We have been taking our cars to Jim and Andrew for over four years and have had the most positive experience. And yes, we're picky! My driving instructor first recommended them to me and what I really appreciated was the fact that they were open to my 100 questions which they still continue to respectfully answer. They are honest and transparent and say it as it is. We've taken both brand new and second hand cars to them without any issues. Their pricing is very reasonable but more importantly you know that your car is in safe hands. They have also helped us in choosing new cars and inspecting cars before we buy them. We have now recommended them to so many people and everyone that goes there never looks back! Except for those who are obsessed with being ripped off by new car dealerships who tell you that a warranty service can't be done outside of where they recommend. My car had a flat battery last evening and I couldn’t get it to run even till the service centre which is just across the road from my unit. I walked to them and asked for help. The gentleman in the office was so kind and understanding. He sent a staff with me to my car park the next morning to jump start my car to get it to run till the service centre. They replaced the battery immediately and I was relieved. Their customer service is outstanding and I’m a testimony to their service.

First time customer. Urgently needed a pink slip on a Friday evening and not only did they oblige they did so very politely and without a fuss! The car turned out to need some repairs. The team went above and beyond to ensure I had a car for the weekend, having a few guys working on it together to fix it before close of business. I had one car fixed by them recently. It was hard to find where the problem in the beginning. I went to Carlingford Automotive Service Centre several times. Every time they worked very professionally and kept the method to find the problem step by step. Before they finally found the issue, they didn't charge any fee. Finally they found the issue and charge less than $100 to fix it. Their work is just so professional and honest. Highly recommend.

Best mechanics in town, if not in Sydney. They are top professionals who really know the trade and will take the time to answer your questions. My '97 Forester has been running like a champ thanks to them and I try to check in with them every time I'm in Sydney. We've been going here for years. Started after Lexus said I needed new front brake pads. Went to CASC and they checked them. Yes the pads would be needed to be replaced...in about 2 years! Honest, reliable and know their vehicles well. Ladies, this is the place to go if you're worried about some unscrupulous other shops who overcharge for things you don't need. We take all our vehicles here and highly recommend them.

Serviced my car here for the first time. They had a cancellation so I dropped off my car at 9 and it was ready by afternoon. It was reasonably priced considering the amount of stuffs that needed fixed. Andrew even advised what needs to be done for next service. Overall, everything was done smoothly. Even sweet that the workshop is just opposite my home. Would recommend everyone in the nearby areas.

Very bad experience. Didn't diagnose the fault correctly. Didn't test it afterwards. Cost me $ 530 to fix a coolant leak and it didn't even fix. It was leaking more than it was before. They didn't even bother to test after doing the fix and I had to take the car back to them after few days. They refused to fix it for me. I had to go get it fixed from somewhere else. Waste of time and money.

First time here for servicing my car based on friend's recommendation. It seems okay so far. The only issue I have is there isn't any waiting area here - just one old sofa that literally can only fit one person and the cigarette smell is very strong which is very unpleasant for a non-smoker like me. If you plan to drop off your car, then it is fine I think.

had my subie checked as the check engine came on. went to other mechanic nearby and was told $85 for scanning. I came here and was told$45 but Jim only charged $25 just because I came back. was given very friendly and easy to understand explanation for why the light came on. drove away from the place relieved and positive minded. very good experience.

My partner came here with my car for a first time service here, my regular mechanic told me that it would not cost me more than $400 but since I have moved I sent my partner here. They have charged me $1000 and didn’t even do the job properly since they did not check my brakes AT ALL. As a buisness this is completely ridiculous and unprofessional.

I have been going here for years and never once have I felt ripped of like I have been at other mechanics. Great service, friendly and they never try to pull the wool over your eyes, if something needs fixing they do it at a great price and even show you the warn/broken part. I have been here twice. Once for a pink slip and other for an engine diagnostic test. Each time I received great service. They were comprehensive and explained to me the issues. I have always been weary of auto shops because of bad experiences but the team here have been really great and professional and honest.

I went there with no notice as I kept getting low tyre pressure warning even after refilling and resetting the system, spoke to Andrew and he straight away got his team to take a look at the car tires for a quick check. The team was super professional and friendly, the customer experience is top notch.

Used these guys for green slip checkups. Friendly staff. Even though I didn’t like my car being jacked up just from the bottom of engine to see wheel alignment etc, it all came out okay. I’d rather like to see the car fully carried up and gently treated.. But other than that it’s a great place I reckon.

Very trust worthy i now live in campbelltown long drive but i all ways bring my cars here and my mothers car, these guy do wonders when no one else will fix or say they it when they don't these guys will and will do it right and for the right price not dear at all i highly recommend HAPPY CUSTOMER :D
