Be careful with the gift card bonus promotion. We bought an “Ultimate gift card for everyone” after seeing the 15% bonus value promotion. We put $300 on it, after checking out we checked the GC balance and there is no added bonus value. We came back to the store and was advised because it is “Variable Load” card so it is excluded. There is no word in the card saying it’s variable load. It has $50-$500 on the right hand side which you could not see in the catalogue photo of you don’t know what you are looking for. Being first time buyers for gift card, we didn't understand that what they mean by Variable load. There is no sign in store as well, and the picture in the catalogue looks exactly the same as what we got. So we told them it is very misleading and confusing and hence we made the mistake buying the wrong card. Can Coles help their customer to do sth about it? Store manager told us to call customer care because they could help out in this case. We called customer care and the agent straight away knew what happened and said their manager already told them there is nothing they can do with this issue, customers need to bear it. So I guess there are other customers facing the same issue as well but Coles do not make attempt to fix the misleading words in their advertising. They could make it clearer by saying “only applicable to $50” card or sth? They keep saying that what variable load means, yea now I know after my mistake, but please do something about this! Make it clearer please. And Coles don’t care or bother to help. All they say to us is too bad. Very disappointed in the way you treat customers Coles. The agent on customer care didn’t even dare to give us his name or staff id to identify him as a Cole staff.

Everything was going well until we had the unpleasant experience of dealing with an incredibly abusive worker (Susan). First of all, she yelled at us when we didn't know her register wasn't open. Then she yelled at her coworker and we felt so uncomfortable. We just put the "not open register" sign in a basket then she yelled at us and spoke ill of us, right in front of us to another customer. When she scanned our items she just chucked our receipt at us. Then I asked for her name. She replied, "WHY?? No! I'm not giving it to you." Then whether or not a worker knows it's the customers right to know who served them, her name was on our receipt "Susan." ... And on a separate experience they were islophobic. My friend's mum is scarfed and another worker just snatched her bag and assumed she stole something when she was getting something OUT of her bag. Then when she was served at the register, she stood up for herself, "you can't talk to me like that." To which the worker replied, "oh yeah, tell the manager." This place... I thought it was okay but it turned they protect some workers who are abusive and malicious.

Everything was going well until we had the unpleasant experience of dealing with an incredibly aggressive behaviour online worker. Unfortunately I don't know his name because all he did made me wants trembled. He was old and bald with yellow fluorescent dispatch uniform. First of all, I aks about difference amount of my refund the other day and then he came, yelled at me and said "it's only $5 and you did so many times" meanwhile this is my first time did refund from Coles both offline and online. He take the paper agresively and wrote down stuff and still mentioned the amount AND HE THOUGHT I WANT CASH!. I explained him why I returned and say sorry even but he still continues act agresively. I don't really mind about my $5 but his aggressive behaviour towards me deserves a report. This is not the second time he did this but this time I cant accept for what he did. Remember, he is from Online Click and Collect department. This place... All the staff are incredible except that rude guy

It was a bad one , today the shop at craigieburn central was so busy me and my friend used though to use one trolley.after we finished shopping one of the worker forced us to but the tissue box back because we are using the same trolley. I explained to her that we paying separately and I will get another trolley and put my things in it, when I came back I was surprised she put my friend tissue box back and refund the money. I said why I already explained to you, she replied it's not okay you making problem for me or something like that then she added I explained to you DO YOU UNDERSTAND. Of course everyone looked at me and I was so bad . Never back again to this place, most of the worker not nice and they don't respect people from other background, it's so sad and that's not the first time to be treated badly from that Coles.

Coles Craigieburn ( what can u say )You have to wait for service, checkout at registers don't happen, you need to wait for someone who has no idea what to do.The manager he's a fine piece of work when you explain that the registers need to be open so shoppers can be on their way he agrees but does nothing about it.He doesn't like being in a verbal conversation He tries to avoid you. Also the place is full of Migrants,i avoid the area as much as possible. The Amount of shopping trollies left out on footpaths and streets in general is a disgrace ,Aussies don't do that.Maybe if they were to charged $5 per trolley people would think twice before leaving them on the streets outside of homes those people need to be FINED heavily. And by the way The Local Council does Nothing About it.

