I used their service for food pickup to be delivered to my house and I clearly stated the address for pickup which the dispatcher confirmed. She commented, "The branch of this food chain you want pickup from is far from your house", but I confirmed it is where I need it picked up. The cab was not at my house yet after waiting for a long time to which I decided to check with dispatch. She's like, "Oh the cab went and the restaurant didn't know anything about your pickup". So I called the restaurant and the manager confirmed my food's been sitting there waiting for pickup. I called dispatch again to relay this and it turned out she sent the driver to a different branch! She even kept saying this branch she sent the driver to is closer to my house. I was so furious because one, I waited a long time for nothing, and two, please don't tell me where to order my food from. Your job is to just send a cab to the address I specified. And I wouldn't have known what had transpired had I not called. The dispatcher could have at least notified me to let me know that they had to cancel the trip. She didn't apologize and sent another cab and ofcourse I waited another half hour at least when all of it could have been avoided. I had to pay the driver $15 more than what the dispatcher quoted me which was also annoying. To top it all, the dispatcher was so rude raising her voice on me when it was clearly her mistake for sending a cab to the wrong place. I'm so disappointed with the kind of service I received. I've always recieved prompt service, (5-15 mins for a car to arrive) no matter the time of day or night, or area of the city. The quotes given over the phone are usually bang on, and in my experience, they are the cheapest cab in town, and on par with or cheaper than uber. The girls answering the phone are quite helpful and easy to understand (never had one that spoke poor English). Drivers are pretty typical, some chatty, some not so much, some will help with loading baggage while others will not, but all around a reliable and affordable company. And this is coming from someone who generally hates using taxis! I've saved my favorite part for last: they're pet friendly! Finding a ride service that will accept even large dogs and not charge an arm and a leg for it is no easy feat. These folks are always accommodating and I don't think they charge any extra. On one occasion the gal who dispatched a car for me I guess didn't communicate the "large dog" part, and so a driver who was scared of dogs showed up for me and my over-friendly 90lb mutt (who was leashed but wants to be petted & make friends with everyone). The driver kept his distance but still helped load and unload my many bags/suitcases and drove my pup and I anyways, and he didn't make a fuss or make me feel uncomfortable/guilty at all. Can't really ask for anything more from a cab company.

We travelled with your company at 5:00pm on Sat Sept 30 for a 3.9km taxi ride from Best Western Centre Inn to the Scotiabank Saddledome. Driver #146 was super friendly and charged us $10 for the ride!! Ordered another cab at 11:07pm, and we waited 40 minutes for our cab #29 that never showed up. Your tracking link said the cab was 2 minutes away and then it all of a sudden disappeared and the page said the booking was unavailable. When I called they said “the traffic was so busy that our driver couldn’t get in and they would send another one right away.” After waiting over 45 mins, we asked a near by cab with the #1203 for a ride. He said it’ll be a “$50 ride because it’s night time”. Without even running the meter at all for the same distance of 3.9km!! Ridiculous. When we said $50 was too expensive, he said I’ll take 40. When I questioned why his meter was off for the entire length of the ride he ignored me and asked well how are you paying me? Absolutely ignorant and rude driver and he is flat out scamming people. Afterwards, I phoned the company to inquire about the driver, I was told “that cab number isn’t even registered with our company”. You need to look into this for the sake that your company is going to have a terrible reputation if you continue to let awful drivers like him scam people out of their hard earned dollars.

I called yesterday at 2pm to book a cab for a 6am pickup this morning. As I am writing this, after over an hour waiting, they still did not have a car available to pick me up. (Important note: there was snow all day yesterday and through the night). A car was not available due to the weather and road conditions. This is out of their control. What is not out of their control, however, is the fact that I received 0 updates on my booking until I called. I phoned at 6:10am to see why it was late, and was told it would be 15 minutes. I called again at 6:55 and was told a car had still not been assigned to my booking, and they couldn't provide an estimate of when I might get one. The gentleman I spoke to at 6:55 was very pleasant despite my frustrations (and honestly my rudeness), and was very empathetic to my situation. His honesty about not being able to provide a time estimate was more appreciated than his prior coworkers lie. Ultimately, I had to request a pickup from a coworker instead, as I couldn't continue waiting in limbo for a cab that they couldn't give me any kind of time estimate for. The whole point of booking a day before was to ensure I got a cab on time, so this was extremely frustrating to deal with especially early in the morning.

