Hubbard is a company my family has been using for over 15 years. When it came time for us to have our roof done it was obvious where we were going to turn.... Hubbard! I feel its important to be an educated consumer so I always obtain multiple quotes on any home project to be sure I'm getting good value and that any issues are properly addressed. I did obtain a roof quote from another company first so that I had a baseline. The quote was pretty basic. They came to my house and emailed me a quote... never even got to meet them. My experience with Hubbard was the complete opposite and was a thousand percent better. We submitted a quote request via their web page and i was contacted quickly by Hubbard advising that someone would go out and see my roof before the end of the week. Little did I know they went that very day. I received a call from Kelly Bryden (great guy!) and we set up a time for him to come and sit down with us to go over his findings. He ran us through all their insurance and safety, highlighted the added steps they do on a roof that others don't unless you ask (6 nail shingles etc). He even brought out a list of all their prior clients and addresses so you could go and see their work. They treat every house like a billboard for their company and they are proud of the work they do. We signed up with Hubbard that night, they were a hair more expensive than the other quote but I could already see the added value and was more than happy. 8 days later they were up on my roof. From start to finish the process was smooth and painless. Communication was great. We received photos from the crew on the roof during the day showing us that things inside the attic were in good shape. All the parts were replaced as promised and the house looks great. When we came home from work the site had been cleaned up and all the debris moved to their trailer. They magnet swept our yard and driveway to minimize the potential of a flat tire or injury to us or our puppy. I know that if I ever need another roof at this house or any other I buy I'll be calling the crew at Hubbard again. Keep up the great work guys. I'll be more than pleased to give your name out to any of my friends or clients who need work done on their homes.

I am not impressed at all with this company. We had made arrangements with them in April, 2022 to have our roof re-shingled. At that time, they told us that they would be out in approximately July. We thought that seemed reasonable. July came and went. The only contact that was made was when we made inquiries. It was a hot summer so we were understanding that the workers could not be on a hot black roof in the heat. September rolled around, still no roofers. In October, we contacted them again and they said they would be out by about the 11th. Still no contact. We again initiated contact. To appease us, they told us that our shingles were being loaded next. Still no commitment as to when the roofing would begin. Next the shingles were dropped off and set on the roof. We were hopeful. The crew went up and found it too windy to continue. Time continued to pass us by. Finally, we could see the weather was not going be conducive to shingling and frankly by the end of October we had had enough and asked them to come pick up the shingles and we were no longer interested in doing business with them. They made one last ditch effort to come out on October 31. We looked at the weather and the next day and days after were too cold and snowing. So what would they strip the roof and then have to leave it?? We were done. The other thing is, they kept mentioning about how steep our roof was and that it was a challenge. If it was a challenge in colder weather, why not do this type of roof when it was not cold and do other roofs when it cooled down? Poor project management in my view. We will find someone else to do our roof in Spring 2023. We are very disappointed that we wasted 6 months waiting around for Hubbard and now prices are likely going to increase on us. Thanks Hubbard! I would not recommend this company at all.

In the beginning of July our roof started to leak from a heavy rainfall, friends of ours recommended Hubbard roofing who did his garage and he highly recommended them. I called, and explained that my roof was leaking and the owner himself came and installed a channel to devert the water to stop the leaking. Later he came back to give us a quote for a new roof. Later this fall the crew came out, and they discovered that a few boards underneath was completely rotten. They replaced 5 sheets of plywood and one of the crew members was very helpful with explaining to me the steps that they do to ensure that we won't have this issue again. I was completely satisfied with the work and the clean-up after and communicating with the project manager. It took them 2 days complete to replace the entire roof on the house and separate garage. I'm very happy knowing I picked them and their warranty on the work is 10 years. And dealing with all the staff in this company are very polite and professional. I wish there was 10 stars. And I apologize to them for all the times I kept calling to find out when they would be coming, because I was nervous about another rain storm to have more water damage inside my house that now I'll have a winter project to fix!! We needed to replace the shingles on our roof this summer and decided to use Hubbard Roofing after getting three quotes. One company never contacted me after emailing the quote. The other company wanted to do lots of extra work because they claimed we had mold in the attic due to bad circulation. Hubbard roofing was the third quote I got. Don was quick in giving us a quote and went out of his way to come back and check the attic to see if he saw an issue up there when I told him of the other roofers findings. He reassured me that the attic was in great shape and the picture the other company showed me of the mold wasn't from my attic. The type of wood used in the attic of our house was different then the type of wood in the picture the contractor sent me with the mold in it. Don gave me a competitive quote and an approximate start time which was very close to when they began working. The install job went very smooth and the one issue they had with the stucco on the house being installed to low, was communicated with me and fixed to the best of the roofers ability. There was also a final inspection before payment was giving which was nice. from start to finish Hubbard roofing was great to deal with. Its been about six weeks sense the roof has been installed and I'm very happy with the finished product.

