I’ve been a regular to CK Auto since I owned my car for the usual periodic maintenance even for the first service after I took my car out from the dealership. They have always been very thorough and detailed with their service. Most importantly, they do not hard sell on you to replace or buy parts that otherwise dealers would mandate. They check all filters and even if its kore than the prescribed usage period so long as they see it doesn’t need replacement yet, they wont do so and tell you the same. There was also an instance where they done a minor mishap on my car during one of my scheduled visits where the technician forgot to close the oil cap after my oil change. As a result, it spewed oil all over the engine bay and hood. In addition, it sent fumes thru my air conditioning/heating in the cabin. They immediately rectified the situation with an engine wash, topped up all the fluids that needed top up, replaced my cabin filter and also proposed a free oil change for their mishap. This is the type of shop that you should visit where they really take care of their customers and all their employees - JP and Jay Lynn and all their technicians. This is now my default car shop regardless of where I live in the city. I trust them with my car for everything as if it’s my life! You always leave as a satisfied customer! More power to you guys!!

I have taken my car to this shop since 2018. Overall, I’m not pleased with the high pressure tactics this shop uses. Below was one of several experiences I have encountered since the ownership has changed. New ownership applies unreasonable pressure to repair vehicle. Their mechanics take pictures of vehicle parts in your car to use fear to pressure uneducated car owners compete repair on parts which do not require repair. My most recent experience, after taking my car in for an alignment, I was greeted to a long list of items which CV felt were required. The receptionist reviewed the list with me. Once she was completed her review she was quite condescending asking me if “I wasn’t sure what I was going to be doing with the vehicle”, implying that I was no adequately caring for the vehicle, further pressuring me into repairing the vehicle. I’ve since taken this list to my mechanic who gave me an honest assessment. He felt that the items CV listed were “fluff” and not required. I use CV ONLY for oil changes which is with in their abilities and I strongly feel that they pressure customers into repairs that are not required. I recommend a second opinion from a mechanic you can trust.

Jaylynn and the rest of CK Auto Care team are the best. Very accomodating and they truly care for their customers. My vehicle stopped running when I was in BC and needed to be towed back to Calgary. I called Jaylynn mid morning of Monday if it’s possible for the towing guy to drop off my vehicle at CK and to get it checked and fixed. She did not hesitate and allowed the drop off but mentioned that their schedule is full and my vehicle could only get checked Thursday or Friday but they will try to get it checked earlier. The next day, Tuesday afternoon I got a call from CK and told me they got a chance to check my vehicle and confirmed that my starter motor failed and needs to be replaced. They had also checked the availability of the part and gave me an estimation of the total cost. Wednesday mid morning CK called me again and told me the starter motor is already replaced and my vehicle is running once again. They also checked repeatedly under the hood because I requested to look for any leak. CK Auto Care is the most reliable auto shop that I have tried. Highly recommended! - Ericka

One of the holy grails of car ownership is finding an auto mechanic or shop who are 1) super friendly, great communicators, straight-forward and honest; 2) good at what they do. Happy to report that JP and his colleagues at Ramsay Auto Select hit both, and I've been pleased to verbally pass on my recommendations to friends and neighbours. My anecdotal experience is of having a difficult to diagnose CEL. The vehicle had been to two other mechanics prior, neither of whom managed the fix, despite >1500$ in an emissions control part that, in retrospect, didn't need to be changed. I was impressed by JP's work in diagnosing and fixing the problem, and even more impressed by his willingness to admit his first diagnosis was incorrect. He offered the subsequent tests and repairs for free. Anyways, the people there I've interacted with are great, and the work they did on a subtle and tricky problem was successful. I've since referred a few neighbours to them, and the feedback I've gotten is that they are also quite happy. Glad to have this crew in my neighbourhood.

