The quality and taste of the food is amazing. Nothing fake or plastic here as everything is fresh and freshly prepared each and every day. Stopped by here on my way through Croydon, and I'm so glad I did. They do a mean HSP (bought a regular mixed HSP) and their service is polite and impeccable. This place is like a gem, the staff is extremely courteous and the owners are very generous. They even offered me some Tea with the slice of Coffee cake I bought which was too good. There's a lot of variety in the menu as well. Just tried Fish & Chips so far which were extremely good. Especially the homemade Chips.

Went this evening for good Friday. Had fish , home made potato cakes, crab stick and saffron cake . It was absolutely delicious. First time here and because they were so busy and it was a bit of a wait they gave the people waiting a bottle of chilled water and glass while we waited so nice . This will definitely be our take away from now on . The kebabs look Ed delicious as well will have on another occasion.

If you love grilled meat, and want to share between two or just really hungry, I recommend the grilled platters here. They do take 30min to prepare so I'd advise to call them up and order first before arriving to dine in. My favourite is the Mix grilled platter, which comes with grilled lamb, chicken and adana, rice, salad, grilled tomatoes, bread and 2 dips.

First time popping into Jerome's fish and chip shop just to grab a large chips and 3 potato cakes for me and the kids, Jerome was hard at work cooking up a storm and he also had the footy on the big TV, My chips and potato cakes were ready to hit the box and to be wrapped up to take home, To my surprise the potato cakes were massive and the chips were crunchy my three kids couldn't stop telling u how crunchy the chips we're. Amazing chips and potato cakes..

An excellent fish and chips for the locals. The staff was extra friendly and the food was delicious. The environment and atmosphere was very clean and cosy.

Was attracted because of the good reviews but my fish was not like the ones pictured in other reviews. It was all show, but inside was a thin chewy flake amongst a very thick coating of heavy oily batter. Maybe flake was the wrong choice of fish? Lemme know.? Chips were good.

Had a mix platter and it was amazing. Very authentic and the portion was huge. The lamb is actually lamb not mince like a lot of places use. Really enjoyed it and I'll be back for sure.
