It should be noted; this is the location for Carrum beach, next to the Carrum Surf Life Saving Club. The beach itself is gorgeous. With a shallow, undulating shoreline which, under low tide, means you can walk or swim to a very shallow sandbank roughly 250m from the main beach. Overall one of the most pleasant beaches along the Mornington Peninsula. A great place for families. On a warm, sunny day, it can be very crowded. Keep in mind you may need to park elsewhere; consider either Carrum Railway Station or the adjoining streets.

The new Carrum foreshore area looks really good after the recent level crossing removals. Has really lifted the area. The beach area itself is great for photography. Positioned good for sunset or to watch storms roll in off the bay.

Convenient location-close to dine in and take away to spend long time, adequate parking, shallow water level wide for long range, relatively clean....suitable for family with kids

Great place to park, eat a sandwich and stare at the beautiful bay. Can get a bit cluttered with cars but nice to just chill to get away from a busy day on the road.

The sky rail is the best thing that has happened to Carrum Beach for parking and access. Easy of traffic movement. Pedestrian access and safe crossings
