City Roofing recently replaced the shingles on our roof with Malarkey Shingles. We are very pleased with the service we received from Mark Dawson and his employees. To make sure that Malarkey's 50 year warranty would be honoured they used only Malarkey products as specified by the manufacturer, doubled our roof vents and then sent us pictures of all the work done as it was in progress and as completed. The increased roof vents have also meant that our house now cools down faster at night and our air conditioning is not working so hard during the day. The City Roofing crew worked hard to be as careful as possible with all the debris that inevitably results when an old roof is taken off. They covered all of my gardens and plants and all of my patio furniture. They were careful at the end of each work day to make sure all roofing nails had been picked up from my driveway and at the end of the job they very thoroughly went over my grass and walkways also. So far I have only found one nail in my mulch that they missed! I was happy, along with I am sure, my neighbours, that the crew did not find it necessary to blare out music from boom boxes while they worked. Other roofers in the area have done this in the past and guess what, not everyone shares the same taste in music! Mark was a pleasure to deal with. He did not try to up-sell us to a more expensive product, even though we initially expressed an interest in that product. Instead he steered us toward the product that was more than suitable for the high winds and heavy hail we can experience in Calgary, Alberta; specifically the very exposed Rocky Ridge ridge that we are on. At the end of the job Mark personally came by to do the final inspection and when we later found a mark on one of our patio chair cushions he quickly came by and cleaned it up the same day we called. I would not hesitate to recommend City Roofing.

Had Mark Dawson come out and give me a quote, went through everything and he said that everything would be done 100%. Had the house and garage roofs, one window, some siding and gutters and downspouts. Also had the front gable restained. Had a bunch of nails showing after the roofs were done, minor issues with the gutters and downspouts and didn't have the front skirt restained as per my phone conversation with Mark. I called his cell and left messages but the POS didn't return my calls so I called the office a few days later and they didn't seem to want me to say anything bad about Mark the POS and put me on to Cody. Cody called me back and dropped by that afternoon to assess things and had his guys come out the next day to fix the problems. I had a couple of other issues but a phone call to Cody and he went above and beyond to come by himself and fix the problems. I would like to thank Cody for going out of his way to make everything right for me. He did more than was asked of him and was sincere when he said "If you have any problems just call me". Thank you Cody and Mark you are 100% a POS.

We are extremely happy with the service from City Roofing and Exteriors. Right from the beginning, Mark came to our home, showed us the product, left a detailed brochure, and within a few hours we had a quote. When it came time for the roofing, Mark called and informed us about the date, and ensured that that particular date worked for us. The roofers arrived, Cody introduced himself, and explained the procedure and ensured us that if we had any questions at any time to just ask. There were 6 crew members, and they worked tirelessly to complete the job. The finished product is great - we are happy with the roofing job. When the crew was finished roofing, the crew cleaned the surroundings and again we are very pleased with the attention to the clean up. Mark came once the job was finished and did a final check around the house. In less than 12 hours we were emailed a receipt and warranty documents. I highly recommend City Roofing and Exteriors. The service is very prompt, courteous, and professional.

I would highly recommend City Roofing & Exteriors to anyone. Before choosing them I shopped around and researched different Roofers (some contracted the work out to another company). They are WCB accredited, have extra insurance, long standing company with great reviews and their pricing is very fair. The final invoice was exactly what was quoted with no surprises. I dealt with Mark, who is very professional said and did everything that was going to be happening and answered all my annoying questions. A very stand up guy! They removed the 50 year old gravel flat roof, and repaired the rotting parts of old roof base. Installed new roofing, soffits, fascia and guttering. So very happy with the end result of our flat roof and looks absolutely perfect! Everything was cleaned up from the property leaving no trace. We recently had our roof replaced by City Roofing and Exteriors, and we're glad we did! Dealing with Ashley was easy and comfortable, and I was kept up to date about the schedule, ordering and how the install would play out. The large crew arrived in the morning, and with the changing weather forecast for the next day, they worked a very long day to get the house and garage roofs installed. By the end of the day, we were looking at our new roof! I did notice a small hole in the garage roof once the old shingles had been removed, so I contacted the office to ask if it was fixed - the crew lead came out the very next morning and was able to show me that they installed a new little vent thingy over that hole to allow for better circulation. While they weren't the cheapest of the quotes we got, we're very happy with went with City Roofing and Exteriors. The quality is amazing!

Highly Recommended. We had had a minor roof problem since we moved into our house 10 years ago. Our builder said it was not a roof problem and told us instead how we could maintain our house better. Fast forward 10 years later, even though we had followed the builder's instructions, the problem had deteriorated, and there were water leaks and molds. Upon a friend's recommendation, we contacted City Roofing for help. Cody came to our home, analyzed the problem and answer all the questions I had. Actually, one of my company friends recommend me the City Roofing so, I tried to contact the company in order to get the quote in the last winter. They suggested the reasonable price and there was no hidden costs. I really satisfied, because they finished the roof replacement work just before the heavy rain. Long ago I used to do roofing, and my experience with City Roofing was entirely positive. Ashley got back to me very quickly and we had our quote within 24 hours, with an estimate that they could start on our roof in two weeks. The crew was available before we expected (9 days) and arrived exactly on time the next day. The crew were friendly, courteous (even when dealing with a difficult neighbour), and finished the job in one day. They used the best materials and their workmanship was first class. Their clean-up was thorough. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I contacted them through their online messaging system. One person rang and booked an appointment to come in for an estimate. He never showed up! I rang to find out what was going on. The person who picked up the phone said he would find out and get back to me but he never did! Update on 11th April'19- Mark from City roofing rang and informed that he was unwell hence couldn't keep the appointment. He apologfised for not canceling appointment. He offered Tim Horton's voucher which declined but thanked him for the offer. He'll come over to give a quote.

I think this company is amazing. I called Mark for a quote on a new roof and received my quote in 24 hrs. I needed a downspout rerouted and I needed it done by Sunday as I have a home inspection booked. Shawn came out in the rain on Friday evening just to get this done for me. He also went above and beyond and took a look at the rest of my roof as well. Undoubtedly one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with. City Roofing & Exteriors did most of the repairs on our house from the recent hail damage. From the initial estimate visit, Mark was very helpful and gave a number of options as well as fair costs. The demo and installation was fast as well. 1 day for the roof, 4 days siding (whole house), 1 day windows (demo & installation). Had trouble with the bank/insurance money and Ashley was very helpful and considerate. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work, communication and professionalism.

A friend recommended City Roofing to fix some bad leaks on my flat roof. Ken and Codi came out to have a look and later that day Ken explained to me where the problem areas are (texted me pictures as well) and the cost to fix. Called City Roofing for a quote. They were nice and provided a quote only after two reminders a week later. Then, after agreeing to proceed with the work, City Roofing became totally non-responsive to three separate voicemails left over a week. Guess they are not interested in the work after all... City Roofing is definitely not a 5-star company and I've since moved on to another company.

1/2 star. Quality on the level "made in China". Currently looking for another company for final repair. Look at this hole in the roof- probably for birds, and - gutter collects water directly to the basement.
