    "HORRIBLE!! THEY STEAL AND OR KEEP YOUR PASSPORTS !! I called this cab company to retrace my steps while I realized my passport was missing, I sent them an email with a picture of my passport, the lady said yes we have it here come get it tomorrow, So i drive 45 mins to this warehouse office and a guy opens a drawer full of passports, i said to him "why are you guys holding these passports and not taking them to the canada passport office where there is a 24/7 box open to drop off lost passports or taking these passports to the airport? He said " we dont know these people" like ok? anyway I ask for my passport they said they had and they all of a sudden say " sorry we dont have it here, i didnt check the name of the passport and I thought this was yours" as she shows me some brunettes passport while im blonde"

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I was driving east on Memorial Drive and entered the left turn lane to turn onto 36 street NE. The light was red so I stopped and waited. There were 4 of us in the van and we were heading to lunch. After the light turned green, I started driving forward when the Calgary City Cab driver behind me honked his horn. I thought he was trying to get our attention because of a flat tire, something left on top of the van or something else. We turn onto 36 street just as the light turned red. The cab driver meanwhile was still in the turn lane but ran the red light and followed us into the parking lot. He then accused us of purposely reversing and hitting his cab. He said he had video evidence and threaten to call the police. We told him we never reversed and only drove forward after the green light. He again said no, we backed up into him and he was going to call the police. My friend got out of the van and started taking pictures of the front of his cab and all around. That was when he said he now had to call his supervisor and had to leave cause his supervisor would handle things. We have pictures of his entire cab with NO DAMAGE. No damage was on our van either. Not even the caked on dirt on either vehicles was disturbed. We told him if he was serious and had a legitimate accident he could not leave the scene. He said that we had to stay but now he had to leave. Warned us not to leave. We called the cab company and told them about the accident claim and they just hung up on us. We called a second time and they said they'd look into it and call us back. We have not heard anything from them since. Honestly, what do you expect from a company that has a GMAIL account as their company email!! CAB NUMBER 1244 SCAMMERS ALL THE WAY So after getting cab number what did you do

This place is beyond shady and unprofessional and to boot this lady didnt even say sorry, Do not use this cab company if you leave anything even your passport in this cab they will keep it. Who knows what they are doing with all these passports. I did notify authority of this but figured Id leave this honest review of my experience with this dreadful company.

A friend who travelled from out of province arrived to my home from the airport at 4:15 PM and as the driver left realized one of her bags was still in his car. This bag contained her computer, passport and more importantly - medications. She immediately called the dispatcher and asked her to call the driver right away! The dispatcher said she would, and call back. After an hour with no call back, she called again and the dispatcher said she was too busy and didn’t do it yet. She asked again that she contact the driver ASAP and she said she would. Another hour passed and we called again – more excuses.Yet ANOTHER call and the dispatcher said she would do it before she left her shift at 8 PM. At 10 minutes to 8:00 PM another call to the cab dispatcher. This time the dispatcher said the driver had the bag and would bring it to her - for a cost of $70, the cost to drive from the airport to my house. Basically - BLACKMAIL

Avoid using this company from the airport. I took the first taxi in line at the airport. The driver stood by as I handled the luggage into the trunk. I told the driver to round the fare to an even amount that included a small tip. Later, I find out that an additional $10 was added on top of my fare. I called the taxi company three times: two to complain and to retell the event to the manager and to the dispatch person. The third time to follow up my previous conversation. They said that they were looking into and that these sort of things take time and they would get back to me. It has been two weeks and I have heard nothing from them. Stay away from this company. I fear that if a tourist visiting Calgary for the first time and gets cheated like this, it will leave a bad impression on our struggling tourism business. Let's get this company off the airport business!.

Called to book a taxi at canyon meadows station. Operator didn't seem to know where that was. He said would be 30 minutes I said fine. Got canyon meadows 20 mins later and called to make sure he got me a cab. As I didn't get a text message I assumed he forgot. So when I called back he indeed had forgot to call my taxi. He said I'll call now and it's going to take longer than 30 minutes now. I said did you not book me a cab when I called 22 minutes ago. He did not. So I said fine forget it. Got a taxi 5 minutes later thanks checker. I am still pissed so called to get the guys name to make a complaint and he sent me to a machine, i called back and am now blocked. To the management the operator tonight between 11pm and 12pm aug 5,2023 needs to learn customer service, calgary geography and speak english clearly.

Absolutely terrible service. Pre-ordered and pre-paid for a taxi the day before to get my kid to school in the morning. When it was 15 minutes late I called to see where it was and the dispatcher said to me that it was going to be another 10-15 minutes until the driver reached our house. I asked why this was since I had pre-booked it the day before and she stated "traffic". I worked for a taxi company in Vancouver B.C. for years and you are always told to be a little early for pre-booked trips, especially the trips that were already paid for. Her tone was snotty and rude and then she hung up on me and canceled the trip. I will never recommend this cab company to even my worst enemy.

My wife and I ordered a cab on December 17. We ordered through the app and the service was fast. However, the cab driver charged us as we were dropped off and we paid, not knowing that we were also being charged through the app. I contacted them afterwards get a refund for the double charge. I have spent two months now trying to get a refund for their error. I have emailed, getting responses maybe 50% of the time. I have spoken to to their administrator Hanna, who told me FOUR times that I would get the refund that day. I received nothing. While the amount is negligible in the long run, it is the principle of the matter. They stole my money and I want it back.