Just saw the online post detailing a terrible experience of harassment withstood by one of your Craigieburn's customers in Victoria. Two women kissing in public is acceptable in 2021. It's shameful behaviour from the customer that perpetrated and spouted vitriol to those two women, but it is also embarrassing and unacceptable that when approached by the ladies, you simply said that you cannot intervene in such matters. Only the police can intervene, according to your Craigieburn's store staff. Shameful behaviour to say the least. You have managers to deal with these matters and to diffuse such behaviours. Utterly disappointed.

  • Melanie Sallantioglu

Be careful of what you purchase at Coles...i have added photos of products that should be taken off the shelves at Coles Craigieburn. Stay away from the cheese if they look like the ones in the photos as they are spores/dots awaiting to turn into mould. The cheese can make you sick. Also check your fruits as the berries in the photos speak for themselves. The manager is aware of both these issues but does not want to address them. The issues have been reported to Coles headoffice and also the council but again both are ignoring the substandard foods that are on the shelves.

  • Mary amary

we were waiting in line to get served at night around 11:40pm on 13 of march. The worker was a young girl with black scene hair cut. nearly hit the customer with something by accident, the customer said to her all you had to do was apologise and shes like "MATE DO YOU KNOW HOW HEAVY THIS IS" and the customer and her went back and forth it was very uncomfortable for everyone there, then she literally told him "GO TO WOOLIES THEN" so the customer put down a basket full of items and stormed out. i dont know how these people get hired.

  • Jen Tucker

Well done to the Coles workers today whom were evacuated due to a fire in a neighbouring shop. These staff identified an elderly lady had lost her husband in the complex. They cared for the woman to the best of their ability in difficult circumstances and successfully located her husband so she could go home and get out of the cold. Amazing amazing efforts! Both the team of workers whom assisted this woman and Coles should be extremely proud of their efforts! Coles are very lucky to have such amazing humans as part of their staff

  • fabian calleja

This is the worst store I've been to. No staff person on self serve that if she showed interest may have died she was pathetic in every way 1 register open 20 people or more waiting and leaving full t trolleys behind. I felt sorry for the girl l at reg . This store needs to have a good look at itself but what do you expect And they wonder r why people don't shop there at Coles any way off to woolies ain't waiting been 15 m put back 3 trolleys of goods have fun

  • JG A

It's Craigieburn, not South Yarra, and all is a bit 'under-tone'... The place is nice though, with a few highs (a good choice of breads, sone ready made delicatessen, some international and specific ethnic sections) and also a good choice of veggies (but don't look for uncommon lettuce or anything too fancy) more than anywhere else around. No organic meats and chicken, with an exception for one type of grass-fed beef. Also small choice of halal meats.

  • Connie Dinu

I do enjoy this coles very much. The different sections makes it almost a quick stop for alot of needs. From their clothes section, baby section, house section being an added bonus when shopping at this coles. Their deli has alot to offer, Very impressive cheese spread/ layout . Now offering cooked pork along side the usual available cooked chicken. Bakery section is another bonus. Overall a Clean, larger and user friendly coles. Worth the visit.

Ordered to pick up stuff from click and collect. This is the second time I received an email stating the product I ordered isn’t available and as this was second time I went in the store and looked when I picked up the item and that product was on the aisle. And a fair few of them. Click and collect person clearly ignoring the stuff that customer orders and when I notified coles customer service they sent me a generic email. Rubbish service.

Nella one of the managers at Craigieburn Coles was extremely disrespectful to me and my daughter. My daughter is only 9, and she is in the midst of practicing her social skills. She wanted to buy a new electric toothbrush as i told her that she was grown enough to own one. I encouraged her to ask for directions herself and she approached Nella, only to be shut down by her and asked to "Go ask someone else". If i could give 0 stars, i would.

