Went for lunch today and ordered a medium rare steak. Cut into it and immediately knew it was well done. So I cut into the middle of the steak, and sure enough the meat was white. Brought it to our waiter’s attention and said to him “this is well done, I asked for medium rare.” So he took it back after he asked if I wanted a new steak. Whilst I understand that sometimes these things happen and I was happy to wait for a new steak, what I didn’t appreciate was the manager coming up to me afterwards. She said “when we cut into the steak it was pink”. What I didn’t say at the time and I should have was that I was the one to cut into the steak, but I responded to her with “no, it was white”. I don’t appreciate the manager lying to me to my face about the quality of my steak. Then they brought out my next steak and it was raw. Sent it back again only to have it medium. I gave up at that point. Then the manager walked past me with another persons order and gave me the dirtiest look. I’m a very easy going person but don’t come up to me and lie to my face to make me out to be the one who is lying. Then at least make sure your manager maintains some professionalism at the very least and not give dirty looks to your customers especially with when the customer was right. If I’m going to spend $40 on a steak then I would imagine it’s not too much to ask that the steak is cooked to my liking. Not impressed at all, I would not have even left this review if the manager didn’t act with such blatant unprofessionalism. A manager should know not to give filthy looks to their customers.

A very enjoyable evening which wasn't planned, but after making a trip to Koo Wee Rup and back via the road works, it was decided to stop in for a meal and very glad we did. A very Friendly, Modern, Clean, Well Staffed with friendly pro-active (but not over the top) Staff who make you feel like a Member even though you are a first time visitor. Great way to increase Membership.

Roast if the day $26 2 slices of Pork 1 potato cut in half 3 small pieces of pumpkin covered in spices 2 cups of frozen stirfry vegetables 1 frozen corn cob Very underwhelmed and requested a new piece of corn, however was microwaved as was hot on outside stone cold on inside. All vegetables but potato and pumpkin were still stone cold on the plate. Very surprised to go out for dinner and be served this. OUTBACK PARMA $30 Chicken was nice along with chips. However again a plate of frozen vegetables and frozen corncob. Pretty sure it was the Birds Eye Malaysian frozen stir-fry mix as I've seen it in supermarket. Just amazed that we went out for dinner and were served frozen vegetables. I did complain and was not offered a refund of any sort, spent $115 and will not be returning. There is no quality there at all. If you want poor food at full prices, you can certainly get it here. Never used to be like this, used to be fresh nice food but will be going to the new Pub in Beacy with everyone else as they may serve actual food and not stuff from the frozen isle.

I have a few things to say… firstly please make sure you bring your ID!! We had 2 tables booked for a birthday dinner and 3 people were refused entry due to no ID 2 of which travelled 35 minutes to join us. This is something not mentioned when we booked. The lady at the desk was far from polite about the situation and did not handle it with any compassion. Secondly in the bistro the wait staff is kind however it seemed short staffed yesterday when we waited what felt like forever during our dinner to order a drink, we went up to the bar to order and was refused as its table service only… trying to flag down the already busy wait staff wasn’t easy so we just walked around to the sports bar to order. The food is hit or miss depending what you order. But good news is the kids meals were great sizes, the play ground is great and the TVs above the bar are great for Sunday night footy! Overall it’s hit or miss depending on the staff.

We went here for the first time on Friday the 20th of October for dinner. The food and service were great. We both had steaks and they were perfectly cooked with mash, chips and salad. The drinks were on point. $10 cocktails and Canadian Club on tap. The only bad thing was the kids play room was a few tables away from us and the kids in there were smashing things and carrying on. The parents need to keep their kids under control in there and not just dump them in there so they can drink at their table in peace.

Club Officer has plenty of space for booking large family events. They even have an enclosed playground for children. The staff are all really friendly. Now getting to the most important part - the food. They have a decent variety of mains and sides to choose from. I have tried something different each time that I have dined in. Overall, the taste of the food is fine. Or to put in in numbers: 7/10 in terms of taste. That being said, none of the meals have been bad and most importantly - they have always been very generous serving sizes. If you are looking for a place with a decent range of decent tasting food to satisfy yourself and a group - Club Officer is a safe choice. I have been here several times with family and I have not been disappointed yet.

