This is an important place, for the part of West Melbourne's development and history. Famous for amongst other things, the development of an Airplane ✈️ now sitting in the entrance to Central West, is an actual WW2 fighter plane, place to see an original. The aircraft, was manufactured in Braybrook. Once seen as one of our nation's most industrious area's, along with Aircraft in Laveton, RAF / RAAF - Royal Australian Airforce origins can be found, right here in a peaceful and humble corner of suburban West Melbourne, Victoria. Now home to a residential area with little to show, of how this area once played a major part, in shaping the aviation industry, which was grown from this land, to where it's now.. all but a memory. Home to a shopping centre, once home to the workshops, our forefathers, renowned for vast improvements, technology delivered in many varied stages, masters of the aviation industry & many wide reaching development's, which if you're ever near, maybe you'll hear an echo.. from a time, when Australia truly, was the lucky country, where pioneers could be found, on every page of any map... go see it and maybe, you'll hear the sounds, experience it for yourself.

Every thing is here that I need,bank,aldi, coles,chemist, the wonderful "New" post office and excellent staff, the friendly people at the Butchers, two Coffee shops with quality coffee and food at both, recharge or buy a phone at the little shop on the corner opposite one of the coffee shops, all the wonderful girls at the hairdressers, also the great service at the video/ music store, there is a good selection here too, last but not least the Asian bakery, terrific food, rolls,bread,pies, pasties and sausage rolls,pork rolls or Vietnamese roll, wonderful These are the shops I use, there's other shops here as well and I'm sure they are good too. Then at the Ashley St. end of the car park there is a terrific selection of take away food shops, and a TAB and a hand car wash! All in all, a pretty great shopping experience to be had!

This shopping centre is very handy for doing the grocery rounds. They now have an Asian grocer and Sacca's Fine Foods as well as Aldi and Coles so you can just about find anything you need food-wise. Nice little cafe near the main entrance. ATMs, post office, music store, gift shop, florist, Dimmeys, plus more. A convenient central hub with an impressive number of outlets for most needs. Also has a gym and take away food joints. Plenty of parking.

With a chemist, ALDI, Coles, deli, large fruit & vegetable, post office/newsagent, butcher, bakery, phone shop, music store, cakes & coffee, nails, eyebrows, massage, clothing, florist, homewares & children’s activities you couldn’t ask for more. On the other side of the parking lot you have a variety of food vendors & car wash. The prices are reasonable in each store.

I go here when I'm in the area and need to make a stop at Coles, Aldi or Asian market. The Asian store in Central West has everything you'll ever need to cook up some Korean or Japanese cuisines. They have really tasty Korean dumplings and Asian ice-cream. They have a whole section of ramens and everything you'll ever need to cook up a storm.!

Not a bad local shopping centre. The Aldi has recently been renovated and looks great. The coles is pretty ordinary, not a lot of produce and doesnt appear as fresh. Can get some good buys at the large greengrocer there, but again the produce wasnt overly fresh. Better off heading into sunshine or highpoint.

Acceptable smaller suburban shopping precinct. Shame the layout combined with the centre constantly allowing all sorts of annoying spruikers to get in the way and really obstruct you, ruining any positive experience you have going grocery shopping here. You really feel it's a chore entering this place.

Doesn't have much shops...but the place to go for groceries, meat, fruit and veg. Convenient and has all I need to stock up my kitchen plus. Also a little self pampering after (or before) shopping, with a haircut, mani and pedi for a very reasonable price. Why pay 20-40% more just because the postcode

Parking was relatively easy or maybe I just got lucky , centre itself is clean and tidy not a very wide variety Of Shops . But if it's food you are after they have pretty much everything a butcher and a serious Grocer along with Coles. Toilets were neat and tidy couldn't fault anything thanks

Not the largest coles store but adequate isles have good signage but limited selection of product brands rather large Carpark also Forges/Dimmeys store next door also a popular and cheap patisserie with cakes pies Vietnamese rolls coffee all in the one store which I highly recommend

This shopping centre has everything you need in a small shopping centre from my go to Aldi to my bank branch to the fruit and veg shop, coles and the asian store. The parking spaces are massive which is a big bonus! But I wish that the boba tea place is actually open and operating.

Great little shopping strip,nice an clean fact about it,,the Toilets were very clean ,big surprise, in these areas ,but good shopping ,friendly people in the shops ,great bit of service in Coles a young bloke at the check of ,was good for busness in any mans store ,regards all,

I go here to shop at dimmeys but one thing i have noticed every time ive been there is you have to be so careful at the pedestrian xing near the aldi as so so many people are on their devices and just walk on to xing without a care in the word or looking where they are goin.

Ugh this must be where I get my bad karma back at me BUT the most amazing post office, staff are the best, an incredible butchers, wish I ate more meat, Asian Grocery store very understaning of my Mums hearing issues , greengrocers very good, Coles a Dark Souls level...