Our house was damaged in the July 2020 hail storm , and we went with Hubbard for the repairs (estimated at over $18K) on the recommendation of a family member .WHAT A MISTAKE. From the start there were multiple mistakes (just to name a few - delivery of materials on a day we asked not to have work done , replacement of the roof on a day we asked not to have work done , the WRONG COLOR shingles put on our roof!), so once the roof was completed we decided it was time to move on , and have the remainder of the repairs completed by someone else. I expected at the very least an apology, but believe it or not , even after all of those mistakes the customer service ( aside from Breanne) was actually the worst part of this entire experience!!! I was shuffled around from person to person for weeks and was finally referred to one of the owners, Sarah Hubbard. She took absolutely no ownership for the mistakes, and was rude and condescending in her emails to me! She couldn’t have cared less about the subpar work her company completed or that I was bringing my business elsewhere for the remainder of the work. Don’t waste your time with Hubbard, there are plenty of other company’s out there who actually care about their customers .

We had a wonderful experience with Hubbard Roofing and Exteriors from start to finish. We had a roof leak due to an ice damn and also needed to have our skylights replaced. From day one, Kelly was knowledgeable, helpful and reliable and this remained throughout the whole process. We were provided with different options to fix the problem and never felt under pressure to choose the most expensive option.Our skylight man, Dave, was absolutely amazing and did an incredible job - our new skylights are so much brighter than before and look great! Everyone who works for this company is professional and reliable. We were always kept informed with regards to the timing of each step of the project, as well as the individual that would be coming to the house. Even when the job was completed and the roof inspection was done, they came back to fix a few spots that they were not 100% happy with. I cannot stress enough how amazing and efficient this company is! We got our roof installed from them a year ago when moving into our house. They did an amazing job in very efficient time and we were so impressed by their professional demeanour and phenomenal work ethic. They have very high standards which they stand by and prove to be true time and time again. Recently Calgary was hit with hurricane type winds and we thought some shingles blew off our roof due to it. As first time home buyers we were in a panic and called Hubbard to help us out. Jim Hubbard came by the very next day, made sure he had our colored shingles on hand and climbed up on our roof. Turns out the shingles didn't even come from our house but from our neighbours. He called me to reassure me that everything was okay and went that extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. I cannot stress enough how much this meant to my husband and I. I recently got my roof done and had a skylight installation through Hubbard. I am thoroughly impressed with the skylight installer. It was a pleasure to have him around the house with his pleasant disposition. I was impressed with his work ethic, attention to detail and communication throughout the job as it took a few days. I appreciate Hubbard coordinating his assignment to this job I’m 110% satisfied with the product delivered. The roofers were working mostly while I was out of the house, and so fast/busy I didn’t have much time to notice them. But they did the job in a timely manner, and left everything clean and looking great, so what more can you ask? Hubbard delivered a competitive quote and clearly displayed a commitment to the customer receiving a quality product. While other companies came in a bit less expensive, Hubbard provided peace of mind that the final product would be the best available on market. The quote provided by Hubbard was honored and no additional charges were added on after the fact.

