"Every time I have been to this Coles, Iv had a bad experience 1- a pacific staff member is so rude to me every time I go there it's like she hates customers, 2- you close at midnight, yes? And I go into the store at 9:30 and ask for a carton of smokes and the excuse is oh, sorry we don't have any or they are put away BUT! I can see them right at her feet :/ 3- (related to number 1) The same lady every single time I see her, her greeting is "hi what do you want" or "hi" And one time she actually yelled at me because she could not hear me :/ and then more or less through my things at me and walked off Not very happy, I would chose not to go back to this Coles but I have no choice I live like in the next street and is a easy walk to go buy smokes and even just milk! Very disappointed!!"

"Staff are friendly and hardworking"
This is just a small incident but has bothered and disappointed me a lot as a regular customer of Coles Reservoir. I've been shopping here for a few years and need to move house soon. I was told by moving agent that if I go to local supermarket they will be able to give out some waste boxes which I could utilise to pack my stuff. So I called up Coles Reservoir a few days ago asking if they are able to put some boxes aside for me so I can go pick up. I was told over the phone that they could do it and that I could go pick up after 7pm at night. I went at night only to found that they didn't reserve any boxes for me. So I asked if they can put some aside for me the next day and they said no problem they will leave a note and let me pick up after 7pm the next day. And I went the next day, none reserved for me and was told to go back the next day again. So I went there 4 nights in a row only to be told everytime that there was none put aside for me and they would save some tmr. I know it's just a small incident and the boxes are free if I can ever get any. But if you can't do this favour in the first place why keep telling me to go back the next day? I wouldn't go and bother you if you simply tell me that your messages are never passed on to your staffs. It's really a waste of time travelling back and forward for nothing. It just makes me feel that Coles Reservoir shows no care for its customers or any reliability to its promises.
I’m very disgusted with the service I’ve received at the Reservoir Coles. I purchased some mangos earlier today and upon leaving the store I realised I had been charged wrongly for my purchase. I went back and was served by Anna who refused to honour Coles policy which gave me an entitlement of having a full refund if I was charged wrongly for a product. Anna refused to provide me with that on the grounds that it was ‘human error’. I find this highly unfair and ridiculous as this has happened on numerous occasions in the past all with the same service assistant. It seems to me that I should not have to be robbed of my rights as a consumer due to the incompetence of one particular worker. I’m very disgusted and disappointed as I’ve been a loyal shopper of Coles for many decades. From now on I shall be taking my business to Woolworths where I shall be treated fairly and served by workers who can actually do there job.

Don't rely on this site for click and collect if you need the items for the planned time & date as you can't organise another click and collect until the next day. The few times I've tried to place a evening click and collect online the day before for this particular store, its always been cancelled the next day, only a few hours before I was expected to pick up. If there's insufficient stock at other stores, it lets me know in advance before I've even placed the order. Why is this stores stock system so dysfunctional that it doesnt notify untill its too late? And with a vague generic email of 'order cancelled, call or text us if you have questions'
Staff are friendly and hardworking. The store itself is medium sized for today's supermarket standard and could do with a major refurbishment. Carpark is poor in spaces, road surface condition and security lighting at night time is extremely poor. What makes it much worse for customer experience is some of the cliental. I've visited the store on four separate occasions now, once during the day and three at night and I've witnessed an abusive female customer ranting and raving about a missing purse, a drunken male pedestrian in the carpark and 4 very seedy characters. I've decided I'm giving this coles a miss if I need to drop in there at night.
We affectionately call this Coles "The worst Coles in Australia". Despite living a few hundred metres away, we travel 5km to the next suburb to do our shopping. The store is tiny, it feels like it has half a dozen half-length aisles. As a result, it has a limited range. It only survives, because there is no competition for 3+ kilometres. That all said, I still pop in regularly. Be it munchies, flour, or some other emergency item, so long as it is a common item, they likely stock at least one variant of it. Just don't try to do your weekly shop here and you'll be fine.
The Deli is disgusting! The food always looks stale. The staff in the deli have the worst customer service. Not only do they not want to slice things fresh, they also frequently give you the wrong quantity. The trolleys stop working the second you leave the store which makes it really difficult to get to your car with a child and a trolley full of food. Despite this coles being very close to my home I often opt to drive to further coles because my shopping experience is rarely pleasant here.
I think this Coles may have the best kalamata olives of all the Coles, I just don't know how they do it! My main qualm is that I find this Coles in located a little too far away from where I live and it makes getting my favourite olives quite an arduous task as I have to drive on the ring road which triggers me as I have to drive past the exit I would take when I was dating my ex-husband. Despite this psychological obstacle I will continue to come here for those beautiful olives.
Coles is always a cheapest and the best place to grocery, what makes the difference is customer service, I am a regular grocer here and I found staff to be helpful and cheerful. The fellow customers are also decent and greetful. Parking here is a plus point, plenty of parking lots, yet on a busy day, it gets full. The only issue and absurd thing is, the main road entrance closes for some reason by 2230, for entrance one has to go round the way to the back side entrance post 2230.
Advertised online (Google and their own website) that New Years Day hours meant they close at midnight. I guess they just decided they couldn't be bothered. Arrived at 10:30pm. Ran into several confused people at the doors - one who needed baby formula and nappies. Coles had a guy sitting outside saying, "They decided to close because they wanted to go home." Some people wanted to feed their families on the basis of the hours Coles advertised but screw them, right?
