I DON`T KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE SAYING THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY BECAUSE EVERY TIME I WENT THERE THEY ACTED AS IF IT WAS A BOTHER TO WAIT ON ME! ALSO THEY SPEAK TO YOU IN A VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL MANNER AND I EVEN BOUGHT A BICYCLE FROM THEM ONCE. MAYBE THEY FORGOT ABOUT THAT! I FINALLY GOT FED UP WITH THEIR OFFENSIVELY IMPOLITE AND ILL-MANNERED BEHAVIOR AND STOPPED GOING THERE ALTOGETHER ESPECIALLY SINCE MY LAST VISIT THERE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF ALL THE PREVIOUS TIMES I VISITED THAT BIKE SHOP IN THE MANDARIN AREA OF JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA WHEN THE MANAGER OF THE STORE GOT VERY UPSET AT ME BECAUSE I DIDN`T BUY A OVERLY PRICED ITEM THAT HE CHECKED ONLINE FOR ME AND THEN HE STARTED RAISING HIS VOICE AT ME AND SAYING THAT I OFFENDED AND INSULTED HIM BY NOT BUYING THE ITEM AFTER HE CHECKED THE PRICE FOR ME ONLINE! THESE PEOPLE CARE NOTHING ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ALSO ARE VERY POOR SALESMEN! I EVEN INFORMED HIM AS I WAS LEAVING THE STORE THAT HE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS BUT HE DIDN`T CARE WHAT I SAID AND WALKED AWAY FROM ME! I`AM USING ALL CAPITAL LETTERS IN ORDER FOR PEOPLE TO EASILY READ THIS REVIEW AND THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING FROM THIS LOCATION!

Purchased a Cervelo P2 this past weekend from the Mandarin store. Prior to the purchase I had called both the Mandarin and the Beach store to get information on what they had available. I spoke to several different people including Jonathon, Chris and Paul. In each case they took the time to answer my questions and never made me feel rushed. Jonathon at the Beach store in particular gave me lots of information on a number of technical questions I had regarding some of the bikes I was considering. I finally decided to buy from the Mandarin store because it is closer to my home. I called and talked to Chris and Paul to arrange a time to come in and get the bike I wanted. When I arrived, the bike was ready and Chris provided all the help I wanted to dial in the fit. I was very pleased with the service I got, the price I paid, and the other benefits that are included with a bike purchase (90 day check up, accessory discounts, etc). I highly recommend Champion Cycling. Thank you Chris and the rest of the Champion team.

You only have one chance to make a first impression. I called to ask a couple simple questions. After asking the first one and getting an abrupt, curt answer I paused before beginning my next question and the man cut me off and told me he didn't have time to answer questions, he had a store full of real clients to process. I mean, I'm glad business is good, but don't snap at me for asking something about a product or service you offer. You answered the phone so it's reasonable to think you had a minute to answer something. Instead, offer to take my info and call me back when it's more convenient, maybe? I totally understand if the store is busy. I do not understand how rude you were. I want to support a local business when I buy a new bike in the next few days. I won't be supporting Champion.

Customer Service in an age where this has gone by the wayside is top notch here at Champions! I drive from Julington Creek past a local shop that we had previously bought 5 bikes from before finding the exception service from all staff (Jack is incredible and acts as tho he is owner), and will drive the extra distance for this and the savings they provide. Quality bikes, quality care, and quality repair or upgrades done many times while you wait or in a timely manner. Thank you to Jack for the last couple times of his personal assistance with my sons bike and when we needed tune ups prior to our camping trip!!

Tuneups, repairs this shop has kept my bike going the past year. Mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable. Dave and Seth are the main people I run into at the shop and they do a great job. Happy to support the local bike shop, I have bought some garmin supplies from this shop: garmin vector power meter, computer, sensors etc... Good place to buy some fuel for rides. Also every Saturday there is a group ride road bike ride at 7am an easy ride and a hard ride. After the ride the bike shop is open and you can buy any new stuff you might need.

service guy was rude and cursed at me because I asked him to exchange the tube they gave me (wrong size) for the right size. This was prior to me ever leaving the store with it. He told me that it would stretch in to which I replied I would just simply rather have the proper size. I questioned his demeanor and foul language. As he handed me the right size tube, he said that that's the way they talk to each other in California where he is from. Sorry "dude", you are not in Cali anymore. Maybe you should be

I live in St. Augustine Beach and yes we do have bike shops but none of them made me that feel so incredibly comfortable and as Champion Cycling. Jack, Seth and Dylan went above and beyond finding me the absolute perfect road bike. They were kind and patient with my indecisiveness between buying a road bike versus tri bike. Their communication and knowledge was the perfect balance to get me on the bike that many future exciting adventures will be made on! Thanks Guys - I have found my Bike Shop!!

I just stopped by the shop because I had an old bicycle that I thought would need new tires. Dylan offered to assist me in bringing the bicycle in. He checked the tires and found them to be in working condition but needed a minor tweak which he took care of. He then helped me put the bicycle back in the car and didn’t charge anything. This shop has a nice selection of quality bicycles, a great repair shop and very a positive atmosphere. I’m so glad that they are in my neighborhood!

I walked in with a bike that hasn't been ridden in over 5 years and I was wanting it checked out and serviced. Jeff B. was behind the counter and greeted me right away and asked what I needed. I told him and he then proceeded to tell me what all they would do and then he put it on a stand and did a quick check while I was there and said that barring any real problems, it should be ready on Tuesday. Today is Saturday. I am really pleased so far. We shall see the results later.

