Today 5 Jun 2022(Sun) at about 10.00am, I patronised Coles Ardeer and bought a few items. I used the self checkout counter. I scanned a REDUCED PRICE item but the original price was flashed on the screen. I requested for assistance from the Coles staff on duty at the self checkout section (Her name on the name tag was T•••••). Her first reaction when I showed her the reduced price item was to blame me for scanning the wrong barcode in an aggressive and unhappy tone. The yellow reduced price barcode was pasted partially over the original price barcode and it was done by another Coles staff not by me as the customer. As a regular patron of Coles Ardeer,I was very upset at the rudeness shown towards me by the particular staff. I hope Coles Ardeer will ensure that front service staff are properly briefed on good customer service manners. Your success depends on customers, so be nice to them.

3 days now and no fruit and Veg the minimum . No variety, empty shelves, Why is this store the last store for deliveries, is it management?? The customer service is rated 5 star but management of store maybe a 1. Out of curiosity went to a different store same district, it was full to the brim with vegetables and fruit. I should of taken photo , the miserable store in Sunshine west and the store in Braybook, Derrimut, Maidstone...etc I just was devastated to see the difference of the stores. Its not the first time either.

The new outlay and service at this store has changed for the worst. There is no consulting what customers want, forcing everyone to use self services!! The elderly and those with disabilities, which could be anxiety or depression as well will find it overwhelming, . On my visits I've had customers as me to help. I'm happy too... but Coles what are you doing!! This is just outlining what your business is all about. Not Customers Service. Thre isn't any

So rubbish,theres never enough check outs working and today i came in holding my 1 yr old daughter and got told by the lady serving"if you dont need cigarettes go pay on the machine" like hello i dont get paid to scan stuff on the machine my hands were packed i was struggling to pack stuff with my daughter lucky the young girl at checkout had more common sense than the senior worker...very rude staff and not enough people working on checkouts

No twin trolleys available Have been asking for long time The manager says its on order For the last 2 years Mind you I've asked 2 different managers Went to Woolworths in sunshine Asked if they were able to get a few in As only had 2 Now they have at least 20 Very happy with Woolworths sunshine Since posting this review Coles has gotten plenty twin trolleys thanks

Got to be the worse Coles ever, can't get what you want ever, bread goes off in 2 days guaranteed no matter what date say's, if they don't have what you want they say cause nobody buy's it then they eventually stock it in Coles brand, and to top it off they removed deli to put all products in plastic and bakery stuff in cupboards with fly's sitting on them, just appalling standard for Australia.

Used to be my local coles was a good place to shop. But a few months ago went for an interview here wasnt asked any questions the manager who interviewed me said i can tell what a persons like when i see them. So i dont need to ask questions. So i guess he had a bad impression of me. Since i didnt get the job. Also have heard employees saying how much they hate their jobs infront of customers

It's a good place for me and my family to go and buy groceries and I love it because it's near our house, I can just take a bike there or walk and buy something. There are also other little stocks there for you to check out. There is a Laundry there. I think there is a restaurant, if I'm not mistaken. Thank You and God Bless

Fresh Bread made daily. Deli removed, all sliced hams now in packaging, now they are fresh and dated with the expiry dates. The old deli did not keep up with the expiry dates on their sliced deli meats. Too many times the deli meats like the ham, was expired when it was taken home the same day. Glad the deli was removed.

This is a great Coles, it has a friendly vibe & despite it being a small supermarket - it doesn't even have a deli its too small a store - its still got lots of specials. Every time I've been there's been bakery & meat items reduced by heaps. Give it as go, delicious cupcakes & rump steak vacuum packs half price!

Only option is self serve checkout, please bring back at least one serviced check out option. I severely dislike the self serve options and they bring up a tonne of anxiety. The store is in a convenient place, is well stocked and the staff are friendly, fix this one issue and I'll be happy to change the review.

This is the main Coles I go to as it is in walking distance. The staff are very friendly always greeting me with a smile. It's the not the biggest store but the shelves are generally well stocked and I usually find what I need. Also I don't have to wait too long in line to purchase my things.

Less and less brand choices in some cases 1 brand and coles brand only. I dont know who taste tests the coles brand on some products example ceral is horrid. Also at The Avenue Coles sometimes for a week run out of a product till replenished and bread gemerally low choices by tea time. Craig

Now only self serve is an option it’s the worst thing they could have done stupid front layout .. with the worst customer service sorry no customer service.. my mum can no longer shop there because she gets to nervous about the self serve and doing it wrong. Real let down..