We recently had a new roof put on our Edgemont home after a leak forced us into the process. We were unsure how to choose a roofing company, but followed the high ratings, had an introductory appointment with Cody who immediately put us at ease, and chose Hubbard Roofing. Cody was upfront about all the costs and the quote was exactly what we paid. He and Breanna stayed in touch with us over the weeks leading up to our roof date to make sure we were comfortable with our selection of GAF shingles. It was easy to text them and ask questions. When we wanted more samples, they hopped in their vehicle and drove them right up to us. It took two days to transform our roof and the men who came to do the job were friendly, professional, and extremely hard working. After the roof was on, Hubbard Roofing sent an inspector to check everything, and the men came back to clean up remaining debris. They even went over to the neighbors to clean! Our low slope tar and gravel roof was overdue for replacing when we contracted Hubbard Roofing to install a new Torchflex roof system this summer. We also arranged for insulation to be added, which made for a more complex job. Through it all, the crew were pleasant and professional, and when needed, our project manager was able to bring in extra people to help complete the work. From start to finish, we appreciated the attention to detail and conscientiousness shown for our project. And having worked construction in the past, my husband felt that the work was done to a high standard. We also arranged to have some of our windows replaced. Although there were communication and scheduling challenges, mainly on account of Covid 19, once again the installation was done conscientiously and professionally. We would not hesitate to recommend Hubbard Roofing and Exteriors, a family run business that takes pride in what they do.

Hubbard was fantastic to deal with, combined with fair pricing and responsive communication. They provided a quote using a satellite service to estimate the roof size, which to me was incredible. We scheduled in a time for the roofing materials to be loaded up, which was bang on accurate. The same day, they placed a bin on the driveway. The following Monday, the crew showed up and had everything completed in three days flat, which was incredible. Every day, the crew cleaned up debris, rolled with a magnet for nails, and blew off the front steps and deck with an air blower. Overall, a very professional experience and a fantastic job on the roof. Would definitely recommend using Hubbard. We did our due diligence and got a couple of quotes. Hubbard came and did a detailed quote and answered all my questions while they were there doing the quote. Together we figured out the best options for materials etc. We also decided to replace our skylight at the same time replacing the old plastic one with a new glass skylight. We also had a previously damaged side downspout replaced as well. Hubbard also does an attic inspection before starting the project. This was great and good peace of mind for me to catch any unexpected issues before the project is started. The work crew that showed up kept the area clean and were very polite/courteous. On the first day when I talked to the crew they introduced themselves individually by name. The crew took 4 days to complete the roof. Overall I would recommend Hubbard to anyone looking for a professional Roofing installer

We called Hubbard in late March because of an ice dam. Unfortunately, they were so swamped with phone calls that they weren't able to come out right away. I guess this shows you how reputable they are. The person who answered the phone was very courteous. She informed me what we needed to do right away. Luckily my husband was able to get rid of the ice dam himself. To make sure there was no insulation or roof issues, Hubbard was able to sent someone later on to inspect the roof and attic. The service tech was extremely thorough with his inspection. He made recommendations on areas that needed to be improved. Unlike other contractors I've experienced, he was very patient in answering any questions I had. Kelly, one of the managers of the company, went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Overall, I recommend Hubbard roofing. They are worth the wait!

I'm grad I chose Hubbard to replace my roof with choice of Duration shingles. The shingles looked great and they also replaced rotten wood, and installed drip edge and valley flashing, as well as installing 2 additional vents and fixed-up the chimney. They installed nice underlay sheets to protect the wood. They used a trailer to collect old shingles and rotten material. The installers were both professional and attention to detail. They took the time to install the roof the proper way unlike my previous experience with a different contractor who rushed to finish in one day, which then resulted in leaks in my previous house. Now, after the new roof was finished by Hubbard's team, we had some windstorm and rain, the new roof withstood the conditions and proved their excellent workmanship. I'd recommend Hubbard to my friends and family for future work.

We recently had a roof repair completed and attic insulation improvement done by Hubbard Roofing & Exteriors. From scheduling a free inspection to receiving quotes to scheduling and completing the work, all steps were well organized. Before the roof inspector came, we thought we might deal with leaking roof issue and might need to replace a whole roofing, which might cost fortunate. The inspector came and did a thorough roofing inspection and commented that the roof condition is still in a fair condition but did require some maintenance. The attic inspector suggested to add extra insulation to bring the condition up to the code. We accepted recommendations from both inspectors. The repair/maintenance work went well. The crews were very professional and very knowledgeable. We are very happy about the service we have received from Hubbard Roofing.