0/10 experience. I am still waiting for a refund or someone to return my call from a cab driver picking up someone else and charging me the full price. Then this weekend I ordered a cab and while I Deerfoot ( I was watching on the app) he started his meter and then cancelled the drive, resulting in a charge for me. Good kick in the teeth when I got a follow up text letting me know my ride was at a discounted rate. When I called to figure out what was going on and asked to speak to a manager, I immediately got told I didn't know what I was talking about and that I wasn't listening. After finally "understanding" she told me I would have to call back myself to get my refund on Monday. When I tried calling back on a weekday last time something similar happened and they stole money, the person on the phone couldn't give me a number to call as I wasn't calling the right one. No one should ever use their app, nor pay for their cab with this company before completing their ride. Another issue we've seen is the cab drivers call and ask where you're going and if they don't like your answer they just hang up and cancel the ride. Unreliable

The cab driver that showed up in a van cab which i didn't request tried to charge me $40 plus 6.80 which is for requesting a van and having multiple extra luggage.from marlborough wal mart to forest lawnaround 39th st which normally cost around $12-14 one way ,not $40 .I asked him why they don't say that 0bout all the extra charges to anyone else that they pick up that has groceries(as I was in wal mart and just bought around $150 of groceries) he also already started thr meter as soon as he pulled up and so arguing about the $40 for a one way trip that has never cost more than $13 (which the meter now was over $10 and the driver didn't even move the vehicle at all ,he got out and started unloading my bags of groceries yelling at me that I have no money to pay him..ya right buddy,who goes grocery shopping then has no money for s cab home.i will never call united ever again and I will let everyone I know that uses cabs to call a different company..looks like checker cabs it will be from now on..this cab in particular is van cab #81.

Called to follow up on the status of my cab. Told me the cab left because I wasn’t outside. It was 6am, dark, my road has no street lights.. I kept an eye out around the expected ETA but never saw it. Frustrated, I asked the following: Q: why was I not notified with a text message or call the cab arrived (standard protocol)? Employee A: the text notification system is not working (I call BS. They can provide driver with my phone number to automate a text or call). Further, they asked why I wasn’t waiting outside around the ETA time range (which I had to call back to get in the first place… it wasn’t initially provided). It was -35C out… why would I wait outside when I should receive notification upon cab arrival. Plus I would like to have been contacted if my cab left instead of waiting expecting its arrival. This poor service almost made me late to the airport to fly home for Christmas - thanks!!!!!

Review for cab number 1735: I am ashamed that I did not ask the cab driver’s name but whoever was driving this cab at 3:50-4:00am on a saturday night was exceptionally polite and accommodating. He was able to slightly alter the route shown on gos so that I could be taken the side of my house that is most convenient. Calgary united will always be my choice over apps such as uber as long as drivers are as kind and have as much freedom to deviate from the assigned route as my driver did. Side note: I had tried over and over to get an uber on the app and all had posted a time of 30min+ I called Calgary United and the dispatcher told me 10-15 minutes. A cab was there in under 5 minutes. These companies need local business! As long as they can keep up with demand they will stay the quicker and cheaper alternatives to the foreign entities that run companies like uber and lyft.

I will not be using this company in future. I have previously had reliable service from this company and I like that they have an app option, however after my experience with the service today I will no longer be using them. My driver upcharged me by taking a roundabout route to my destination to drive up the meter, marked that he had arrived before he actually did and charged me an extra fee for that as well (I was tracking his cab via the app and therefore was at the pickup spot ahead of time). Finally, I was asked multiple times whether I lived at my pickup location and whether or not I lived alone, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. All-in-all, I ended up being unjustifiably charged 50% more than what a comparable trip to my workplace has cost in the past. Very disappointed. Will not be using again. Likely will switch to Uber for up front pricing.