Just walking in and sitting down is something of a hassle, they always seem to have changed their membership system since we were last there and it always seems to take 20 minutes to sort out. The staff are friendly, the place is quite nice, kids love the play area but it's open at both ends and you can't always see the kids inside the climbing stuff which makes minding your Houdini toddler stressful. The food is generous, and looks impressive but is typically bland and overpriced. It's always best to remind them to bring kids food out first if you have little ones in tow, and you want any chance of eating your own food.

Went there for lunch today. Four orders placed, all read back to us, and my wife’s was totally forgotten. She ordered a ‘warm salad’ and when it came (very late) it was not warm at all and the others at the table were half way through their meals; was sparse on any meat and gave the appearance that it was ‘thrown together.’ We were there about four weeks ago for dinner and the meal and service were good. My wife told the person collecting the plates at the end that the ‘salad’ was not warm and lacked meat. She said she would tell the Chef. Yeah right! Based on today’s bad experience I doubt we will be heading back anytime soon or recommending it to others. Disappointing!!

Being a chef,Don't go out very often so tonight we came to the club have dinner for our anniversary at table 1, Took lamb shank,was very dry and microwaved,my wife got a scotch half medium,half medium well and it was ordered medium,ive had my shank sent back and ask for the steak instead ,not even ask which steak ,what doneness,what sauce ,and walked off,i had to yell medium rare scotch fillet,not even came once to ask of we were ok ,clearing the table was last of her worries,whereas the table behind us was being looked after ,we could hear it. Thankfully Helen at the front was very amazing and make the night heaps better.

Not a bad place however expensive now. Cost of food is now on par with restaurants and drinks too expensive. It's a club but offers little club activities except the sports bar. Shame as we use to love going there and now we have moved it is even closer but we travel further to other venues around where price and food are better. Weird place, bad atmosphere. Tables to close to each. Gaming and screens too close to dining area. Staff too quick to take plates and bringing bill 3 times. Pushy to send you away and clear the table. Living only close around the corner came here only few times and it’s getting worst every time. Confusing menu with senior menu included in regular menu with weird writing we kept riding seniors meals, when we obviously weren’t seniors with 3 small kids. I will stay away from this place and it’s unfortunate that Officer/pakenham doesn’t have a decent place to enjoy the food with good atmosphere.

We went there because my bf told me the food portions are big & really delicious. Lol.. he went there 7 years ago! Things are obviously changed. Small portions or normal portions now. I ordered bangers & mesh. It included two small sausages with mesh for $23 dollars! And the calamari smelled funny & tasted like soft rubber (had no taste in calamari because because it has been in the freezer for too long). The only thing good was chicken scallopini. But for a dish that only has two small pieces of chicken breast and cost about $30, it's not worth it. I don't think I will go back. Lots of great restaurants to explore.

The experience here is always nice, the staff are just lovely. The food is always quite nice and fresh, pub style but nice specials. Just one small thing, the meal my son got was quite spicy and it wasn't mentioned in the menu it was spicy, no biggie to us; for others though that may be a bit disappointing. No hard feelings about it and we will be back.

Table service which was quite good. The food was OK but I thought it tasted a little bit on the manufactured side. Like it came out of a packet, and for what it was the food is pricey. You can split the bill when paying which is good. Probably more suited to larger groups ie. Birthdays than to go out for tea as a couple. Oh! And unless you are a member you can't go through the front door! But being a first timer you don't know that till you get there. Then you have to run around the back in the rain. Super! Now you are all wet. Not happy Jan!! Personally I will not be in a great hurry to go back.

It's what you would expect from a club but then not. Staff all very pleasant and welcoming. Allthough the bistro felt like your typical clubl, the table service was a nice touch. Food was good value, tasty and the portion sizes were more than adequate. For those wanting a flutter it's not a bad room allrhough it lacked a little atmosphere. machines layed out well and a good range of new products. The steak here is terrible... 1cm thick $49.00 with a dry salad... asked to be cooked medium was literally like chewing a gum. Well over cooked.... but with 1km what do you expect.... I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of baked polenta and a chai latte which was just right. They did there best to understand that I was on a diet and made sure that they put skim milk in it for me. took the family out first time here was made to sign in on entry having kids who just wanted to go to the playground and I was stuck signing in then it was an hour wait on food including kids meals so you could imagine they got bored and frustrated... the only good thing was the staff where very quick with drink orders

What a waste of facility with só much potential but rooted in poor Austrálian culture of food (fish and chips very bad one) and not many options of menu. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, the spice was mild though there wasn't to much flavour for a Jamaican style dish, chicken was a little over cooked but the rice was perfect.
