"Worst pharmacy"
First time using this cvs for a prescription to be filled. It is about a 20 minute walk so I called ahead to see if they had received my prescription. I called 3 times and each time they picked up the phone and hung up on me immediately. I could hear background voices before they hung up. I called cvs customer service and they were very friendly. They apologized and were able to give me an ETA on when the prescriptions called. She offered to try and contact the pharmacy for me, stating that when she calls the cooperate office would show up on the caller ID and usually the pharmacy always answers. She tried and was not successful either. But she was helpful and gave me an answer to the question I was calling about. It seems like every pharmacy in downtown Chicago has the worst customer service! Does anyone recommend a pharmacy in the loop area to pick up prescriptions from? I have sworn I would never return to the Walgreens on state and Roosevelt so I am trying out other pharmacies in the area to see if one is decent.
The new pharmacist here is much worse than the previous one, with the quality of service declining significantly. On various occasions, i’ve called to ask if my prescription was available with them indicating it was, for my doctor to send it over and leading to me wasting time following-up. The first time is an honest mistake, the third time is starting to become a pattern. I’m not sure if their system is faulty or not, but i’ve had them assure verbally that they had plenty in stock and it would be filled shortly (confirming they got my doctor’s prescription) for me to follow-up in person (since they don’t answer phones) and someone else indicate they had nothing available and wouldn’t know when it would be. I understand some things are out of their control, but the poor communication creates more frustration than a simple “no, we don’t have it.” They are not transparent, unhelpful, uncommunicative, and if anything, create more headache than they alleviate. Do not send your medications to this pharmacy.
Convenient that the pharmacy is in Target, but their open hours are limited, especially since they close for lunch and early on weekends. Their advice is often unhelpful, for example: will this medication make my blood pressure too low? Answer: buy a blood pressure monitor. Like I’m going to walk around wearing a monitor so that I can take a particular medication
I’ve visited many pharmacies in my life for myself and other family members. There is none better than this CVS. Katy (the pharmacist) is exceptional-extremely professional, thoughtful and kind. Her team is the same way. ‘CVS is fortunate having them represent their company and we’re grateful knowing we’re in such good hands!
Worst pharmacy. They don’t seem to have any system in place to answer calls. I wait an average of 20 minutes before I can ever reach a pharmacist, and often I have to call multiple times (and wait each time) as they have a tendency to cut the line without warning. If you can avoid this location, please do.
There's one guy there who actually answers the phone. I cross my fingers that he's working there every time I have to call in because everyone just leaves you on hold forever and then hangs up on you. I wish I didn't have to call them, but they seem to have an issue with everything.
Made booster appointment online here, no one knew about it, or would make new appointment. Finally after an hour I got a phone number, so now I'm gonna get my booster, 2 weeks from now! I had to get a lift, this is not close to my house, and I am disabled.
If you have a problem with your script expect a +40 min hold time. That is if they ever answer. Worst cvs.
Love CVS inside the Target store at Clark/Roosevelt because it's acceptable to public transportation.
Terrible customer service here. in summary, to save my dignity, I went to a different CVS.
Asked for help with finding what i needed. Nice service. Friendly cashier.
Poor customer service and Pharmacists can be extremely belittling.
Hours are M-F: 9am to 8pm. Sat/Sun: 9am to 6pm.
Good customer service.
A good store