Great convenient shopping centre with the right array of retail shops that make this place a one stop place for most things including Australia Post, Aldi and Coles, as well as a decent green grocer. Nice Viet restaurant in the area too.

This shopping centre services a large percentage of the surrounding communities. A variety of stores inside the centre such as clothing shops and food, Comonwealth bank is here with outside ATM's. Coles store is open until midnight. No

Wins out over Altona Gate for daily grocery shopping because Saccas, Aldi and Coles are easier and quicker to access. Maribyrnong Aldi and Yarraville Coles are better stand-alone stores, but they're not in the one convenient location.

A nice place to pick up some reasonably priced goods. Parking is free and it's generally not too hard to find a place to park. There's nothing too luxurious here. It's just an average shopping center, with some great discount stores.

Went there to rummage at Dimmeys currenrly having Closing Down sale. I think Ive come a tad late as there wasnt any great variety left. But for value for money the place os tops. Everything at half the already ridiculous discounts.

Has a fabulous fruit & veggie shop Has everything you need plus some groceries. The bakery is also coffee shop so you can have a snack there as well, right next to Aldi. Plus all the other shops a well designed small shopping centre

I love this shopping center because it has the right mix of convenience store, Asia store and fresh produce store. Central West shopping center is not too crowded and has ample parking. There is a Coles, Aldi, hairdressers and ATMs.

We do our grocery shopping here. Produce at saccas, fish from the fishmonger, meat at the butcher, then to aldi, and lastly Coles for anything else we need. Great having our favourite stores in one place, and its never overly busy.

Nice, pleasant and clean place to shop. Looks like a bit of effort has been spent on updating the place so it is a nice experience in the main shopping centre. Carpark is huge so there is usually no problem getting a parking spot.

Another small place but you can do almost everything in just one place, veggies and fruits, Coles, Aldi, butcher and fish places, coffe, flowers and Asian market, chemist, bottleshop, laundry, commonwealth bank and other options.

Not to bad has a few banks and few clothes stores ,if ya want ya nails and eyebrows wax it is amazing how many women actueally go get their nails done the shop was full . Great fruit and vegie shop great prices as well .

Everything you need for groceries. Free parking and easy to get parking spot too. There's Aldo , coles and fruit and vegies shop with good quality at the really reliable price. Also asian supermarket that has everything.

Has ALDI, COLES and Sacca's, great for an all round weekly shopping. It also has a post office,separate butcher, fishmonger, asian grocery and other services. Love it because it's nice and compact, all in one stop shop.

You know I liked this place. Coffee was good, there's a Cole's, an Aldi a busy greengrocery. It's very convenient for the bus. A number of shops have shut in the retail downturn - a bit sad - but a happy enough crowd.

Missing toilet paper, hand sanitizer. They should be more efficient to assist customers. Either order more or have a system where people can equally use those items. Poor management. However, customer service is good.

Good place for shopping with variety of options. Sacca's have a wide variety of Asian vegetables and fruits. They also sell fresh orange juice for reasonable price. Aldi's and Coles available for general shopping

Coles is a bit smaller and has less range than some others in the area, but the fruit and veggie shop near Coles is good and attracts people from all over. Tried breadfruit from there and other unusual fruits.

Stopped by to post an item in the mailbox and to use the bathroom. Visited here a few years ago and it has been renovated. Small but useful shopping centre with a supermarket and good fresh food outlets.

Excellent shopping centre with a great range of stores. Today I only needed Coles, TSG and the chemist but I can definitely see using this as one stop centre for most things. Will return for sure.

No pork only in supermarket, butcher has turned into halal rubbish, and be careful at night very dangerous area, many go in and never return, there has been many stories out there many un heard

Not a bad little shopping centre pity about management there as i would say they charge their tenants like a wounded bull giving it like not that much variety, each time i go there I expect

Great place to get all i need. Love having an aldi and coles. Fruit and veg place is great. All 3 shops have lovely helpful friendly staff. My bank branch is here too. Plenty of parking too.

I requested full facial hair removal and I keep telling the technician about patches of hair she left as she did not do it evently, also she did not do properly the eyebrows

Small but a good place to shop. Newsagent come post office come tattslotto agency always made to feel very welcome. Staff are great. Plenty of places to eat all good.

Bonus here is coles opens later than surrounding coles. Has everything except you need to do banking, groceries. I can say it is safe even towards the night hours.

It’s ok. Coles and Aldi under the same roof along with a decent chemist and Post office. The butcher has fresh meat but it’s a little more expensive.

Small but has most shops even a post office. But they have a rare CD shop there so anyone looking for a nostalgia hit should take a look.

Can't comment about this too much. Nice variety of stores. We only went to T.J.Max and got a quick bite. Will go here again for sure

It's Aldi. Aldi is good but the supply chain has let them and thier customers down. Too bad our government hasn't got a plan .

With all the necessary stores nearby and convenient parking, it keeps getting more and more beautiful—highly recommended.
