Shopping mall
"I love this place"
"A grand shopping complex on a most famous road with its historic background"
"I adore all the real growing gardens all around the area"
"My friend describes this as the 'nerd mall' which is actually kinda accurate"
"I love the architecture of the buildings surrounding the mall, but inside I find it cold"
I love this place. I go there every week but almost never to shop. I just like how multipurpose of a business facility it is, with GP and PT location, both regular food and sweet shops, massage/acupuncture store, hair cut store, nail salon, movie theater, as well as ample recreation outdoor space outside. Some of these are the lower basement level, which is partly outdoors. That area also has a bubble tea and sushi store, Woolies and Priceline Pharmacy. It is a really beautifully presented location with decorations and fairy lights both indoors and outdoors, and I still feel like I have not spent enough time there. A lot to look at while outside and it is a mere 15 minute walk from the Cleveland st business area in Surry Hills, which I also frequent.
A grand shopping complex on a most famous road with its historic background. Multistory and have hundreds of showrooms, supermarkets, stores and food court. One of most famous commercial place of Sydney. It is added with the largest video games and entertainment venue in the Southern Hemisphere, Fortress Sydney in to Central Park Mall. Enjoy your shopping in super shopping Woolworths. My health Medical Centre and Henry Moyer Pathology services are adding to medical services. Overall it's location is very ideal in Sydney City.
I adore all the real growing gardens all around the area. Vertical and horizontal and lots of different species.... There was a party vibe bean bags scattered great DJ with fabulous music that I related to the music from the beginning it was so fun... I was alone as is usual, but it was great people in costumes on stilts, roller skates, juggling, and beautiful ribbon skills connected to bright fans... Loved the diversity, its what makes Australia so special!!!
My friend describes this as the 'nerd mall' which is actually kinda accurate. Jaycar is great for hobbyists, Fortress is heaven for gamers and Daiso is kinda good for anyone. The restaurants in a kind of sunken garden are nice and the markets on the green above are small but worth visiting. The mall has changed a lot since they had an empty food court but changed for the better. The cinema there has very small theatres but still comfortable.
I love the architecture of the buildings surrounding the mall, but inside I find it cold. Perhaps done soft furnishings, music and strategically placed chairs would be a welcome addition. I get the feel that this place has been designed to get people to come in, do what they need and leave as sticky as possible. Outside where the restaurants area is delightful and one feels like staying. Just fix inside and this mall is a winner.
Cool place to shop, coffee or drink cool vibe for hanging out Get set for next level entertainment, shopping and dining from dawn till dusk and beyond at Central Park Mall. Over 40 retailers housing dozens of brands, designer fashion, diverse eateries and fresh game time experiences await. This iconic precinct is bordered by glorious green space for outdoor events, I love the vertical garden and spice Alley!
Interesting and lots of food choices. Parking difficult to find and not that cheap but I guess that's inner city. Palace Cinemas nicely decorated, lots of screens but 11 with a recently released film was small. Like the curtain draw back from the window after the film leaving an open Cinema, would like to see during the day now. Shot from banister is blurry as was freaking me out, all the glass, did not feel safe.
Excellent mall with quality shops, cinemas and good eating options. Palace Cinema located on the top floor and Fortress gaming across multiple floors. There is an Anita Gelato located by the entrance, Starbucks and the Hype store has awesome sneakers. There’s no parking at the centre and street parking can be difficult to find. Abercrombie Street is the best option when it’s not a clearway.
I don't come here for the mall as the options are limited but, bring your packed lunch or grab a bite and sit on the artificial or natural grassed areas, sun and shaded sections available. Marvel at the incredible building covered in a living garden and take a moment. Heliostats and panels reflect the sun during the day and have a light show projected on them in the evening.
Great place for daily shopping. It's not too crowded, which can be a plus. The Daiso here is great, as one can get household products similar to home. Many exclaimed that we should visit Daiso first before heading to other larger outlets. If you venture outside and walk along Balfour St. towards Cleveland St, one will discover art galleries. Feel the vibes if you slow down!
The building and surrounding area want this to be more than it is. Seems like they haven't been able to attract the right level of foot traffic to justify great tenants and haven't been able to attract the right tenants for good foot traffic. Escalators seem to be perpetually out of order meaning the lifts are busy despite the upper floors being generally under utilized.
Not the best shopping centre, very limited in range and rather high end for most of the stores. The only store I did enjoy was the Jaycar Store which was really cool as its interactive. A very nice shopping centre from an aesthetic point of view, or if you're rich and like those expensive, drip drip kinda stores. Also a nice park outside, good for a coffee for sure!
