This afternoon I realised time had totally got away from me as my workplace is short-staffed and snowed-under with work, so I had missed my chance to send flowers to my youngest child/daughter who's in lockdown in Melbourne. Chantel works at a shop in the same shopping centre as Coles Eltham, so I rang Coles to see if I could buy a bunch of flowers over the phone, very willing to pay some extra if someone could possibly walk them just down the aisle to my daughter (who chose to work on her birthday to help her colleagues in the chemist, in these really busy times). Unfortunately they can't take payments over the phone, but the truly lovely young lady I spoke with, Hayley, came up with another plan...and within 10 minutes my daughter was in tears of joys being handed a bunch of flowers. <3 Thank you Hayley (and Team), for going above and beyond...and for making one 23yo young lady and her super-proud Mama, extremely happy, and grateful. (And yes, I promise I will definitely pay it forward, Hayley. :) <3 )

Be Careful! I’ve ordered online groceries, paid in full through PayPal. Then Coles only had two items available out of entire order. We came home to realise that we have been charged second time for items we have collected however one of the items we were charged for was never given to us through click and collect. Ok we sms-Ed with Coles and got refund for $11 for item we were charged for but never received but wait we are still charged full $82 for original order but have only received two items worth $25.20. If you are lost so we’re we. So had to call Coles 2more times to get my $82 back! This is FRAUD! You can not charge full amount then provide two items then charge again! To make matters worse, their call centre is somewhere overseas and people working there can hardly speak English! This is embarrassing, your profits COLES come from Australian people purchasing your groceries yet when we need to reach for your help you source those jobs overseas! Shame shame shame on you!

I have just been in this morning with my toddler and and first I asked a young blond girl stacking shelves a question. I was friendly and warm towards her and I just got “ go to the service desk’. There was no good morning, and not even a hello, no eye contact, and she was abrupt and rude. I arrive at the service desk, and there is a young girl with long brown hair. Again, I am friendly and polite and trying to engage in some form of conversation. She just out and out refused to respond, and gives no eye contact and is rude and abrupt. I am absolutely disappointed at the standard of service and the fact that these employees are not even trained in the the basics of greeting customers. I won’t be shopping here again and I will stick with Woolworths where they actually have staff that smile and are polite and helpful. Coles sort your act out and train your staff properly.

Ha ha ha Bulman lol . This is a well ran store always nice and clean the staff here are always friendly. As per usual this coles has everything thing you could ever need in terms of groceries that is. I would like to give a major shout out to David Bulman one of your staff members he is the coolest guy and the best Pokémon go player in the world he owns the Monty-Eltham raids and rare sightings group chat as I said he is probably the best Pokémon go player in the world he is very experienced and a great leader!

I’m sorry, I’m sure all the staff are lovely... BUT why do we have to ask a staff member for a plastic bag whenever we go through the self check out.. usually this involves waiting for the staff member to stop having a chat or stop helping someone on the checkout systems and by then I may as well gone through the normal check out.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just put a pile of the bags out just like Woolworths do!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our dog was very nervous and it was difficult for the groomer to get the job done. But l must say they tried to do the very best they could with the circumstance. They were kind, understanding and did the best to reasure our dog that she was okay. They allowed us to stay. They also recognized when the dog had enough. Thumbs up to the staff.

worst coles I've ever seen，me and my friend brought grift together，my friend cannot speak English so i help her to pay the bill，but they only let us buy 5 cards not 10，means only for one people‘s amount …that‘s crazy… a person who need help but dont have fair right to purchase…..cuz we are Asian？f***k racism…and they are bad attitude…. terrible experience

Usual Cole's items and nice small centre making it easy for grocery shopping. You don't have to dodge lines of ppl hanging out or shopping for whatever else. Just grocer, bottle shop, butcher, chemist, health food store, tobacconist,and a couple of other small stores. Cole's staff friendly, clean store and plenty of hand sanitizer at entrance!

It's a standard Coles store. What more is there to say? :) Open until midnight which is convenient. As of 2018, the self-service checkouts have had their scales re-activated, making them a royal pain to use (compared to the Woolies ones) - you're better off going to a manned regular checkout.

Shame shame Coles Eltham I have been shopping with you for over 2 decades. Recently The customer service is non existent. Long queues with only 2 registers open. Shelves poorly stocked. Get you act together or a new manager! Or I will be off to woollies!!!

I felt really uncomfortable, I noticed staff kept watching me shop, made me feel like I was up to no good, when all I was trying to do was shop. This is not the Coles I normally go to, as my local one was closed. I won't be returning to this Coles.

I know it's only a supermarket but this one is really starting to look second rate. Some of the staff are excellent, but too many of them really couldn't give a toss. It's a pan when they're out of stock as its almost impossible to get help.

I bought short cut bacon from Coles and it was cut so thin it was falling apart. It was a disgrace. My friends came over a judged my judgement in shopping at Coles. They shamed me. Stick to Woolies for your sake. Don’t make my mistake.

Very well organised store. Staff friendly as ever. The young man Anton was an absolute delight!!! I was unable to locate an item and he was kind enough to show me to it, whilst having a conversation about arts and crafts!

Had a really fantastic experience with a check out boy called Luke, very friendly and efficient packing. love Coles as they have the selection of starburst lollies which Woolworths cant compare. Would highly recommend.

Great range of groceries, offers a decent range of vegetarian food options, easily accessible in parking and getting around the store, very close to chemist, bottle-o and fruit and veg shops if you need them.

It is what it is. Another bland instalment of the great grocery duopoly. Only go here because I shop at the fantastic butcher, green grocer and baker in the complex. And go to Coles for the rest.

Coles Eltham is a well stocked, clean supermarket, with excellent parking and amenities. Once I had to go back after my child stole some lollies, and I wasn’t even arrested. Five stars.

Close undercover parking... And a well stocked logically laid out shop.. Friendly staff and quick and easy check outs. Better than woolies whose car park is on a slope …

Though and older store, it is spacious and airy. The parking is good with much undercover. The range is large and well stocked. The staff are helpful, humourous and polite.

Nice range of bread, pastries and cakes. More so than Coles in low socioeconomic areas. Very little Coles brand, budget price options. Catering for the well heeled locals.

Pretty good. Great care of sustainability but atmosphere could be better and staff could be much better trained, as well as more training altogether.

Nice big clean store. Lots of stock lines. Bakery. The ciabatta loaf is xlnt. Easy to access. Plentiful parking. Very good experience.

It's got everything you would expect to find at your local coles. Love to come here for groceries or to grab a snack after work