Don Hubbard came out and gave us a quote in January for replacing our siding on our house and detached garage. He was fair, knowledgeable, explained everything and did not make us feel ignorant when we asked a question. They were in line with 2 other companies. We went with Hubbard because we really liked the family vibe and real, down to earth conversations. It didn’t feel like that used car salesman vibe! George was our installer, and they did an amazing job! Friendly, knowledgeable, and did whatever it took to get the job done right and make our very “un square” 30+ year old home look brand new! Even my husband was super impressed with their workmanship and Don was so easy to deal with. I cant recommend them enough! They made a seamless experience for us, and it was greatly appreciated! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

After searching various companies we decided upon Hubbard. The quote was done quickly and was within the ball park of other companies. We knew we had to wait a few weeks for the roof to be done but was not a problem. When we were given the timelines of when events would happen, they did with one little hiccup. Some communication concerns came up but they were dealt with professionally and in a very timely manner to my satisfaction. The crew that did the roof, were polite, clean, and boy did they work well together. in 1 1/2 days our new roof was installed. We also had our 35 year old skylight replaced. It was an impeccable job, which adds to the cleanness of the roof line as well as allowing additional natural light into our front room. I would highly recommend this company without any hesitation.

We had our 28-year-old roof replaced in June 2016 by Hubbard and were pleased with the result. The crew was professional and cleaned up at the end of both days. No damage was made to our lawn from the truck they used as a waste bin either. We were very happy that they were able to get the roof done about three weeks before the expected time, just in time for all the rain this summer. Cody was excellent in providing information to help us choose the right shingles and explaining why extra vents were needed. There was a small miscommunication in receiving our invoice once the job was done, but it was quickly resolved with one phone call. We would choose Hubbard again for their experience and knowledge as well as for their friendliness and timeliness in getting the job done right and quickly.

Hubbard's replaced our leaky roof this past fall. They were awesome! Kelly was very upfront with the work that was required. There were no hidden costs and he had patience with my many questions. John and his crew were respectful of my home. They did a great job with clean up and again, any questions that I asked, John took the time to ensure they were answered clearly. We had a minor concern after our roof was installed. John was out immediately to remedy it. Not 2 hours after I called, not two days. Immediately; within 15 minutes. This is our second experience with Hubbard. They repaired part of my roof in Calgary and recently replaced the roof and eavestrough on our cabin in Bragg Creek. The whole experience was very positive. Don was very friendly and fast with providing me a competitive quote. Breanne was a picture of efficacy and was very patient with my many questions. The roofing crew was friendly and did a good job. They left the site clean. Jim did the final inspection and was transparent about a few things that needed doing to make the job complete and up to his standards. I was very impressed by the service received by all the team at Hubbard Roofing, from the initial call to the warranty being emailed to me after payment, everything was easy and timely. I had found myself in an unfortunate position where someone hired to do the work last year actually kept the insurance payout but never completed the work, Hubbard Roofing were kind enough to match that previous quote, and even upgraded the venting for me. (Also completed a repair to my eaves trough without extra fees.) The crew worked on a weekend to get the roof replaced quickly, and did an excellent job cleaning up after. I would highly recommend Hubbard for your roofing and exterior needs.

We bought a 12 year old house in Aug/22. In the spring of 2023 we had a couple areas with leaking. We had another roofing company come look. They did some minor work and said all was good. We didn't feel like the problem had been fixed so requested another opinion. Another inspection was done and we were told we needed a new roof! The house is only 12 years old. We contacted Stefan and he came to look. After digging around he found the problem and had it fixed in a few hours for a fraction of what a new roof would cost. I can't recommend Hubbard Roofing enough!! Save yourself the time and make one phone call!!! Very Happy Customer!!

Our roof did not leak before Hubbard Roofing replaced our shingles but it did after. The leaking started in July. Incredibly it took until November for them to attempt a repair. With the melting snow over Christmas it was obvious the attempt failed. We had to live with a stained ceiling, holes in the drywall and water dripping into strategically placed containers. In mid January, someone came out again to examine the issue and try to solve the problem. Since then we have enjoying peace and quiet without water dripping and the holes in the drywall have been repaired. We are overjoyed to have this nightmare end!

With the weather in Calgary, it looked like we had ice dams at the front and rear of the house and not a lot of time to fix the problem. Years ago, Hubbard Roofing had replaced the roof on the house, so we called them to get an idea of the wait time and cost. Hubbard's took our request one afternoon, assessed the roof on the second and removed the 20 cm ice dam at the front on the third; Hubbard's determined that the back of the house was okay and did not require any work. The crew took about 90 mins to remove the ice and the cost was very reasonable. Yes indeed, we would recommend them.