Not a great cab service. Ok i gave it 3 stars just because it takes you from place to place. It's cheaper than others but there are probably reasons for that. Few times i ordered, a driver either confuses the address, or starts asking where you are going, on your ride already in cab (what?) Many of their drivers are unfriendly and don't have a good attitude. They always add extra charge to your bill for something. When you place an order, you can't see the eventual cost of the trip, just approximate. So when you arrive, you always get a 'surprise' added fee you didn't expect. But they never discount your bill because of, for example, how long their driver took to arrive to your location (gotten lost on the way, etc). It will get you to the place, but it is not a good quality cab service.

Reviews to the driver. The driver did help put our stroller in the trunk, but then rushed to get in the car before the 2 adults and child were buckled. He sped out of the parking lot so fast that a car honked at him and he made us feel unsafe (rushing to get though). I did give minimal tip as when we arrived home, i said i have debit to pay and he didnt say anything, so i opened the doors to hop out and come out to the front window and pay. I paid and asked him to pop the trunk so my boyfriend could grab our stuff. He continued to stare at the machine obviously annoyed at the little tip and we had to ask politely 4x to get into the trunk. When taking off he turned around in the middle of a street (and came scarily close to us). Not a good experience at all.

I have been using united cabs for some time now twice a month. For the most part they have been very good but when the weather turns bad you can pretty much forget about getting picked up. The first time we had a snow storm using these guys I received no notifications saying they were going to be late. I have a flight I need to catch to go to work so if very crucial I get there on time. I phoned them and they said minimum a hour. I missed my flight. I was willing to give them the another chance. Again today another storm and a no show with no notifications. I phoned and the dispatch told me he had no idea when a cab would be there . I book these cabs a day early which obviously doesn't matter. Again I missed my flight. I'm done with this company

OK, so I worked a wicked shift at work. I pre-booked my cab to pick me up from work. 1) I was told I should have been more specific with information. 2) I advised driver I pre-booked on the app. I Didn't s see area to be more specific. 3) My card missed the tap so then I was advised by driver on how to use a POS. I'm a cashier. 4) I found driver to be very rude and then when I spoke up for myself he turned it around and asked Madame why are you angry. I have had 2 experiences that were far from professional in my opinion the 1st one I just called but this one is enough. I'm new to Calgary so I downloaded the app prior to coming here. I set it up with payment card that's never worked on the app. Disappointed person here.

Took United cabs twice in the last week. The first one driven by an old gentleman was pretty good. But the second one from the Calgary airport was horrible because the driver, who is a big fat guy, obviously smoked in the cab. It is extremely unprofessional for a Taxi driver to make his cab filled with disgusting cigarette smells these days. Ironically there are "no smoking" signs all over the taxi. Plus he had been on a phone call with someone during the whole trip. Didn't show basic respect or make us feel safe. Because there's no way to know who is the driver to pick you up, this very unprofessional guy ruined the reputation of this whole company. We will never take a United cab again.

We have booked a cab the day before as we had an early morning flight and needed to leave home at 4am next day. The day of our departure, at 4:05am, I called to inform that the cab was still not here and they said “we are still trying to find someone for you”. I called again at 4:30am and they gave me the same answer… they didn’t really care if i miss my flight that day ! I ended being forced to use my car, park it at the Airport for 2 weeks and paying $270 for parking !!! All that because Calgary United Cabs were still “looking for a cab”. They never even apologized in any way nor made sure my problem was resolved. I do not recommend them and will never use them anymore.

Update: Would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT TAKE UNITED CABS. Absolutely rip off of a company. I had just arrived back home to Calgary from Mexico on December 18, 2022 at roughly 5:00 AM, and cab #1735 took my two friends and I to their house (stop 1) where they paid $35.65 + tip and then to my house (roughly 10 minutes away, where an Uber charge is $12.80). Cab #1735 proceeded to attempt to charge me $48.00. I told him that I'm not doing it and I had asked him to reset the meter when we had dropped my friends off. This can be confirmed with his dash cam. He then said he would do $35.00 to let me go and was rough to get my luggage out of the trunk.