Went to the craigieburn store today and noticed every fridge area now has doors applied. In covid times how ridiculous as you have increased touch points by thousands and no staff wiping door handles down. Where I could simply pick up eggs and not touch any other point I now have slide a door open as do the hundreds of people before and after me. No cleaning and ridiculous unnecessary touch points now introduced in your store.

  • Anne Balliro

Brought icecream had sticker saying $2:40 off get to register .. came up with full price, I informed check out girl that has floor staff check it and l notice floor staff ripping off price tag and say’s no it’s not on special ..It was on special last week... Absolutely disgusting behavior from floor staff.. It’s not for the $2:40 it’s because she had the nerve to rio it off . .. Coles makes millions of dollars profit ..

BEWARE EVERYONE!!!!! I went to Cole’s Craigieburn and just seen they are slowly starting to install those gates that lock you in the store and the only way to exit is for staff member to open it once you have paid. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STUPID & you wouldn’t have this issue if you didn’t install self service registers. IF YOU WANTED TO BE TREATED LIEK A CRIMINAL THEN GO TO COLES BUT IF NOT DEFINITELY AVOID THIS PLACE NOW

  • Wafa S

My mum fell today and hurt herself in your store near the fridge area around the cheese. The floor was dirty and obviously slippery and a very nice lady (a customer) had helped get her up and make sure she was okay. My mum is busy today so she did not have time to make a complaint. Please make sure your floors are clean and if there’s not enough staff or time to clean it then at least put a wet floor sign. Thanks.

  • Asad Muccadam

Terrible experience on online shopping due to COVID issues. Stock were substitute without confirming and with the wrong item. Contacted Coles online no help available. Called Coles Craigieburn Central and the staff wasn't helpful as if it is the end of the world and they have no idea when the new stock is coming. Not a person who leave bad comments for anyone but this was the worst experience of my life.

  • Jay Cooper

My biggest regret in life is setting foot in this Coles. The haunted look of its underpaid workers toiling away their best years reminded me that slavery still exists. With yellow teeth and a feral snarl their envy turned to hatred as they realised I wasn't a cog in the gears of this corporate monstrosity. I was lucky to escape with my life. Keep your sanity and choose Craigeburn Woolworths instead.

  • Venkata Ashok

Would've given higher rating except for the staff member NELLA had horrible manners. Should keep her personal emotions/preferences separate from the job especially when working in a customer service environment. Making RACIST COMMENTS AGAINST CUSTOMERS will initiate a complaint to ACCC. You are there to help COLES customers while at work but not to use foul language against them.

  • Good Big Boy

I waited for very long time at the kiosk to buy cigarettes. Then I walked away, went to woolies to buy them. BUT, whilst i was waiting there I observed one guy walk through the self serve checkouts walk through with a shopping trolley full of shopping!!!!!. ( the attendant was too busy at that time.) It goes to show you Coles staff are over worked and underpaid. No one cares.....

  • SportyClarke Graham

I'd give no stars if it allowed. Some staff are real rude too busy chatting instead of serving. Nice that I have to wait for service while the staff member is having a good laugh with a customer. With this Covid 19 at the moment some people just want to get in and out quickly. Come on management looking at all the bad reviews on here, I think its time to do something.

  • Sami Adnan Ahmed

Second time I have been accused of stealing products from this store - and I'm a working professional father of two... brown man Update: reading some of the other reviews it looks like I am not the only one complaining of prejudice. As such the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission has been notified and a formal complaint lodged

  • Prabin bhatta

I went to the coles today and a lady just argue with me about the things that i bought at woolies. I told that lady it is not from coles that’s from woolies but still they made me wait for more then 15-20 min without any purpose. After a while manager felt sorry about that, but still staying out there for no reason is not acceptable.

  • S Z

Upeka is extremely rude Ive had multiple encounters with her and every single encounter is worst than the previous one She doesnt greet customers and quickly starts complaining about her day as shes scanning items she waits for you to bag them and if you dont she rolls her eyes and tells you to bag your items because shes tired

  • Alaha Ahmadi

I’m so disgusted with the way some of their staffs are behaving with the customers, they don’t know how to talk with someone nicely and directly judge that customer for any reason. I won’t never ever go back to this place, I would rather to go to a place to do my shopping which their staffs have good manners towards customers.

