Absolutely hopeless from start to finish. Adam talked the talk but couldn't deliver. I engaged his services for a leaking roof - after a roof inspection and discussion I decided that a full roof restoration was the best option based on Adam's advice. There were multiple issues along the way due to poor communication with myself and his sub-contractors but also a lack of care in carrying out the work. Issues started with the roof cleaning process where leaves/dirt were pushed into my down pipes instead of being redirected - during the next heavy rain event this resulted in my gutters backing up and a considerable amount of water entering my house through the aircon unit (imagine a waterfall through your aircon system). Initially Adam didn’t want to take the blame for this and tried to claim that it was my fault and I should have had my storm water drains cleaned. Eventually he conceded and took steps to rectify the issue. We also had a contractual issue where we discussed in person, email and text messages about re-pointing being carried out (which is also stated as a critical part of a roof restoration on Adam's website) yet it was not included in the contract and therefore not carried out. I take some blame for this as I should have read the contract more closely instead of taking Adam's word for it. I also had to do my own site clean up as his contractors failed to do so - these contractors along with being incompetent also smoked on site and left lunch rubbish lying around at the end of the day. Ultimately, the big issue was after all the work was carried out and final bills were paid... my roof still leaked. Adam had failed to identify where the leak was and therefore failed to fix it. After clambering around on and in my roof I identified multiple cracked tiles that hadn't been replaced along with the main culprit which was located under the solar hot water system. Adam refused to acknowledge that this was his issue to fix so after a lot of back and forth I had to engage the QBCC to resolve this issue. I had to wait 5 months for a QBCC inspector to come out and during that time I had buckets in my roof catching water in order to avoid more internal damage to my house. Fortunately, once the QBCC were able to carry out their inspection, they ruled in my favour and Adam received a direction notice to fix the leak. Adam received the direction notice and continued to be useless and after 3 weeks had still failed to organise a second party to lift the solar hot water system so the broken tile could be replaced. I had to ring around on his behalf to organise this to happen. On the day that this work was to be carried out, Adam did the absolute bare minimum and had to be prompted by the solar hot water company to replace other broken tiles that were subsequently found after lifting the system. Ultimately this whole process took the better part of 11 months to be resolved and was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Overall a disappointing journey. Key points from my experience - Contract payment terms wrong in relation to progress payments - start date confirmation agreed to (FYI - we were out of town so a start date was agreed upon our arrival back) - work started whilst we were out out of town - safety poles assembled so that vehicle could not be immediately driven out - stripping vs non-stripping of existing paintwork (was told verbally and written that pressure washer would remove existing paint), then new primer/paint applied. - waterproofing membrane/flashing not done prior to paint being applied (despite a verbal communication that it was going to happen prior to the paint being applied) - communication of workers movements (eg. they will turn up tomorrow) but didn't - nor any ongoing dialog from owner - safety poles removed prior to 100% work completion - final invoice received prior to work completion - final invoice wrong (overstated) - no apologies for the mistake? - reminders to pay final invoice prior to work completion (3 in total so far) FYI - When work was completed, final invoice was paid in full In summary, very poor communication and ownership of issues throughout. ** in relation to your responses - I can document all conversations (including lack of responses) that we had and more than happy to supply on this channel if need be.

Our property was damaged during the November 2020 hail storm in SE Queensland. Due to the sheer volume of damaged homes, access to trades quickly evaporated as everyone booked companies to begin repairs. My wife and I had had some feedback from a friend about BQR, so we contacted Adam as quickly as possible. He was professional and accomodating from our very first contact, and arranged a sight inspection pretty well straight away. After a little discussion about the scope of works, and what we required in our repair quote, Adam sent through a detailed Quote with Scope of Works, for us to review. We found his offer to be fair and detailed, which allowed us to move forward with a repair date. Due to further rain early in the year, dates had to be delayed for safety, but Adam and his excellent sale rep, Petrea, continually kept both our rental agent, and ourselves in the loop. Repairs got under way, and within 2 days, our hail battered colourbond roof and spinners, were gone. What appeared was a shiny, new, perfect replacement, complete with a new warranty. Adam, Petrea and the BQR team did an amazing job, at a very competitive price. By March 2021, our home was as new, while today, in June 2021, there are still hundreds of damaged homes under tarps all around us. The peace of mind BQR has given us is priceless.

I was utterly blown over with the professionalism of Adam and his team. From my first contact requesting a quote I felt I was being looked after all the way. Adam came out at the arranged date and time, carried out the inspection, forwarded his quote as per his promised time frame, then was in contact prior to works commencing to keep me in the loop with the person who would be carrying it out plus the date/time they would arrive. This left me feeling that everything was well under control of a professional organisation. My roofer, Marcus, did an amazing job and also took care of the surrounds, leaving everything neat and tidy at day's end. Adam organised a bang up job for our roof to be restored on a property in major need of it. Communication was great throughout the process. There were some delays in getting the job done due to weather and various illnesses going around, but that is to be expected. We had a flexible timeframe to allow for this which was fine. Overall happy with the job and recommendations made along the way. If you're looking to get a roof restoration then consider Adam to organise it for you. Allow for extra time to complete as there could be variables that slow down the process out of anyones control. Pricing was very fair and competitive with other quotes we received.

Amazing job refinishing the roof of a Queenslander with a white emulsion that is so cool I can lay down on the roof in the middle of the day and its not even hot. Noticeable drop in internal temperature well beyond my expectation. Completely professional team - I rate them very highly. Even returned at no cost for a post inspection and touch up out after solar panel installation by others. Thank you Adam - excellent product and excellent job.
