My wife had a birthday on Mon Feb 5 and I went to the shop on previous Saturday to get a gift voucher / book a pampering treatment for my wife. The service was nice and I decided on a 2 hours package that had a foot bath (15 min.), a massage (30 min.) and a facial (1 hour) even though my wife doesn't like foot bath / massage. The nice lady assured that it's not a problem and that they can leave that out and give her 45 min. massage instead (15 min. extra). In addition I booked a smoothie & chocolates for her. On Monday I brought her there and picked up 2 hours later for a dinner. It turns out the package had not worked out the way it was supposed to. Instead of being able to swap the foot bath for an additional 15 min. massage, the lady there on that day had insisted that it's not possible and she can leave it out but that's it. The massage was relaxing and she did enjoy the facial. As for the smoothie that was supposed to be during the treatment, she got after it all a glass of champagne (the other option to a smoothie but that's not what I had booked). Result was that she was feeling pretty light-headed and didn't want to toast a glass of champagne during the dinner since she already had one. The experience was definitely not what I had booked and agreed for her and I was disappointed. On the plus side, she didn't know of the agreement and even though the foot bath was (for her) mildly unpleasant she was mostly happy - thus 2 star rating and not 1 star. But would not recommend and having spent over 200 dollars, feel cheated. Will probably get my wife day spa surprises in future as well but definitely not at Calma.

All views are my own. Disappointing place. Got a package for 2 from adrenaline and the service was unprofessional and not great. The person that attended to me had to answer the phone multiple times during the session. At one point she was gone for at least 15 minutes. This extra time was not given back to us. The way they did the nails were not great. Pedicure and manicure at other places I’ve been to at a lesser price have been better. I would not pay the amount they charged us again. My partner also said that the 2 people she had were not great. Nails for us both still needed to be filed. This was not a relaxing session at all. Multiple times both our people had to leave us and answer the door or the phone. For long amounts of time too, this doesn’t exactly create a relaxing environment. For $200+ I would not go here again.

Massage was ok. Masseur young, inexperienced but tried hard. The manager/possible owner however, was rude, insensitive. I paid by cash, two hundred dollar notes for massage was $185. She took the notes, looked at them suspiciously, commented on how they look different to each other and made me wait while she Googled them. This made me feel very uncomfortable…I assured her these notes was given to me by my bank. She simply ignored my comment. After she saw recognized the legitimacy of the notes on the web …she still kept saying ‘oh I have never seen these notes before’, completely insensitive to how I was feeling quite upset and uncomfortable at her behavior. Certainly not returning if that’s how she treats her clients.

Booked a relaxation massage +facial for myself and a pregnancy massage and facial for my friend as part of a day of pampering for her. I used Groupon vouchers for 90 min deal. The team at Calma were very professional, efficient and yet amazing. We were 5 mins late after dropping kids to school/kindy and yet were never rushed. My friend loved her morning. I would highly recommend and if time allows it, will definitely book for us both to come back again soon ! Before coming to Calma I really struggled with my skin and thought there was no solution. That all changed the first day I stepped through those doors and into the capable hands of my therapist. I have now been a regular client for the past 2 years and my skin has never looked and felt better, its refreshed, refined and I am more in control. From my first appointment my concerns were addressed and from following my treatment plan and home care my expectation have been exceeded. I highly recommended a series of Lactic botanical peels, they will leave your skin feel smooth, plump and Hydrated.

I purchased Calma’s oxygen facial at home during lockdown. Kristy was so kind, responsive and made sure to deliver the kit within Armadale. The kit was amazing and my skin felt so good after. The instructions were easy to follow and numbering all the little containers meant that anyone could follow the steps to complete the facial. My favourite product was the Purity cleanser. It smelt amazing and I could really feel it cleaning my skin. Kristy even mentioned it exfoliates I am definitely going to purchase again before these lockdowns are over! Thanks Calma

I had a great experience from start to finish. I have just started maternity leave ahead of my second child and the Mum to Be package was the perfect way to kick it off! The massage was relaxing but still addressed the tension in my back, while the products used in the facial smelled amazing. The pedicure was a lovely finish with a great selection of nail polish colours to choose from. All of the staff at the spa are extremely friendly and easy to chat with, I left my treatment feeling calm and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Calma spa for a relaxing treat.

I brought my elderly Mum in for a couple of treatments as a treat. She’s going through cancer treatment and deserved a treat. Previous to Covid I had brought my mum in every year for her anniversary. We live in Bentleigh east and there are spa centres closer to home, but Calma Spa is wonderful. She absolutely loved it and all staff we came in touch with were wonderful as usual. Carley really treated Mum and she felt so pampered and looked after. Thank you. I will definitely recommend you.

I love going to Calma for facials, massages and body scrubs. The staff are wonderful, always so caring and professional - they really make you feel special. I had forgotten just how wonderful 1 hour of time can be filled with perfection because truely my hour with Julia was just that - from the wonderful environment to the great products to her professional and caring treatment I was completely thrilled and relaxed at the end of my hour. I went into Calma Armadale last week for a relaxation/Coco Cream massage and loved the experience. The therapist was wonderful and was able to work around a few injuries I had which made lying on my stomach painful so I was still able to really enjoy the experience. I felt blissfully relaxed after my massage and loved the refreshments provided afterwards which really allowed me to savour the experience. Looking forward to going back!

Had a massage here a few weeks ago and it was pretty bad. First, the toilet was dirty and messy when I came in, second, the towels on the massage table had hairs!!! And lastly, the therapist clearly didn't want to be there, I asked for a different pressure and she kept going with the same or even softer, plus she started 5 minutes late but finished exactly on time, very disappointing.

Great facial and massage from a lovely therapist. Terrible pedicure. Missed out on a descent foot massage while the therapist attended to the desk. Nail polish all over my toes. Very messy. No care taken. Too rough while buffing nails and left scratches on skin. Needed to fix it up at home. Could do a better job myself. Will never go back.

My partner and I were lucky enough to have an hour massage today at Calma medispa - it was AMAZING! The spa is so relaxing from the moment you walk in - so clean and fresh The staff were wonderful, the massage was awesome! Massage therapist was amazing , good experience. Partner and kids were locked outside of apartment so I couldn’t do the full 90min and opted for 60 instead so I can get back to them. Manager refused to give me credit for the rest of my time which I thought was pretty average considering the circumstance.

I went for pamper package and it was AMAZING, the hot stone massage was so enjoyable, I loved the head massage - and I normally cant get them to stop soon enough, it was so relaxing. Definitely a place for pampering, the rooms and atmosphere and waiting room really get you in the mood.

Amazing service in a very peaceful and ‘calm’ environment. Everything from massage to eyebrow shaping, facials and pedicures. The staff are so welcoming and make you feel at ease right away. They use amazing products as well! Highly recommend. (Ps try the peach tea it is amaaazing).

Great atmosphere in the room and definitely felt pampered. I think the beautician should ask a few more questions during service regarding strength of pamper as mine was too gentle for what I was expecting ( being my 1st ever facial).