  • Tracey Pitcher

I would just like to say, that Coles Craigieburn have the most sensational staff.... They are so helpful and accommodating. In my 62 years l don't think l have this kind of service in any store such a refreshing experience in this day and age when service anywhere is pretty slack, keep up the good work …

  • Lisa Thomas-Leeson

Went in there to buy sliced roast beef from the deli and again was disappointed. This is the second time in 2 weeks. Why are you not selling roast beef? I had to go to Mickleham Coles. They always have roast beef and are happy to cut thicker pieces. Craigieburn you are letting down the Coles brand …

  • Paul Cyril

Very good well-maintained multi-purpose store. Very good customer care. All kinds of foodstuffs available. Economical prices available for all the products. Easy accessibility for all the travellers from different parts of the suburb and the city. Good accessibility for all the wheelchair bound travellers.

  • Max04454

The latest layout where they incorporate gluten free products alongside standard foods really slows your shopping experience. Quite a few out of stock items. Really poor fresh vegetables selection. Only one register with a human behind it!! I acknowledge that there are some supply chain challenges.

  • Faraz Naqvi

Coles is a really amazing, they have a variety of things to choose from. The employees are really nice as well. So i would recommend this place to shop from. I took away one star becuase some things can get a bit overly priced. Not on all things but some are overly than they should nomarly be.

  • Liam Ferguson

Place is fine. Same as most Coles. Staff are good too and you have a fairly good run through the checkout. Avoid Sunday arvo as place is packed. Would also avoid the service checkout line, had the same lady twice on there, not sure if she's just had a long day, but she's a real moody one.

  • Ninos Hozaya

Wide range of products. Fresh fruits and vegetables as well. Easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are probably 5% higher than some other stores. Don't rely too much on staff to answer your questions, try to find it yourself it's easier. Don't forget to scan your Flybuys card.

  • Jass Chahal

Such a poor customer service provided by staff member “kiran” . I requested her to put everything in the bags when she started scanning my groceries. She replied “I know what my job is, I have been doing this for so long” Coles, do some training to teach your people some etiquettes

  • Nethasha

This is the first store that I’ve seen plain discrimination to people of colour. I was born and raised in Australia and the lady at the self serve proceeded to yell at me. It’s incredibly disrespectful and it’s blatant that she has a preference of race. I’m very disappointed.

  • Raelene Xerri

No fresh fruit at night throughout all of Jan. No one on checkouts, you have the kiosk and self serve as your only options. With a big load neither are appealing. The staff are friendly and apologetic, as waits are up to 10 minutes. If this continues will switch to Woolies!

  • Melanie Makaronis

Thanks Marija, Liz and Zac for helping me today and giving me a refund after Rahina gave my mum the wrong item. My family and I are very grateful for your help today. I always love visiting the store. I can always find what I need and more. Thank you for a sterling service.

  • Amy T

Just a regular Coles store and our local supermarket, always seems to have what we need. It had a big renovation that saw half the store changed a few years ago, but I'd love to see it get that modern renovation/decor like the Mernda Coles has. Also, We miss the birds

  • Akash Kamat

Good place to buy a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and general groceries. Has huge stock of frozen pizzas, ready to eat stuff and ice creams. Always well stocked in terms of variety as well as quantity of each item compared to other stores and friendly staff as well.

  • Keith Cooper

Every time go into Coles Craigieburn I always have trouble getting no sugar soft drinks they have heaps of sugar drinks , being a diabetic I like my soft drinks when I can get it I wonder who does the ordering maybe they need to walk there lanes a bit more .

  • Mr Sir

To the girl at the service desk on Thursday 23rd August. You don't need to get nasty because we asked to change the collectable figures. We spend enough money on trying to get the whole set. Cheer up try be a bit more friendly. You don't own the company....

