I could not be more shocked and disappointed with my experience at this place. We booked to get my 2 year old sons haircut. We have walked away with a blunt combover that finishes midway across his head. He looks ridiculous. I would be more accepting if he was restless and it created a challenge for the hairdresser - Maree. However in this case he sat relatively calm on his Dads lap and at no point was any comment made about his behaviour affecting his haircut and nothing was going to be said until a 'oh sorry' was offered once I pointed out the weird blunt lump in the centre of his head. Further to this to my absolute horror I witnessed a person who I was advised was the business owner forcefully cutting the hair of a 3 year old who was clearly terrified of her and the experience. Over 15 minutes I watched her loudly chase this child around the business with clippers, scissors or a comb in hand while he screamed, cried, tried to hide from her and clearly said he was scared over and over and over. I watched both her and his mother wrestle with him leaving large red marks across his body. His mother was clearly distressed with the situation and didnt know what to do. The child was beyond distressed and was doing his best to communicate yet this business owner, who claims to offer safe space that caters to the needs of all their clients, continued to chase down that child like a dollar sign rather than compose herself and question if this was the best choice for the child. Just because someone asks for their child's hair to be cut you do not need to do it. That child become nothing but a conquest to her. I truly hope that business owner takes time to reflect both on her conduct and her approach to cutting hair making it a little less about conquests and dollars and a little more about ensuring a calm and safe space for her clients, young, old and with all types of needs and abilities to get a haircut without developing a new fear. Safe to say I will NEVER return.

I have gone to the facility twice for my 2 year old haircut. Both times i got maria despite picking someone else for our 2nd appointment. I was not happy with the cut done the first time but i saw other girls working there and how they did the haircut and how they interacted with the kids so this is why I attempted to go a 2nd time. First time i went she only did a small trim and suggested i go every 6 weeks for a cut until my daughter her is straight as currently she had a lot of baby hair growing out. Which i agreed, and was ok with the cut she did. I just wasn't happy with her attitude as she complained that my 2 year old messed up her blowdry after she got off the boat and started playing. Like she is 2 years old not sure what she expected. The 2nd time i went i decided to book with someone else as i did see how the other ladies interacted with the kids and i loved it. My daughter also loved the environment there and it made it more comfortable with toys being around for her to play. Anyways this time i asked for her to be cut but like a big chunk so try and make her hair more straight. I did not bother me how short we went. She just did a very loose chop of the hair and that's it didn't check if it was straight didn't cut around just pulled all the hair to the back and cut it. Honestly not going back there again. Please note i did see how she cut a young boys hair that was before me and he too his hair looked like it was chopped and not cut with care..

First of all, I want to do a massive shoutout to Catherine, who went above and beyond just to cut my daughter’s hair. My daughter was in tears (hysterical) as she was so anxious and afraid of a haircut. She vomited whilst being cut. I was so apologetic and almost wanting to back out and throw in the towel in defeat. But they never gave up on my daughter and gave us reassurance that everything will be okay. Rather than pushing to have my daughter sit down on the chair. She thought outside of the box and gave my daughter a spray bottle and a comb and asked to “cut” the doll’s hair. My daughter began to relax and laugh and she began to do her magic working whilst my daughter was happily playing. Never have we felt unwanted despite all tears and vomit. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for this. I work at a daycare centre and will surely spread the good word to our parents to recommend your wonderful service.

We came in for our first consult with our four year old daughter with problematic hair. Catherine was kind enough to see us without charging for the experience and gave us advice about what to do with the expectation of seeing her again. We went back a couple of weeks later today to try and do what we could to salvage our daughter’s hair. We expected it to be cut to the quick that’s how bad her hair was. I’m so pleased to report that our daughter retained her hair after vigorous brushing out and careful cutting and final trim. We left with an extremely happy little girl with rainbow colour hair. Thank you Catherine for being so patient and kind with our girl and saving her hair. Recommend 100%

Awful, awful service. Walked in after making an appointment a week prior. Specifically told them my child is special needs and has a fear of hairdressers. We walked in and no one said hello, just told us someone would be with us shortly. After 45 mins and no updates, we walked around severely disappointed. I suggest you book in here if you have hours to sit around. As we were leaving, Catherine said she’d be with us after putting foils in a ladies hair…..she had just started and would’ve taken at least 15-20 minutes to complete the foil placement. Meaning we’d have been sitting around with an child for over an hour before being seen. Shocking customer service

I was very reluctant to take my son to get his first hair cut! My little one has a language and receptive delay so sometimes communicating with him can be difficult, Kelly who was the wonderful hairdresser to cut his hair was so friendly and welcoming that my son was able to enjoy the experience of having his first hair cut sitting patiently in the chair and giggling along to Kelly's gentle and caring touch. He felt comfortable as soon as he entered the hairdresser once he saw the bright colors and massive variety of toys. I will definitely recommend this business for anyone who is looking for a kids hair dresser! Thank you for such a lovely experience!