Extremely well maintained centre a stone's throw from Railway Square. A number of boutique shoe stores front Broadway and there is a Woolworths supermarket downstairs as well as a newly installed Return & Earn recycling machine. Pleasant contemporary design with public toilets located on the escalator-fed lower ground floor.
The shops are a bit sparse, not sure if this place is newly opened or not. The food court area looks great and they have a supermarket, cinema, and also a gaming centre. One of the shops on the ground floor has a very long queue. There's a back outdoor greenery area (same level as the supermarket) that has some restaurants.
So far so good, it's a small but confortable shopping centre, so it have many useful stores than can help you for a last time of the day purchase, also have priceline, Coles, the best gelateria, so good cinema, and something that help me a lot a manicure and pedicure store, also there's a commonwealth bank aswell
The facilities in this place are the absolute pits. Escalator has been broken for 4+ weeks, female bathrooms on level 1 are disgusting. Both soap dispensers don’t work, the toilets look like they’ve never been cleaned and there’s no toilet lids on any toilets to encourage a hygienic flush. Absolutely disgusting.
When are the barriers outside being removed? It stops pedestrian traffic and has caused so many accidents. You’ve had them blocking the road for more than 2 years!. And you should think about hiring better security to man the grounds. Times are tough and security should be something that is upheld.
I see this as a local cinema for me. It's well set out, offers a great range of films and the location is lovely. Staff are helpful and pleasant. I'm so sad that the pandemic has meant some of the associated attractions like the food court have closed. I hope that things will improve.
Pump It Up is a great workout, glad to see the machine getting fixed every time someone breaks it by stomping too hard. Sad to see the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade machine in poor conditions but it's understandable and even insane they're still running considering how old they are.
I love coming here. The Palace cinema is the best cinema in Sydney and the chairs so comfortable. Great shopping and food hall as well but like a ghost town during the day. However this is what I love about it. Away from the hustle and bustle but still at the gateway to the city.
Nice mall with some good eateries, the outdoor area is kinda dark and gloomy during the day, and can be weirdly deserted on a Friday afternoon. Empty/dark shop fronts on the street plus the surrounding construction going on (at the moment) makes the area seem like a bit dead.
Amazing building. Very inviting and green, although the plants growing can look a bit messy. The Palace Cinemas have a seating area with a lovely view of the park, which can be a nice relaxing area. Free table tennis tables on the second floor. Overall, a pleasant experience.
This is a great place for food as their food court has some wonderful dining options like Din Tai Fung, Ribs and Burgers and Max Brenner’s. The Palace Cinemas are new and offer a nice meeting point enjoying a drink overlooking the landscaped outdoors.
It started out good. However it's gone down hill especially since covid. The food court doesn't exist anymore, the over priced sports wear shop is there and a big shout out to the gift store upstairs who has survived. A great shop for unique gifts.
My kids loved to come to this shopping mall because of an icecream shop "ANITA". In the basement floor, you can visit supermarket "Woolworths" and access to Central Park directly. Also you can find a game center and food court on the upper levels.
The great thing about this place is the Japan Foundation, which has a little library where you can read Japanese Manga! Also, the Saturday market added some fun with food stalls, a great selection of fresh produce, and live music …
Lovely mall - design is first rate, good selection of shops & easy to navigate. Close to the city & has a nice green park out the back. The only con I find here is the men’s toilets. The design of the toilets is such that there is nowhere
Wheelchair accessible with lift access to floors. The only annoying thing is they lock the accessible toilet on G floor at a certain time. They put a sign up saying it's 'out of order' but I am sure that is just because the security don't
Used to come here all the time when I worked in the area to have lunch. Now all the takeaways have disappeared, but the other shops were still there. We went to the movies. The theatre was small, but the screen was a good size.
Was my go to shopping mall over 2 years. Love the place. The Daiso, Woolies, priceline and red cellar are open at good times so I always found what I needed. Not to forget the shopping during the sale season was great too.
Greenery to another level. All buildings need to learn from this. Good restaurants and a play area for kids too. Top floor has some fun zone area as well. Shopping isn't the best in options perspective but not too bad.
Good for those that love to shop for clothes and shoes. I recommend the Hype DC store on the first floor. Also good for those that love grocery shopping. One can see a Woolworths if they take the escalator down.