  • Moe

Grumpy old blond lady chasing our kids for the items consuming it assuming we won’t pay for it. At one point she picked it up from our kids and asked to scan it before finishing everything. Disgusting behaviour by Coles staff and unprofessional …

  • Aamir Khan

Worst place for shopping ever. Most of the times out of stock. Right price tags are missing. Products are on the wrong shelves. Staff is not friendly. And I think this store has not checked boxes for cleaning on their list, very poor cleaning.

  • Tina Peterson

Be careful when buying bread from Coles wasn't paying attention and only noticed when I got home! Looks like it's been nibbled at by some type of animal has bird poo on top as well. Makes you wonder how and where they store their bread!

  • shanna dowie

Need to have more checkouts open sometimes I go in there and there’s only one. Also whoever stacks the meat and poultry too high tell them not to do it because they’re not even getting refrigerated. Saw that today and was shocked

  • Parry Singh

First place to buy grocery and other products, now a days could find some products, shelf are empty. So sad we hove to go to another store, If this will continue, we have to shift our 1st place to another store(s).

  • Anesu

Very good customer service in person. Phones are never picked up. Stock is good. Left items and they were found and kept for my pick up later. Lots of parking as it’s at the Craigieburn central mall. Recommended

  • Rabi Katoua

Store always looks like new; always clean and looked after. Yes it is like any other Coles but you feel the difference with the helpful staff and cleanliness that is not always existent at all stores.

  • rashida badar

The range of products is great and I like their specials. Their products are comparable to expensive branded products. They have got a small section of Halal meet, wish they could have more variety.

  • Ritu Gupta

Worst customer service ever nobody smiles....nobody greets...it's like someone is forcing them to be on registers....I have not seen such rude customer service staff anywhere else! Worst store ever!

  • Gurpreet Kaur

Jordan done very good customer service , he have patience and good communication skills. He is the good one. Because he handled customers very politely... Thanks brother. Gud job, well done …

  • Brenda Bradley

Found the international food isle very easy. Extremely disappointed with the lack lustre Aussie Day merchandise tucked waaaayyyy down the back corner of the store. Please start catering for ALL!

  • Michelle Dosser

Love the self serve conveyor belts, they make doing a big shop super easy! The shops tends to be a bit messy and shelves poorly stocked at times so takes longer to find what I want

  • Carmela Marinelli

Today at 11,26 am I asked for watermelon I asked to guys on the floor fruit area sorry no one cutting it today disregard he got me a piece from the back it was terrible …

  • Jan Herweijer

Still alot of Birds inside Coles. Health risk! Watch for bird droppings. Pest control company don't make a good Job. Yesterday I saw a crow inside Coles... this is unacceptable

  • Allan Jackson

I hate this Coles. Beware of the mark down stickers. If you pay attention you will see things like "was $9.00" now "$8.80" for real $0.20 off and its old Chicken?

  • N

Absolutely disgusted!! The guy that brought out my groceries was so rough and in a rush, just throwing the bags in my boot and damaging my items! Pathetic service!!

  • Greg Wilson

They have a sparrow in their shop... what do you say.... I couldn't help but wonder where he lives... an environmental friendly ploy ? I say "Let it be". …

  • Ray Warner

Having 1 person working the service counter and checkout is ludicrous. The poor girl was rushed off her feet. The staff are really good and deserve better.

  • Deepika Garcha (Dee)

Friendly service, well organised,Usually well stocked and fresh. There is lots of variety of different foods available to purchase on good prices as well.

  • N A

Good customer service, the store is clean and neat; shelves stocked nicely and neatly, found what I was looking for, staff always happy to help.

  • Dom Ignacio

I was able to use my flybuys so that's a plus. They got good products and is inside the shopping centre so it's convenient with ample parking.

  • Jay Singh

Rude and arrogant staff and security guard. The place really needs to train their staff in basic customer service skills and common courtesy.

  • Kellie “Kell” Stevens

A typical shopping centre, the staff are lovely. Willing to assist you if you need of help. Customer Service Officer Kim is always lovely.

  • Steve Barton

Good supermarket but sadly no click and collect to your boot. Have to go up to the service desk, which defeats the purpose some what

  • Joseph Bustami

Beautiful place to shop. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. It missed 1 star because it has less offers than other Coles branches.