I would have posted zero stars if I could have. I called Calgary City Cabs one day before I needed them to make sure I had everything in order. The pre booking was confirmed and set. That booking was to get a wheel chair capable cab to take my 91 year old Mother to a medical appointment that was in itself challenging to get. They sent a cab that was just a regular cab. This company is very unprofessional and incompetent !! Driver blamed dispatch, and called them immediately. Dispatch says we have no wheel chair cabs available, what do you want us to do? I was so angry and disappointed, my Mom was going to be quite late. :( Please don't use there services.

Best taxi service I ever used in Calgary I had to for pickup my vehicle from dealership and I requested the time call and I really liked that feature driver arrived at my house 5 minutes early and called me to notify me that he is here. Nice clean car knowledgeable driver and I told him dealership name and he took me there with economical route. I will definitely use them again and I recommend everyone to try them. No other cab company will be used by us as organizations only Calgary City cabs is our company now on. You know what we have common name they are cabs and we are Limousine. Good luck to this cab company.

I had the nicest taxi driver ever! I got a taxi from the airport to the university on January first. I was by myself and have never been to Calgary before. I wasn’t sure where to check in but the driver Richard drove me around for over half an hour around campus trying to help me find the student service desk because I had no idea where it was. He refused a tip from me and made sure I had my keys and was safely inside my accommodation before leaving. I don’t know what I would have done without him, I was completely lost! I’m eternally grateful for his kindness. Thank you Richard!

If I could give this business a negative star, I would. Terrible business! Driver was unsafe, talking on his cellphone, digging through glove box. Was incredibly rude! Spoke to office to get a receipt that the driver wouldn’t/didn’t give us. Called as soon as the driver left, office said they would get a manager to call me, never heard anything. Tried calling back, my number was blocked. Have sent numerous emails, no response, only saying they would suspend the driver for a week. No clue if they ever did. Whatever you do, do not use this company.

I had booked a cab for a 7 am ride to the airport. at about 7:10, they had not shown up. Called, could barely understand the person, poor phone line quality and a thick accent. Apparently their driver had a flat tire and was going to be another 15-20 minutes. I hung up, not sure what to do. They called again a few minutes later - they were sending another driver, who would be 35 minutes late. Cancelled and had to make an emergency call to a friend to drive. Lousy service and poor communications - I would not use this company again.

I took a taxi from the airport to downtown Calgary. The driver did not help me or even offer to help unload my luggage from the back of the taxi upon arrival at my destination. They sat in the driver seat after I paid, and they opened the trunk/hatch -back of the taxi remotely. While I was taking my own luggage out I said “thank you” and the driver drove away immediately without a word and while the trunk/hatch-back was still wide open. Sorry I didn’t get a receipt or taxi number. I wish I had before they drove away.

Needed to find a reliable service after calling for wheelchair accessible taxis from 2 other companies that never showed up. All the drivers we have had seem quite competent, and friendly. Yet one driver in particular is our go to driver. He is extremely competent, friendly, and definitely goes the extra mile to help. I know all it takes is one bad experience to turn someone off, but only one time during rush hour did we have a longer wait. Otherwise they have been perfect for us.

I used Calgary City Cabs from Calgary airport after 2am on Sun Dec 18. This was my first time using this taxi company. The driver was reluctant to help me with my luggage into and out of the truck. He said "the bag isn't heavy you can carry" and he did not park near my house even though there was room. I have used other taxi companies in the city and the drivers are always willing to help. Due to the unfriendly driver, I have to give one star.

We booked transport for 5 people w luggage w confirmation email that I booked correctly . We got notification a few mins past pickup time that the driver was on his way in a Prius . When I called to tell them we need a larger vehicle, they stated they’d call me back. I didn’t hear back from them till 20mins later . We could not wait any longer for them to possibly show up so we made other arrangements

Very dirty vehicle that wasn’t in great shape. Driver was pushy asking us to get in, asked us to pay cash and if we didn’t have it he would drive us to an atm and hand write us a receipt… I did not feel safe at all, to be honest. We did get home alright though, and the fare was very cheap compared to Uber or other taxis. I would gladly pay $20 more to feel safe. Cab number was 14614

Tried to order a cab one morning on the way to work.. I ended up waiting about half an hour for a driver to accept my route, but it never ended up happening. I booked an Uber instead, with which a driver accepted my ride almost immediately. They refunded me (as they should have), but I'm not sure how much faith I would put into Calgary City Cabs in the future.

Worst experience ever. They told me 20...I waited 25 before speaking with the driver. He told me another 20 minutes...i waited 45 minutes for them to NO SHOW. Dispatch then refused to take my call after a number of attempts. Unprofessional, unreliable and unbelievable. This happened today around 11am. They deserve 0 stars.

Arrived in a timely manner and called ahead to notify me of their arrival. Used an accessible cab and I I have no complaints as to the efficiency of getting strapped in and ready to go. Driver is friendly and polite. Back of the cab could use a little cleaning but that’s a minor issue. All around a good experience.

I was worried I would be dribbled, ( like the other cab company did ). Nope, I was proven wrong ! The cab driver DIDN'T TRY NO monkey business . It was all polite, straight to the point and proper. Plus after they took my call ,they sent a text which showed a map how far ( mins ) the driver was .

Booked an airport pickup from this company through a different provider. Had to change pick-up time not problem. Arrived early and picked up luggage far quicker than expected. Phoned them , taxi arrived a few minutes early. Not a problem.Straight to the hotel. Would use them again

I have took many cabs in my life time but city cab has been the best. They provide the best service and are the nicest and most polite people you will ever meet. They are never late and drop you to your destination on time. I would recommend this cab for anyone.