Absolute rip off. I ordered a cab via the app. Quote was $25 or so. Metered fare was $27.38. I then got a text saying I'd save 10% on metered fare which meant it should have been around $25. I was charged $30.60. I called and asked why and was told the text didn't apply to me and I was charged a waiting fee. I waited on driver, not the other way round. Perhaps I should have charged him. Should have known not to use them. This is the same company that abandoned my daughter in downtown Calgary when someone jumped into her cab and when she tried to order another one they canceled her booking and wouldn't answer the phone to her. Absolute disgrace !

The dispatchers there are working like it is their punishment for something. They hanging up when you have a problem and are simply rude. Wheel from my stroller was left in the cab, I am flying tomorrow and from 5pm untill 9:18 I can't get in touch with a driver also they say they send him a message once and will not do it again. I should come in the morning to lost and found and ask. End of story. So probably I will have to buy another stroller, because of absolute lack of Professionalism of this company. Please never ever use them. Even if they are the last taxi on duty. Just wait for some good service, not a rude scams. Very disappointed

The drivers are usually very good, professional drivers, who will get you where you need, faster than an Uber. I was cut off on a dual left turn, when a Calgary United cab driver veered into my lane. This was after watching him speed ahead of me, while going between the two driving lanes, literally driving on the line. I reported this to the company, and still after two weeks, NO RESPONSE. Bottom line, mostly good drivers, real poor customer service. LIVERY NUMBER 21. An update: Management has reached out to me on Google review, but not responded to any correspondence since. Good luck with this place folks! Super bad customer service.

Very disappointing service. Booked a cab from saddledome to downtown Calgary this evening, received confirmation message with taxi number (377) etc. walked up to the taxi and he said he was waiting for someone else. Showed him the confirmation number and he still refused, driving off. Rebooked another taxi (14). It could not locate us, even though we had a direct location marker and called to confirm and give him instructions. He pulled over up the road, but sped away before we could walk to him. Received a call from the company, who sent another (377 again) who did not apologise or speak to us at all except to take payment.

Called the night before to schedule a van for a 5am pickup. By 5:20am it had still not arrived so I called to inquire. The person on the phone said if we had wanted one for 5am then we should've ordered it for 4:30am. I said I thought 5 ment 5. She was rude and said "well it doesn't!". We were worried about being late for our flight. A cab arrived at 5:30am. (Not a van!) Luckily our luggage fit. As we were pulling away another car was pulling up and called me that he had arrived. Totally disorganized organization. Not giving 1 star because our driver was very friendly but customer service on the phone was terrible.

Tonight I had a very big issue with cab# 1747 he picked us up from downtown and we needed a ride down to shawnessy area. He asked us for a deposit which was strange but we said okay. Half way to our destination he asked us to pay him more so he can continue the ride when I refused he stopped on Macleod trail at 2:45am and wanted us to get out. So we paid him some Kore money so we can get driven to a safer distance where we could walk from. Normally the cad ride is roughly $40 to get home but we had to pay him a total of $53 to not even get us home we still walked 1.8km home at 3am.

This is my first ever 1-star rating on Google Reviews. We got quoted $20 for our cab into the city and turned out to be $38. This wouldn't have been an issue if the driver didn't purposely go where the traffic was. I literally watched it on my Google Maps and his. Each time there was a quicker ETA he would avoid it. Then when I said "mate you're going the longest way" he tried to argue saying it was due to construction. But we all know how intelligent Google Maps is with helping to avoid this and he still went the worst way. Pure ripoff and would even consider his driving a scam.

Terrible company for service and production. Do not use!!!! Schedule taxis with another company they will tell you your cab will be pre booked and then call you and tell you at the time of pick up you will not have a ride. they were not able to tell Me how long the wait would be. So now I am late for my job. Not first time, they will not wait any longer than 1 minute and if they have to they will start yelling at you when you get into the ride which for a female was very uncomfortable . Refuse to ever use them again used them 3 times in 20 years and always had bad service

Wish I could give a 0, my elderly neighbor called for this taxi and on the way she fell hard on the snow and was lying there for almost 5 minutes till I went down to help but twh driver din even get out of the car and he ran away. Wow what a stupid service and service providers. Am not able to add a reply hence editing this review, I called ur customer service people to complaint they were really cold about this and asked me to mail. I have sent a detailed mail about cab reference number and everything on 20th December itself. I ahve not got a reply from there yet.