I have been going here since 2018 and previously recommended them to dozens of my friends. However they missed a MAJOR and obvious issue when I brought it in for repairs after an accident - my left wheel was impacted and the drive shaft needed replace no problem. If they had driven my vehicle after servicing they would have noticed my vehicle shaking. When I brought it back they informed me the wheel was bent and unbalanced I asked to replace it but they insisted on being able to balance it, they then tell me how unbalanced it is and how much extra weight was required. Needless to say I won't be returning after having my vehicles serviced here for 5 years, it was such an obvious oversight; wheel is impacted everything needs replaced but don't look at the wheel? Willful neglect is not something I personally look for in a mechanic. Edit: I don't see how you could rectify this experience but to help verify myself to you - you first began servicing my yellow smart cart starting in 2018 and then my kia soul starting in 2021.

If you are looking for a reliable mechanic that isn’t going to try to scam you into paying way more then required because you are a girl Ramsay auto select is definitely the mechanic you should go to.Ramsay auto select is the only mechanic I will trust with my car . As a women a lot of mechanic shops try to tell me there’s more things wrong with my car then there actually is . I have never had this issue with Ramsay Auto Select they do an inspection of your car, take pictures of the problems to show you then they will call you to discuss everything and answer any questions you may have. The staff is amazing super nice and very welcoming people that always have a smile on there faces when helping you. I will continue to bring my car to Ramsay Auto Select and will also continue recommending them to other people

As always, amazing service! I had to get my car towed in and even with issues with the towing company not getting the car there on time (or even the right day!) CK was able to fit me in. They were kind and courteous and diagnosed the issue right away. They promptly ordered the parts and I had my car back the next morning in time for an Important meeting. I had them replace my alternator and battery. Unfortunately the alternator that they put in was faulty (manufacturer's flaw). They replaced the part no questions asked and put the new one in, all for no charge, no questions asked - also I didn't have an appointment at all, they just fit me in each time so I wouldn't be without my car too long. Really lovely people, very fair and professional. I will continue to use them as my everything mechanic. I would highly recommend Ramsay Auto Select for all of your auto needs.

Took my vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection. Service was awesome and the report was detailed enough to see any current issues and maintenance needed on the vehicle. Update: I took a second vehicle in for service/inspection. This is by far the best shop I've dealt with in the Calgary area. Their professionalism and honesty when it came to certain issues/diagnostics will have me continuing to support them when my vehicle needs any service/maintenance.

I'll start by saying that I rarely leave reviews for business - I find that the review board is usually just a place where people go to complain. However, the whole crew at Ramsay Auto Select are awesome and I would be doing them all a disservice to not leave a review! Everyone is very personable and professional - they are very detail oriented and in my opinion, extremely honest. I genuinely would recommend their services to friends, family, or anyone.

We've been taking our cars here for a while now and always feel the service is far superior to any auto shop we've been to. We've never had any issues with repair jobs or any maintenance items either. Pricing is very fair and we know we are getting good quality parts. Recently brought my new vehicle to CK Auto. I had an inspection and estimate done elsewhere and came to CK Auto to get a second opinion. Their prices were far more reasonable than the first estimate. They didn’t see the need to replace a component that the first shop claimed needed to be done. They didn’t feel right replacing it when it was in good condition. They are very honest, helpful and approachable people. Will keep going back.

I had a slow leak in one of my tire. I called right when they opened. They said they were fully booked but would still fit me in at some point today. I dropped off the car and they called a few hours later. The price was great and they even replaced the battery in my remote free of charge. Unfortunately I cannot recall the spelling of the ladies name at the front desk, but she was amazing. Great customer service!! Would recommend!

This is a great place to get your vehicle repaired. Very honest, very pleasant, and really accommodating to schedule. Never do anything unnecessary and very quick to communicate what needs to be done. JP gives great advice on what needs to be done now, and what can wait. The team sticks to their quoted price very closely, even in unexpected circumstances. Highly recommended.

As always, outstanding service with CK auto Ramsay. I had a oil leak and they addressed it in a timely manner. I got the car, there was still a little leak which they thought was residual, but they brought it back in and found another issue and fixed pro bono!!! And it wasn’t an easy job. Great spot to get your tires changed and an oil change in one place! Very affordable, friendly service, prompt and quick turnaround. Great communication, they sent me a full report of my vehicle, with recommendations for tune-ups (but were not pushy when I said I wanted to think about them first before scheduling in these services).
