Come in today with what seemed like a new staff member who served me, with such a bright, positive and welcoming attitude, and very patient and polite! I believe her name was tahlia?? Nice to speak with someone positive and welcoming staff and reminding me of how genuine people can be if they choose to be! considering the blunt and cut short responses I ever get from the main desk from management. Feels like breathe of fresh air, seems like some of the elder staff members are complacent with there job and need to learn a thing or two about positivity or greetings from these new staff members!

Every single time I have bought meat from here it is putrid! It is discoloured and can tell its past its expiry, should not be on the shelf for sale! The way they pack the meat is so you can't see the discolouration. I have complained to staff about this and the Blonde girl at front counter was very rude and said thats the way meat is meant to be when I requested a refund...... ! Will absolutely NEVER buy meat from here again. Step your game up IGA, With your products and STAFF!

Reasonable range of supermarket products, including a better range of vegetarian and vegan food than other nearby supermarkets. However, check the dates on baked goods, on two separate and consecutive occasions I have bought such products that I considered to be stale, and proved to be nearly a week old. Also watch out for sealed refrigerated goods that have become mouldy, and the meat aisle has pink fluorescent tubes that make spotting older meat more difficult.

This supermarket, which has grown from a small store years ago to a fantastic supermarket that stocks just about everything you could want. Very well set out and stocked meat, deli and vegetable departments. Extremely friendly and helpful people working there who will help you with everything with a smile. Prices are very competitive with the major supermarkets but with a much more relaxed environment.

Friendly, well presented and well mannered staff. Spotlessly clean store. Excellent range of product in every department with well extended use by dates on products such as dairy and packaged refrigerated items to ensure freshness. I do not live in the area, however I do shop at the outlet weekly. 5 stars are hard to earn. Richly justified here. Keep up the top overall excellence!!!

Advertising delivery, took them from Saturday 15/01/22 when order was made to notify on 17/01/23 @ 6:46am that they have changed the order from delivery to pickup...wanted to keep to local business but this is ridiculous. There's no local spirit. After I wrote this an employee called Linda called and was so helpfull, thankyou Linda for restoring my faith in IGA Whittlesea

What a great super market. It should be called an awesome market. All you need plus locally made sausage rolls in the deli. Go on...av a sausi roll...you'll have to go home and bake it but they're good and tasty. Bottlo next door. Av a beer with ya sausi, you deserve it. Edit. They're called "mini strudels" for some reason.

Expensive meat and not very fresh vegies for the most part I only go there if I have to. Unfortunately, the next nearest supermarket is 30 to 40 minutes drive away. The staff are friendly ,its a shame about the quality of produce really. One wouldn't mind more expensive if they had the quality ...

Well laid out store very clean and tidy great number of bakery items on the shelf plenty of stock on the shelf fairly well priced items Girl on the checkout without a name badge did not have much of a interest in what she was doing but was keen to finish our order but we will go back to the store

Surprisingly good variety and selection, especially the deli & meat section.. well a lot of them really. Some items you don't find in Melbourne and friendly service with a liquor shop attached. A more varied selection of hot food, good cheeses and all the standard stuff you'd expect

If all IGAs where this good there would be no need for the bigger competitiors. You pay a bit more but the quality over quantity rule applies here. Great fresh produce, and excellent range and friendly staff. The store is always clean. Ample parking at the quit times.

Too much pandering to smokers. you can wait up to 15mins for check out person to leave and come back with cigarettes for person in front of you. Should limit cigarette purchases to cash registers closest to smoke counter. Needs a red recycle bin for packaging

Massive IGA with lots of stuff to choose from, it’s got really long isles similar to if it was a Coles store. Rare to see IGA stores that are so big. Recommended to have a look of you need something from a supermarket and driving through Whittlesea.

Small town supermarket. Priced accordingly. Bigger than most local supermarkets. Range is not conclusive but big enough. We travel to a bigger supermarket for our bulk shopping. But handy for an item or five.

Only supermarket in town. Good place to pick up stuff. A bit expensive so I buy meat at butcher down street and veggies across road. A great asset to town though. They keep long hours and service is good

I go there as much as possible if I need to get groceries. Even though the prices are a bit high and they don't hold as much stock, the service is excellent. The young man Elli is a lovely kid.

Great little country supermarket with variety including; continental, asian, and some organic groceries. The deli is well stocked with products ranging from French cheeses to Polish sausages.

Always tidy and well stocked shelves. Service was fast and professional. Prices here are very competitive and there are regular bargains to be had. Recommend a visit here for your groceries.

One of only a few supermarkets that sells Lenard's Chicken products. We found a wide range of not only Lenard's but most products in this store. Well stocked with plenty of helpful staff.

A large 'Super' IGA which acts as the main supermarket for the Whittlesea township. Wide selection of products at fair pricing with weekly specials. Sells tasty roast chickens too...

Always Fantastic Service. Great store managers and all staff. If you are driving through Whittlesea, pop in and grab a few bits for your BBQ, Picnic. Roast Chooks are always handy.

I find pricing reasonable, fruit & veg at a price that shows a fair price back to the farmer. Better variety of items than others too - not limited. And nice staff as well.

This supermarket is large enough to still have a reasonable range of products, but small enough to have a country local feel. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Although several suburbs from us we love making the trip to IGA whittlesea monthly. Lovely clean store, exceptional staff and a good range of quality meats and wine.

Meat is so fresh as are the veggies. Staff are always friendly, only diwn side us cost is a little more expensive.