A very lackluster experience from the airport to home. Since it's been forever since I've used a cab I thought I would give it a try. I gave the cab the address and said I'm new in town take me to the location. Next I know we are on a wild trip taking indirect routes. What topped it off was arguing with me that there's such thing as A and B avenues and not streets. It was great for entertainment. I don't think I'll be using cab services anytime soon, but at least i validated the usual hustles are still real. 3/5 for the hustle. I did eventually get home.

First the driver intentionally turned off his phone GPS and pretending it was lost and keep asking me directions in spite address being provided and proceed to take a much longer route. How annoying. Second the taxi meter appears to be accruing charges about $0.04 per each 120m intervals. That’s an extra $9 for the the entire 27km trip. With all the GPS and tech available in this day and age, just calculate an acceptable fee you want to make and be up front to solicit a flat fee already, this type of customer experience is well, deprecating.

Yesterday i booked a cab the driver took a long route when i tried to talk with the driver and ask what route he is taking he did not answer my question properly then i make a call to dispatch they also did not respond to my complaint lastly i called supervisor he also did not give any response to my concern. I already talk with the hire authority that your driver took a long route to make extra money from my ride. For future customers booking with calgary united cab always plan your ride ahead of time as the drivers are not professional.

Hello Would like to file a complaint against cab number 1028 today at 5:30pm on 17th Ave. I was backing up parallel parking on the street and he aggressively honked at me backing up when I was no where close to his car (as you can see in the pictures). After I came back from my appointment the cab driver got out of his car and angrily confronted me and asked why I tried to hit his car. He then proceeded to follow me out of the street and honk at me again while I was making a turn. Extremely unprofessional road rage for your drivers.

I had the misfortune of spraining my ankle last week, and had to use a cab for the first time in many years. Amazing service from this company, right from downloading the app. It's very easy for an old non techy guy like myself to use. This week I got to call you again and again the same driver who picked me up the first time got me and such a wonderful man. I now know which cab company to call for ALL my transportation needs. Thank you very much to all the drivers and support staff for an amazing company. Best wishes to you all.

It's almost like you are flipping a coin when you take this taxi company because you have a 50/50 chance of getting a great driver who is polite and very helpful and makes you feel comfortable on your ride to your destination. Or you can end up with a driver who doesn't even talk one word to you is very ignorant and doesn't help you at all with any groceries and makes your entire ride extremely awkward and uncomfortable. So I guess if you want to take the risk but I tend to use other services now.

Take UBER !!! (Please save from posting your BS answer) The driver was OK and on-time though. Booked by website, the charge was between 15-17$. Ending at 32$ !!! No trafic, nothing. When asked about the price the driver said it was allways around 30$. Never 17$. Talk with Brab, supervisor. Was supposed to check with the IT about that and comeback to me. Never cameback even I left an email and a voice message. That was Jan 24th. And still today for the same ride it's showed 13-15$. Bad company.

I needed a ride to get to the airport on time. Dispatcher lied saying the guy was 12km away and would be 15 mins - She calls me back 10 minutes later and says “sorry! He’s actually around 20 minutes away now” I check the tracker and the dude is 28 mins away… This lady tried to Gas light me in front of my face and when I called her out she said “oops haha sorry for that!” Ended up cancelling and got an Uber in enough time to make it for my flight. This makes me never want to use united again…

Based on previous reviews, I loaded the app and it worked well. My only complaints with the app are that the rating system is hard to find and you can’t tip the driver after the trip. You need to set a standard tip ($ or %) before they end the trip. The service itself is what I expect from a professional taxi; the driver arrived early for a pre-scheduled trip, the ride was comfortable and safe, and, the driver was very nice about the fact that I couldn’t figure out how to tip him in the app.

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI SERVICE! I left my housekeys in one of their cabs (picked me up at my house), after countless phone calls and promises to ask the driver Noone ever got back to me, and then 3 days later a stranger entered my house using my key. My phone calls were not returned, police can't do anything, and the taxi supervisors refuse to return my call. If you use this taxi service you are putting yourself and family at risk as they clearly employ and enable criminals.