The place has a lot of potential, but under refurbishment or it seems so. Wish there was an area where you can sit and talk, meet, read. As of now it's pretty inconvenient. Hopefully it will be revived a bit.
Not a bad shopping centre. Great location and the place looks good. It's not big but it has enough variety of shops, restaurants and food courts inside. There's a nice park just outside one of the entrance.
Pretty good park, I like the atopmoshere around here and all the green space they have as well. I just wish they out some more wooden park benchs in shaded areas since the existing spots fill up fast.
A splendid Mall, a contemporary and chic decor in keeping with nature that is present everywhere, both indoors and outdoors. Beautiful shops, an eclectic selection of items. Great, I'll come back.
Heard about Anita's for a long time and finally tried it, didn't disappoint. Fav flavours to date are Pistachio and Belgium dark chocolate. Open late but parking isn't the best in the area
Good convenient location with variety of shops, banks, ATMs and various restaurants. Handy to have woolworths. Food court has a good mix of restaurants but expensive. Not much lunch deals.
I really love this place and even more so when you get to the basement to see the wide variety of restaurants you can find, such as burgers sushi desserts etc etc …
it was a fun place to dine, ever since covid started a lot of restaurants are forced to close. and since then a lot of renovation site can be spotted. but still a great mall.
Great selection of restaurants has a woolies, the top level has the new Palace Cinemas which are fantastic highly recommended. Plus a state of the art time zone! Very cool.
The future of urban living! This is a remarkable building, in the middle of a concrete jungle. There are various retailers throughout, as well as some great food stores.
Now that fortress is here, we will be visiting a lot more! A very limited selection of shops, wouldn't intentionally come here for shopping... However it is not crowded.
A must see in Sydney. The green building is beautiful and in the adjacent streets you'll find great cafes and the "spice alley" come with amazing Asian food.
The Daiso provided lots of daily essentials. Another shop sells computer añd accessories. Some shops are not opened yet at point of visit on 6 Jul 2022
Great spot for a visit. Lovely fake grass, no allergies or anything. Lovely creature comforts. Has a Daiso and lots of food, what more would you want?
Awesome location in the CBD, UTS Campus & all transports from buses to trains & taxis & all kind of eateries to enjoy your pallates …
From Daiso to some chic stores. It's a very interesting mall. The interior decor is beautiful and there are apartments attached to the complex.
What ay beauty. A great piece of architecture. This is one of my top favourite buildings in Sydney. It is the best one. A must visit. ❤ …
Well planned building some great retail, plenty of food options, includes a Woolies and a very good bottle shop. Extremely well maintained.
great place to hang out with friends, a nice park behind it, across from Central, on the edge of UTS and the trendy spots of Chippendale
Definitely worth visiting ! Especially Blush Cosmetics, they have all the Japan and Korean Cosmetics we saw at Japan and Korea
Always a delightful pass be to go shop Never to many people running around the place Store are varied and actually useful.
Popular for Woolworths, Daiso and the Cinemas. The LG level has a great food-court amidst a beautiful outdoor setting.
It's okay. High hopes are being maintained. Always something broken. Two pinball parlours! One serves alcohol! Omg.
Not a bad mall. Wonderful for a between shift shop. It's also one of the architectural gems of 'new Sydney'.
Shopping + dinning + toilets + grocery + inside/outside areas + nature = perfect for all times and purposes
outstanding place, great place for shopping and big architectrial building makes me stunning and surprise
Love this place for all types of Asian food. Unreal good create your own laksa at Fresh & Hit Ma La Tang
It's a beautiful building, it has some restaurants, bank, supermarket, eletronics store, gift shops...
Great shops and restaurants. Cinema Bars Close to University of Technology. Good links to transport.
Got everything you need. Location is great. There are plenty of restaurants and clothing stores.
Trendy modern inner city mall. Well maintained with a selection of fashion stores and eateries.
Shops expensive, Broadway has more variety and cheaper. Toilets locked at 6:30am. Poor service.
The woolies and clothing stores are pretty good but I miss the great food court
Very few shops in this place. I only go there for jaycar and daiso
The most boring shopping centre as there's not much shops inside
No parking ,Lack of banking facilities, couldn't deposit into atm
In the building have mini market, pharmacy and wine seller.
Well placed comprehensive shopping experience in the city
Its a place that you don't even know that it was there
They close very early but friendly and a good site.
Everything you may need. Nice and realistic mall
Great location filled with nice eateries
Nice spot to go eat play games or drink
Great for Japanese expats like my wife