My son has sensory issues and has always had to be bear hugged to get his hair cut. It has always been a traumatic experience for everyone involved. As he is nearly 7 it is harder to hold him down so I sought out someone who specialises in children with sensory issues. My son would get his hair cut twice a year to reduce the trauma. I cannot express enough how wonderful Aunty Cath is!!! My son sat on his own, wore a cape, had the clippers and a hair dryer used without a single tear. Cath has a special language that makes the whole process pain free. It was worth the 30min drive and we will always be using Cath for haircuts from now on.

10/10 BEST salon I have ever been to, and if you are dissatisfied with your service there then you need to check yourself because the people working at this salon are amazing and wonderful humans. I don't trust many salons and I don't trust people touching my hair but they always know exactly what I want, how to do it and they don't take 5hrs to get it done like 95% of other salons. Also they have a section just for kids to get their hair done .. now I think that's bloody awesome!!

Took my 15 month old son for his first haircut today. I was very anxious about it all but I must say I am so impressed with this salon. Maree cut my sons hair and she was just amazing. Her soft, sweet and gentle approach made me feel at ease and the way she worked her magic was just simply amazing to watch. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am so glad I stumbled across this salon on the internet. Will definitely be returning for my sons future cuts!

Excellent service. My 3 year old never had a successful haircut and we have been doing his haircut at home . We had best experience here . The haircut was done in a jiffy. Other salons are not generally ready to cut his hair as he moves a lot while crying. But here the hairdresser gave us confidence and made us comfortable. We are happy that we have found a good place for my son's haircut in future as well. Can't thank enough.

Catherine and her team are amazing. They take care of my wife with cut and colour. My wife’s hair is always on point and both my kids get their haircut there too. We also manage to get my 2 year old’s hair cut and he hates getting his hair cut. The best part is there are toys for the kids to play with before and after their cut, so by the time we leave, they have forgotten about their haircut.

To say I am blown away is an understatement. Catherine is an absolute living angel! I knew it would be a truly difficult experience for my little lady getting her first haircut (at 4 years old) but Catherine handled it amazingly with her patience and beautiful, calming nature. She definitely has a new loyal customer that's for sure! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Oh my gosh Catherine is a life saver our 15 month old baby boy used to hate getting a haircut crying nonstop and fighting it ..but Catherine did an amazing job made him feel comfortable and the haircut was done in 10 minutes...highly recommend them...we finally found someone we can trust and feel comfortable with will definitely be taking our son there for his haircuts.

My daughter was super excited to go back to this place for her second haircut and I was really impressed with how the hairdresser was able to cut her hair in a very friendly and efficient manner full stop the whole setup is actually designed for children with a lot of toys and enough seating for several parents to sit down and wait. 10 out of 10 will be coming back

Excellent hairdressers and very professional. My little one had his first haircut this morning and was very chaotic to sit down. The two stylists Kiara and Maree handled him patiently, politely and completed an amazing cut in a matter of 15 to 20 minutes. Definitely recommended for children. They have a separate play area for kids to settle them down as well.

We have been taking our toddler here for almost 3 years now as he is on the spectrum and Catherine the owner is just amazing with him, shes very patient and careful! Has a great kids area with a seperate door, toys and tv with movies to help kids feel comfortable. We do have to book sometimes 2-3 weeks in advance but that just shows how good she is !

This is great. Staff are very nice. Catherine is a very experienced and lovely hairdresser. She also is great with children and has a children's section that the kids just love. My grandmother has been going to this place for a very long time and loves and respects Catherine a great deal. I recommend this hairdressers for all ages and hair types.

Brilliant. A place for both parent and child to get their haircut at the same time. There's a whole deocrated kids half of the shop with lots of toys and Catherine is especially experienced with giving the kids a good time and getting them to cooperate and not be scared. She has a real talent! Plus the haircuts looked amazing all round.

I have taken my toddler here twice and both occasions were a pleasant experience. They staff here are lovely and are great with kids! They have a whole heap of toys and books that kids can play with as well. The first haircut was done by Maree and the second by Catherine - both of them were friendly and did a great job!

The best haircut my son has had. Catherine not only had patience to cut my sons hair, she made it fun. He hates people touching his head and haircuts were a nightmare of screams and tears - not after leaving Catherine’s Cutting it, my son was full of smiles and I was full of relief at the peaceful experience.

It took me ages to find the right hairdresser after having the same one for ten years. I noticed that my colleague's hair always looked great and she gave me the contact details for CCI. I love their approach; I am happy to have any of them do my hair. Friendly, hard-working, creative team.

I went for my 1.5 yr old hair cut, she did well, but my baby was crying , twisting and turning. I wanted a little more short but she stopped saying that's how much she can do. I felt we could have done a little more short, as with this cut I might have to visit again very shortly.

Catherine does a great job putting toddlers at ease before cutting their hair. She explains the tools and the sensations to be expected from the razor and scissors, and ensures they are comfortable before proceeding. Will continue to come here for the near future.