Would like to see more health products like grains , sometimes the bananas look fresh, but they are overripe on the inside, very helpful and friendly staff, I would like to see more of them at the check-outs rather than the self serve machines, I support staff not machines

Just completed a large amount of shopping and the front end staff were lovely, especially Danielle, who not only assisted me but all customers and was lovely to deal with. Staff like this is hard to find and Danielle should be commended. Great work Danielle, keep it up.

Awsone service. Great to be close by. My son is gluten and I find the stock they have in the past for gluten is not always there or it has been deleted from there stock order. Frustrating when I have to go to another supermarket to buy what I need.

Every time I go to this place and security are there they are always on the phone texting what are they there for easy money what a joke but other than that the people who do work there are very polite and friendly but security pfffft lazy …

It's not the biggest Coles, but they're pretty well stocked up. Had to buy a SIM card for some overseas' visitors and the staffs were almost completely clueless. Perhaps in need of some product knowledge training. But all in all, pleasant.

May be one of the smallest coles in Australia but its packed with things i generally buy thus no complaints in that regard. Staff are friendly and supportive. They open already cleaned and closed self-checkouts to clear long queue in the

5 stars rating is for the customer service. Every staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. Range of products are limited but understandable as it serves a smaller community. We locals are very lucky to have this Coles here.

I like the Coles here in Ardeer, Its the Coles on Fitzgerald Rd cnr of the Avenue, The staff here are friendly & helpful, The store is always nice, clean & tidy, The coffee is good too & only $2:50 for a super size, Cheers.

Fantastic customer service. Variety of goods sold suitable for the community. Despite the pandemic management and staff are doing very well . . . Putting in the extra effort to make customers' experience very satisfactory.

I only go to Coles for shopping convenience, and Coles has lost the personal touch with having an Automated system installed in their shops; I absolutely hate the automated machines and that is what drives me out of Coles

Small supermarket which can't carry as much stock variety as a normal Coles. Also frequently out of stock of things they do normally stock. Fresh bread isn't usually available until after 10am .

They have lost my business because of the stupid self service that they have introduced. If I wanted to work as a check out operator, I would apply for a job. Will never shop here again

Friendly staff and always well stocked with the essentials needed for daily life. The Turkish lady working there is always super nice and helpful when I need to find something.

This coles is pretty good, not as big and not as good as other ones but if you need a few things you can definitely come here. They have raised the prices a lot here though.

Rotten food, overheard the employees talking about how they were reducing fould vegetables. Found mould on a pork chop. Although there is very friendly and helpful staff.

Way too expensive for me. I havnt shopped in coles for a long time.12 months anyways. But my goodness I can't believe how expensive coles is now. Woolworths much cheaper.

Clean store with lots of helpful staff members. Beware though that because it is a small Coles tucked in the middle of a suburb, some options and stocks may be limited.

One major complaint is why the hell takeaway the deli. A lot of us single people dont need or want packets of cold meat just a couple of slices will do.

Okay if you want big brand named products instead of house brand very small compared to other Coles supermarkets but still handy if you need something

Very convenient store for the locals staff are very helpful especially Kimetta always has a smile on her face and always happy to help with anything

It's Coles. It doesn't have a wide selection of items. Update: even less items. Rude security. No scales on the self service checkout through!

Only a small Cole's so hasn't got a lot of what the bigger Cole's have but good for a quick shop and lovely customer service from all workers.

Good place to shop. Deli is ok. Meat and poultry not so much variety. Fruit selection quiet poorly. The international food selection is good.

Was better when they had more brand products to choose from.. Prices are competitive.. Staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of parking.

My late brother and my favourite Coles in the West. Just has that family-orientated feeling of comfort and safety. Always good memories.

It's an ok supermarket, it's on the smaller side of Coles shops and doesn't carry everything, but nice staff and well-lit inside.

They have a decent range but not as good as some of the other coles in the area but it’s good for a quick mid week stock up

Same as always, Rarely has a full product range even prior to Covid, convenient for picking stuff up in a hurry.

Needs to be renovated. They dont have a very good variety. No deli. Not much in the veggie and fruit department.

...The inconvenience for many shoppers could be that The Avenue Shopping Center doesn't have public toilets...

The young lady works at the front register is amazing and friendly. She must be the employee of the century!

Not as many selections of products as other stores but it's a lot smaller so it's horses for courses there.

Absolutely awesome again straight off the street don't have to access through a mall so easy great service.

Where is all the stock. I have to travel or go to another shopping centre to get what I need.

Everytime I come here the items are not fully stocked. Hard to get a full shop done at once.
