for :)

Large mud brick building with seating inside and outside in a bush setting. Adjoining nursery is run down and plants seem to be dying which is a shame. The service is just adequate and meals are low quality, even the coffee is bad. Just stay with the bar drinks at this place.

Met a few mates there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Very warm welcome from the staff and good food. Very well priced. Indoor and shady outdoor seating available. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wood fireplace smell hangs in the air.

Stopped for a lunch on a sunny winter afternoon. Had the best food and service by lovely staff Lauren. Beautiful smile and great service and so proud to be part of the organization.

Just called into Bridges to "have a look" at their nursery and enquire about purchasing some roses. Upon arrival we noticed they had a delightful café and advertised a function room for weddings. As a Commonwealth Authorized Marriage

My Nana’s funeral was held at Bridges yesterday, couldn’t recommend it more. Perfect setting, perfect staff, everything was great. Thank you for welcoming us and making us all feel so comfortable during such a hard day.

It is an okay place. Great customer service and a beautiful setting though. My assumption was to see variety of plants in large quantities. There was variety but not for a mass planting. All plants were not happy.

Enjoyed a great steak tonight at Bridges ,cooked to perfection , The staff are so happy to be serving you , very helpful, will be going back again ,this time for lunch When we can shop in the nursery as well ,

We had the lunch special which was solid with the chicken parma being the main course. I would have liked to have seen more main meal options, but solid otherwise (they have a very large ala carte menu too).

Food is beautiful and meals are large which is great. Lovely space to dine in, kids room, open fire, beautiful outside and staff are friendly and easy going. Would definitely recommend to others!

Food was dreadful and mostly inedible. Overpriced and slow service. Waitresses were doing what they can and can’t fault them, just bad management and poor quality.

Best value feed at this price. The staff are always warm and very welcoming. Added bonus - the loos are always sparkling clean; something all too often overlooked!

Lovely service , food and variety of menu. Fun to come home with some spring plantings also. Easy access for disabilities too. Wish I could give a 6 star rating.
