This is the WORST pharmacy ever!!! I went through drive thru to pick up MY medicine AND MY DAUGHTER’S medicine. I gave them 2 separate prescriptions. One with her name and one with my name. When it was time to pick up, I gave both of our names and the cashier said she only seen my name for a pickup. She proceeded to give me the medication and I noticed she gave me 3 with all my name on them. Clearly all 3 weren’t for me. I went in and told them that I didn’t know which one belonged to my daughter because they bagged them all with my name on all 3. When I went in to explain what was going on, the “supervisor” pulled the prescription for my daughter and acted as if she couldn’t read what it said and actually spelled it out loud and pronounced my daughter’s name. That irritated me so much because you clearly just read it outloud. SO MAYBE IF YOU WOULD HAVE TOOK THE PROPER TIME AND PAID ATTENTION, I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THIS AS AN ISSUE!!!!! Now what if all my medicine would have been labeled with my daughter’s name and I would have gave it to her thinking it was hers Omg!! They are really playing with people lives/health. That little mess up would have someone dead!! I WOULD NEVER AGAIN GO TO THIS CVS EVER IN LIFE!!!!

Monday, October 02, 2023: To: CEO Ms. Karen S. Lynch: The manager Katina or Katrina at the CVS store located at 5902 Read Boulevard is horrible because she bragged to me, on a previous occasion, about hiding in the back of the store and letting her staff do all the work She had to work the register on Monday October 02, 2023 and needed assistance with a customer who was using a coupon. Katrina/Katina did not have a clue on how to apply the coupon. Many times you walk in this CVS store and no one is at the register and you literally have call out loud, hello,hello,hello (when you want to check out). In addition, I showed my valid drivers license for a purchase but covered my address. I showed her assistant my face, date of birth, drivers license ID number; everything but my address. And, the manager Katrina (dark skin black lady with the pink glasses) stopped the $70 purchase. Walgreens had no issues making the sale. Go Walgreens and go Walgreens for always having someone at the register who greets patrons. Katrina would probably card a 80 years old. I won’t say my age though. This store manager, located at 5902 Read Boulevard in New Orleans East, is ignorant, lacks professionalism and needs retraining.

I understand why this location doesn't get much business. It's a pharmacy. You can go the and spend your money, but you're not allowed to use the restroom. There is no public bathroom! The lady working the night shift on 11/24/18 was quite rude about it. It's not as if we were coming in there homeless off the street which is why I'm guessing they are doing that. ... guessing. But what if someone has to throw up? Cvs is a place sick people go. Perhaps if I let my daughter pee outside the building they'll rethink their stupid rule. I'm calling their headquarters. *** They are already more expensive than their competitors. The only reason to go to this location is the $2.99 case of water.

This pharmacy used to be quick and organized few years back. I don't know what happen, but something needs to be fixed. Called in for a refill on a medication and was told that it would be done by 2pm, but it was not filled until 7pm. Another time i dropped off a prescription, was told to come back in 2 hours. I came back 4 hours later and it still wasn't filled. My father need to get his flu shoot and was told he need to wait one hour and the store was empty. This is 5-6th time of terrible service. If things don't improve, my family will switch to Walmart or Walgreen and tell our friends and family to do the same.

I went to pharmacy area to check on my meds when the two uncertified females working in the pharmacy refused to come to register to see what I needed because I had items in my hand.1st off I didn't want them to ring up items because I wasn't finished shopping. 2nd I watched them both fuss back and forth for ainute or two about who was gonna greet me til the pharmacist made one of them walk up.Smdh straight up unprofessional and rude.How are you complaining about working while at work??Go home.The associates in the CVS store were and are very helpful and friendly but the pharmacy is garbage because of the workers.

Pharmacy employees are short, uncourteous, and overall unpleasant. The experience I received at the drive-thru on 9/21/23 @ 1:14 p.m. by a black female employee was appalling. I requested an Rx's availability and was not given any helpful information. The employee didn't offer any suggestions when I asked if it could be attained at one of their other locations. She yelled, " I can't do that! " and "hung" up before I could ask further. I dislike having to leave my neighborhood's pharmacy but they do not deserve business. This employee needs customer service training.

I went in this morning to pick a few things, to make bad experience quick, I stood at check out counter 12 mins or longer with no clerk. I called out several times for assistance and finally someone came out the pharmacy did not acknowledge me and disappeared. So I left the two items on the counter went across the street and made my purchase, with a very pleasant cashier. You might want to consider hiring her because clearly the one thats there doesn't want to work.

Went to this CVS location around 4:30 pm today. The Pharmacist and his two staff members were very professional. Additionally, the young cashier (at the front of the store) Ramani, was such a sweetheart. The line was long, and yet she maintained a professional demeanor despite some grumblings. I've seen my fair share of disorganization at this location that was irritating and unprofessional, but CVS got it right when they hired this young lady!!! KEEP HER!!!

Went to this CVS location at 9:18pm on a Sunday night. The store hours posted on the building clearly say 10pm (I have a photo but site won’t let it post), there were 2 cars in the parking lot, and yet the doors wouldn’t open and no one came to the door to open them manually. If this store ends up closing it’ll be because of 1. The dumb way you have to enter their parking lot, and 2. Employees are closing the store early.

Called in today 09/12/2023 2:51pm with a question. The young lady that answered the phone wasn’t pleasant at all. I greeted her. She did not greet me back. She doesn’t have any manners she answered the phone as if she was on her personal cell phone. She used words such as “Uh huh” when I said “Ok, Thank You! have a nice day” what type of pharmacy store is this. Learn to be professional!

Im here at 8:52pm. Literally need to get one thing and they’ve locked the doors saying they’re closed which is not supposed to happen before 9. Just lost a customer forever. I’ll just go ahead and drive to Walgreens. They stay open later, cashiers are nicer, and prices are better.

I went to this store twice once at 7:37 and again at 7:41 they had the shutters halfway down. I told the guy y’all close at 8 and he refuse to let me get one thing. Why is the closing hours at 8 if your closing before that. Won’t shop here anymore

Pitiful that the drive thru is very seldom open and even worst I went last Friday and the pharmacy was closed because they didn’t have a pharmacist on premises.

Pharmacy staff is always wonderful. Better than Walgreens for sure. Mistakes happen. Nobody perfect. But they always fix the mistakes & always very courteous.

New Manager is amazing ! I love the new crew and how nice and courteous they are ! Way better than Walgreens. I love shopping at this location.

Whew. I really got the runaround today. If my daughter didn't really need her meds I would've gone somewhere else.