Our driver was quick to respond. Very careful (the fog was incredibly thick) and very friendly. Upon arriving at my destination (side of highway where I had to leave my truck due to zero visibility at the time and trying to rush to the hospital) he proceeded to check my vehicle to make sure it was safe to enter and drive. He literally risked his own safety to make sure we were all OK. I am very grateful for the selfless service given to us from this particular driver.

Going to the children’s hospital today one of their cabs 1204 was at a stop sign and pulled out in front of me causing me to slam on my breaks gave him a little honk and the driver slammed on his breaks and tried to block the road from me going around him he then started yelling and shouting abs throwing his arms around - he then followed me and laid on his horn . I tried to call in and was sent to “complaints” and he hung up on me . Unprofessional company !

This company is a huge rip off. I caught a ride with them yesterday and was charged $23 to get to a location on Blackfoot from inglewood less than a 10 minute drive. I usually pay $13-14 with Uber for the exact same route! It was an absolute joke!! I’m pretty sure the driver adjusted my total while I ran inside to grab the card and he was asking questions do I usually take transit how do I usually get there. Don’t waste your money. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

The cab driver that I had a couple of weeks ago was so friendly and very helpful he even helped me to the door with my precious Keenie of a 24/7 emergency vet clinic now that is what good customer service is all about going the extra mile doing something nice for someone instead of just dropping a person and pet off ignoring them during the trip to where you are going not helping and expecting a tip. The cab driver got a $7.00 tip from me.

Don’t use their app, looks like a scam. The total fare bumped by 40% from what shown during the booking and whats charged at the end of trip. Showed $17 when booking my ride, blocked $20 on card and was charged $26 at the end with some vague additional charges, which were hidden till end without any information. Though there was 0 minutes waiting anywhere in the ride. Update: No response to the email shared with customer service as well

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I booked a wheelchair accessible cab two days ago, and I got a call ten minutes before the scheduled pick up that they did not have a wheelchair accessible cab. So now a child has to miss out on an event because of United Cabs lack or organization. This is beyond unprofessional. I cannot even understand how a company could have this poor business etiquette. Go use any other can company.

My friend took their cab yesterday and left his bag in the back. We called the company three times and the dispatcher refused to follow up with the driver on a call. She said i cant give you his number, name, my name (dispatchers name), company address etc. One of the dispatchers even told me “im not the one that left the bag in the car, am i?” Seriously with immaculate customer service like this, i hope they go out of business.

Only go to my regular driver (80) NISSAN ROGUE ANU the best driver my former driver from DELTA CAB great service no problems at all especially the other nice guys I also liked is (1830) TOYOTA SIENNA and (1288) TOYOTA RAV 4 and this almost feels like riding the PHILADELPHIA TAXI (PHILADELPHIA UNITED CAB) Especially this company is great no different from CHECKER CAB OR ASSOCIATE CAB cause both run the airport stand

Cab driver 1046 picked me up after my company's christmas party and assured me his was the cab that I ordered. When I got to my destination he refused the company coupon and required me to pay the full cost of the cab, even though he'd confirmed that his was the cab that I'd ordered. Predatory business practices that take advantage of customers, absolutely disgraceful. This is why I use Uber.

They used to be good but not anymore. Last week I called twice automated to my home address ( I was waiting outside my apartment building for the cab to come. I waited from 8:30 to 8:54 for a cab to come). Third time I called them and this lady said she is sending a cab and the cab came at 9:10pm, my boarding was at 10:14pm. Thankfully I reached on time but never calling this cab anymore.

The cab driver was on time and got me to my destination very efficiently. However, because it was a very cold evening, I was looking forward to getting into a nice warm cab. Instead, it was very cold in the back seat. I complained to the driver. Although he did turn up the heat, it never did get warm during the half hour ride. I paid a lot for the service; I expected the car to be warm!

Use this cab twice in one evening, was charged waiting time twice when there was none, we waited outside for the cab. The website charged me $10.00 for a tip, must be a default as I did not choose this. Reported this several times to the accounting department and sent an email. No action was taken. Will not use this company again. Company replied to this post, but took no action.