I've had Hubbard Roofing over a few times over the past 2 years since moving into our new home. The first time was for a roof tune up, then 2 ice danm removals and the last time was to solve my illusive hot spot on the roof. Glenn was the roofer that came over and he is great! Very friendly and does a great job. Don the exterior manager came to look at the hot spot and take pictures. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I will be contacting Hubbard for all my roofing needs, I wish I found them before I replaced my roof 2 years ago. I always reccommened them to family and friends.

My roof needed new shingles after 20 years. I did my due diligence and got three quotes. Hubbard's quote had the most detail and they were very punctual in answering any followup questions I had. The cost was very competitive. I booked in the winter to ensure I was in the queue for spring. Hubbard was very accommodating and arranged the repair when it was convenient for me. All work was completed on schedule and on budget. The roofers were very professional and answered any questions I had throughout the project. I would definitely use them again. The roof looks great.

We had a good experience with Hubbard Roofing and Exteriors from start to finish. Cody spent time explaining our options (we were new to replacing shingle roofs), gave us a very competitive price, but did not 'pressure sell' at all, and then Joe and his team of roofers were very diligent in getting our roof replaced without cutting any corners, and making sure we were safe while they were working. Great company to deal with especially since I'm from Vancouver. I searched the company on HomeStars and Hubbard Roofing was highly rated. I had quotes from several other companies but they were the most responsive (email replies within the hour) and competitively priced. They gave a very detailed quote with itemized list of things they were going to do. I needed the job to start within the week and they were accommodating. Best of all, they completed the job in one day.

I called them two years ago after a bad hail storm that had most of my neighbourhood getting new roofs. I did not have insurance coverage and Hubbard came out and repaired the damaged shingles on home and garage for 1/10th the cost of a new roof. I waited two years to write the review because I like to see long term reviews as well as day after ones. The work was done properly and I have had zero problems. I am going to use them when we get our roof done in a few years.

I am very happy with Hubbard's service from the beginning to the end. I got 4 quotes before I made my decision, Hubbard is not the lowest quote but they are the most cost-efficient and the most professional in my opinion. The person who quoted showed his professionalism and gave me some good advice. They did a good job on site as well, they went above and beyond to ensure everything meets my expection. Overall I am very happy with their work. Great job guys!

I had a leak and drainage problem with part of my roof and as they had done several roofs in my area I just decided to use Hubbard. The price was very fair and reasonable. We googled the top 3 Roofing Companies and Hubbard was one of them. Upon checking reviews, costs, etc. Hubbard came out on top. A free estimate was done including a check in our attic. The yard and deck spaces were cleaned up of any debris periodically through the day, the roof was completed within 2 days with the roofers being both professional, prompt, and on time. We were not charged until the roof was checked by the owner. 0 complaints!

We booked with Hubbard because when receiving our quote, we felt he was honest and valued our business. They were all very professional and completed the job sooner than expected! When we had a concern, a week later, they came within a few hours to check (it wasn’t a roof problem, but I felt reassured that they said it was smart to call). They also always wore safety harnesses!! (Also a reason we didn’t go with other companies)

We recently had Hubbard Roofing & Exteriors put new shingles on our garage roof, which was in very bad shape. They did a great job at a reasonable price, were very thorough on the clean-up, and Don and all the other staff were excellent to deal with. While working on the garage they noticed an issue starting on the house, so they went up there and fixed it as well, which was greatly appreciated. I will certainly recommend them.

We requested a quote to fix our skylight and were visited by a very personable and knowledgeable representative who indicated they would provide a quote the next day. They never did. Even after I followed up with them, I never heard back. I suspect our project was too small...but, honestly, just say so instead of setting the expectation of follow up!

Hubbard roofing was able to take care of our downspouts on our home. I left a message and they got back to me quickly to set up a time to provide a quote. Since we weren't replacing all the downspouts we needed a color match. Hubbard was able to find a great color match and do a good install. They were easy to work with and flexible to our needs.

After a bad hailstorm July 1 2021 the roofs on both our home and garage needed to be replaced as well as a lot of our siding. Hubbard Roofing completed both parts of this.