We walked in, Looking for information about some different bikes, not looking to buy right away. Jeff asks us "can I help you?" We responded with "well we just need some info on some bikes". Jeff then says, "are you going to buy a bike" we responded with "well not today but we want to do some research first". He then says "well just come back when u are ready to buy a bike". Incredibly rude and we will not be coming back. Your a salesman, do your job.

My boyfriend and I went in this weekend to purchase new bikes. The staff could not have been more helpful! My boyfriend is 6’5” and they were able to make sure he got a mouton bike that fit him comfortably! They helped me out with getting every detail I asked for in my bike. We have nothing bad to say about this shop! They will be getting our service for years to come. If you’re in the market, stop by. You will not be disappointed.

Not the friendliest of staff on the phone or in person. The kid working there tried to be helpful, but only after prompting from the guy in the back. The customer conversations that I overheard with swearing were unnecessary and ultimately helped me make the decision to leave the store and not buy anything. Not sure if the owner condones that, but he didn’t try to stop it either. I’ll find another shop to do business with.

Terrible, Terrible service. The servicemen there were rude and seemed to exude a holyer than thou sport biker attitude. I totally understand that sport bicyclists think their chosen sport as a great calling. But it totally deters every other type of athlete who utilize biking as an extention to their training and the every day hero who just dont want to contribute to the mass of carbon monoxide producing cars.

Excellent customer service and bike service is found here. We moved to Mandarin in 1979 when Champion Cycling opened and they've been our go-to bike shop since that year. Whatever the problem, Champion can solve it and they have done. Each year they tune up my bike for the summer or the fall or whenever I'm ready to hit the road. They will always be my family's bike shop for as long as we remain here.

Champion Cycling and Fitness in Marndarin is fantastic! Everyone there is friendly and very helpful, however, Catherine goes above and beyond to make the bike buying and repair experience easy. She also hosts ladies only rides and events that focus on bike maintainence and repair which are extremely helpful. She is wonderful and I highly recommend working with her in the shop!

Awesome place to get bike serviced. I called New Years eve 30 min before they closed trying to get my son's bike fixed they told me to come on in. They did not have the exact replacement part but he was persistent to fix the bike so he would not disappoint my son. He stayed a few minutes late to make sure his bike was fixed. Highly recommend them for all your biking needs,

I've been purchasing bikes here for over 20 years now. The staff is always super helpful and understanding of my needs. I just purchased a bike for a foster child we learned doesn't know how to ride. Since she's too old for training wheels, the guys took the pedals off so she can learn to balance by gliding. Then they will put the pedals back on when she's ready.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. They could have suggested replacing a much more expensive setup and instead they custom ordered the failed part directly from the manufacturer (talking about replacing and entire crank set vrs. just the crank arm that I needed.) Saved me a ton of money and I'll be back on the trails again shortly. Very impressed.

Phil worked on my Airdyne exercise bike, and I am extremely happy with the work that he did. I have an older Airdyne that he did a tune up on, replaced chain, reconnected the computer that wasn't working and put on new hand grips. Phenomenal shop. They are so great. I came in for a piece to put air in my tubeless wheel. Not only did they find me the piece not normally sold for cheap but they gave me guidance on how to maintain my bike better while in Fl. Cheers to them. A true MTB lovers paradise. Will definately come back for return business and to service my cannondale.

We have gotten a kid’s strider and my Husband purchased his mountain bike from this store. The staff is friendly, and they don’t mind kids walking around the store which is always a plus for us! They can order just about any bike you want even if it isn’t in the store at the time. Great prices as well!

I stopped by at this bike shop last Saturday with a few friends. As a beginner in the bicycle world, Dave explained how the bike shoes and padded knuckle gloves work. I ordered a new Giant bike from Champion about a 10 months back, when it arrived they custom fitted the bike for me and have been super helpful with any questions I have had along the way. Great repair and custom shop with amazing expertise. I will definitely buy from them again.

Knowledgeable staff, but they are extremely slow. Had my bike serviced here at least three different occasions and trust me, they are slow. This shop also seems to cater to people with deep wallets over the average person. Try to keep this in mind when selecting your next or first bike shop.

Amazing service! We had two 20" tires replaced for great price and fantastic service. Tanner apologized for the time it took even though it was less than 20 minutes, and he knew exactly how to do it and was excellent at it. If we need assistance we are definitely coming back.

The local bike shop I like to support. Reliably expert wrenching, great service, competitive prices, helpful staff - and on one occasion when I flatted on a ride and my spare tube failed, they even sent one of their employees out into the boonies to bring me another one!

Champion cycling did a great job tuning my Trek Speed concept. I am very pleased with the quality maintenance and the friendly staff. They also have a good selection of road and mountain bikes with the necessary gear to help you hit the road or trails.

Dropped off my gravel bike for a tune up and new chain. By lunch that same day my bike was detailed, had a new chain, tires properly inflated, and ready to ride again. Thanks Jeff and Seth for the fast and thorough service!

This place is great very friendly and the prices are great. I went in for some shoes and the installed my new pedals and cleats and fit me to my current bike for free and . I will be back when it is time for a new bike.

I had some repair work done a couple of months ago on my bike unfortunately something happened with the crank arm and I brought it back in and they fixed it within 10 minutes excellent customer service

Champion is a great local bike shop. They have a good selection of gear and bikes, and experienced mechanics. They tune my bikes as well as anyone. Plus they offer good advice when you need it.
