This store is a typical country store. We started to feed the wild birds (yes lock-down has unforseen positives) and purchased a bag of seed from the pet-shop then recently we were driving past Budget Stockfeeds and decided to have a look. Same bag was half the price. Customer service is old-school friendly. Nevertheless dont expect bright flashy lights with millennials dancing in the aisles with "joker" smiles on bobble-heads. Its a family business where the person behind the counter will give you honest advise and sell you food for your pets or animals at a great price.

Just rang looking for pigs ears for my dog. Could hardly understand the bloke on the other end and had to ask if I had the right store. I then had to ask again for prices for pigs ears and he accuses me of working for another store. This is only 15 seconds into the conversation. He then suggests I come and have a look. If I wanted to look I wouldn't have rung for a price. What a strange grumpy bloke. I wouldn't have given any stars but you can't post without giving them something.

Good place to get any pet food including horses. I get my hay there for my horse and it's cheaper then all the other ones around the penisula. I also get my dog food for a 20kg bag for three dogs it lasts for a month so five stars

My local shop for dog and chicken feed. Cheapest Blackhawk Lge Breed dog food in Mornington. All your basic pet needs. Friendly staff, always someone to help carry large feed bags to car. My kids love George the whistling bird.

I have been going here for over 10 years and there is a good reson for that. The service is spot on and the quality and range of feed is first class. Plus I love to support local. R.I.P little George, I will miss our kisses x

If you want to support a family owned business this is it. Not as shiny as your Pet Barns or the like but full of the things you really need at great prices. And it's good fun to have a chat with the owners