Just had cab #1823 give me the finger due to his inability to correctly proceed during a through lane merge. Will never use this company if this is what kind of people they employ..... It was around 1pm Saturday and he was approaching the saddletowne circle. Update: glad to see followup after YOU asked for the details....This bad service is why UBER is #1 choice instead of cabs.

Taxi, the cab driver was very nice and asked me the way to my location. He may have already known or could have used GPS but I liked how he asked. "How do you usually get there? " I share the few simple turns to my location and we were there. No speeding and no red lights. To the drivers, remember to stretch. Sitting in your car too long is really bad on your back. Drive safe!

Yesterday I took a taxi from Walden to somerset Ctrain station due to rain and my experience was not good, but I normally stopped riding taxi due to the fact that some of the drivers of this cab will take you to the longest route possible to overcharge you. It’s wrong keeping people for long period in their car just to try to make a lot of money off from one person.

Booked a cab three days in advance and the rude dispatcher said I had no booking. She said she had no SUV so I have to take two cabs or cancel. She was the rudest person who also hung up on me. I had called one night before to confirm the booking. Stay away from these people who do not know customer service or how to run a business. Uber for now!

We called for a car from a different company and after playing telephone tag the driver wasnt going to make it, we had a schedule to keep because of a flight from the airport and we called United Cabs and got a driver in 5 minutes who got us to the airport pronto! And it was significantly cheaper than the company we had called before! Thank you!!

Drivers are unprofessional. Tried walking over to where the driver (Daljit) said he was. He didn't come to where I asked him to be. While walking over there on the phone with him, he picked up another customer instead and hung up the phone on me. Waited 25 minutes for him in freezing cold to show up and then he did this.

Cab driver took me completely out of the way and the longest route possible, including going through downtown just to hit every light possible to upcharge me. Avoid this company if you don’t want to pay double. Also if you don’t want to get car sick avoid this company as well lol. Wont be using this company again.

Calgary United Cab driver #1202 was super unprofessional pulled up to pick me up and refused to pull into the parking lot, but instead started waving me to cross the street while there were 5 oncoming cars. Then the second I got into the cab he asked if I had any cash on me, really unhappy with my trip.

He drove by a way longer route and I ended up paying double of what I usually pay in cab for that exact location! I paid Uber $22 on my way and came back in this cab paying $40! Then he want tips! We didn't have a ride home to Langdon. I called Calgary United Cabs and the customer service representative was great. Gave us a fixed rate. My husband and I found the price so reasonable. The driver, #5 cab, was very nice. Made our trip enjoyable. Highly recommended especially the cab #5

Holy entitled. Cab drivers. Delivery drivers. Just because your job is driving, car number 71 with united cabs, doesn’t mean you get free access to park where ever you want. That includes the middle of the street. I guess cab drivers don’t have brains or maybe just these particular ones.

Great cab service. Quick and efficient drivers, prices aren’t too expensive. Definitely recommend you download their app so that you can pay before your ride and track how far away your taxi is. It makes the whole process much smoother and then you don’t have to pay when you get out!

Worst cab ride ever!!! License plate A-16299 cab number 38. Driver was speeding 100km/hr in a 70 zone, then accused me "buddy come on" of not directing him to my house. I gave the address when i entered the cab. Calgary united cabs are terrible!!!! Never had this experience before!.

I booked my Cab in advance (on Oct 31) for Nov 1 @ 0715 am. Its 40 min drive from my home, it was snowy conditions but I didn’t get the Cab till 11:00. I had to cancel my flight as flight was scheduled at 11:40. Cancelled my trip to US and missed the conference unfortunately.

Awful service. I called a day ahead to confirm a trip for school students and was told 30 minutes before the trip that they cant make it. I was informed that they have many new staff in training but enough notice could've been provided. Never using their service again.

I used this cab company exclusively while I was in Calgary. They are very efficient, always on time and it's great that you can track your taxi when it's on the way to you. All the drivers I've met were all very nice and knowledgeable about the city. Highly recommend.