Much smaller than the average Coles supermarket, so the range of items and brands is quite limited. Lately, it's hard to navigate the store, as there's almost always shelf-stocking going on in every aisle - and the stock trolley is almost always parked directly in front of the one item you want... Sooo wish they'd go back to night-fill! Also annoying are the beggars who are a permanent fixture at the rear entrance
Staff are very lovely and car park is very easily accessible. The store however is stuck back in the ‘Coles New World’ era and definitely needs lots of love. About the only change I’ve seen in the past 10 years is a fresher deli and self checkouts. Come on Coles, your staff at this store deserve better! Also, the chicken shop next door has been vacant for a few years. How about putting a Liquorland in there?!
This supermarket really should get extra stars for location- there is a Vinnie's and a post office nearby so it's in a great spot. It's also a short walk from Reservoir train station and there is a bus stop nearby. There is a surprisingly good selection of meat, and specials can be easily located, as shown in my photos. You can also get newspapers here and they have a nice selection of cards and magazines.
2 days back i bought fish from this store, there was a girl working around 8:15- 9:00 pm, seemed asian i think don't know the name, was cleaning the area with disinfecting liquid. upon asking for fish she dropped the stuff, did not sanitise or wash her hands and did not even bother to wear the gloves and gave me fish straight way. it was so disappointing. please keep a check
Would leave a minus if it were an option. This place is a disgrace. Would never be tolerated in suburb closer to head office. In the 10 years I have lived nearby, this supermarket has gone from shabby to horrible. Stock range diminishes continually. Staff are hardworking and lovely. They deserve a better work environment. Locals are likely to be shopping elsewhere.
I'm male and therefore by definition not an expert grocery shopper. I will say that my local coles outlet in Reservoir is very convenient, has competitive pricing, a great range of products and over the years has become very familiar to me as the place to go when I get the munchies ... as well as doing a bulk shop to feed a horde of hungry teenagers.
OK for a small Coles. I'm sure the carpark is filled with cars from the train station. At times the carpark is full and the shop is empty. Big mistake opening a Liqourland next door to the other bottle shop. Now there is a regular group of drunks outside, plus the beggars on the other side. Police have done nothing to clean this area up.
Parking here is limited and a bit rough. Watch your step in the uneven carpark. Um, and be careful of some of the people hanging around, there has been a bit of aggression, a few of the times I have been here. But the Cole's itself is clean and has plenty of variety and fresh food. Trolleys are generally clean and th store is well lit.
It is not well kept. There are three self checkouts that are constantly closed despite the crowds. There used to be beggars outside the doors frequently but not so much lately. It is moderately stocked but don't expect things they show on shows like Master Chef. There often are people stocking shelves during peak afternoon hours.
Honestly , i find Reservoir Coles to be the best arranged . The order of hope different things are stacked is so user friendly , i have compared it to other bigger coles that i have visited , staff is super friendly at all the coles but layout of where and how goods are kept is different. My preferred place for groceries. Cheers
please do something about aggressive junkies, i will give change on my way out to people doing it tough ,but do not wish to have a junkie threaten to "beat me black and blue" for not giving him anything ON THE WAY IN. way not cool and feels very unsafe having them on both entrances, maybe just have them on one if you can/must?
It's just fine for a quick shopping. However, if you're after getting your weekly/monthly groceries and stuff, you would probably want to go to bigger one such as SummerHill Coles, as they have more variety of products. Also, it is not very well organised, you need to struggle a bit to find the stuff.
Nice staff but this is a Coles of last resort. Limited range. Good for essentials late at night but better produce and locally made products can be found at the IGA and local green grocers. Support the independents for more diversity where you can instead of large, homogenous companies like Coles.
good experience at Coles reservoir coles has been always the 1st choice for grocery shopping as well as for car fuel. in this particular coles although it's not that big but everything is always in stock. staff is good no complaints.. huge parking is available outside as you ca see in photos
I am really disappointed. This is the first time when I feel so sad. A security checked my bag because I went around many times to find an pineapple box. Or because I look different from others. It was so rude. I never come back any time. That was an experience which I never want to remember.
You buy food here. Step around the people who cluster about the entrances soliciting donations and accost you in the car park likewise for small change. A real highlight are the folk consuming their purchases made at the many, many nearby takeaway liquor options. Ah, the alfresco life.
This store needs to be renovated or torn down. Poor layout, crowded aisles, and a small selection compared to other Coles. Parking lot is also small and hard to navigate. Really only good for quick trips for a small number of items. Avoid if you can and go to Summerhill Coles instead.
Staff pleasant and shop clean. It's not a very large store but the Liquorland part is right next door. Disappointed with the salad supply but this might be due to the summer fires. This was a Tuesday morning. The car park out the back was pretty much full at 12 noon.
Reservoir Coles was my favourite place to shop. Not unfortunately, not any more. Rude staff slef always empty. if you ask someone for something they keep saying sorry if it's not there we don't have. we'll going to wollies now. Hope they will do something about it.
We used to shop here for a while in the past year. Fruits and vegetables section is very good. A variety of different canned food is available. The staff members are cooperative and helpful. Parking area is spacious and convenient. Good luck for everybody there
I'm very disappointed with the service in Coles Reservoir store. The assisted checkout staff was super rude and didn't provide the service at all. First time did grocery shopping here but the experience tells me I have made the wrong choice to visit this store.
They really ought to expand to cater for a population that has grown and the parking is horrendous. It's had no real upgrade since the 80s by the looks of it and whatever was done to it so far is pretty minor. It's really looking like a ghetto, it's not safe.
The worst place to shop. I never find what I want here and end up having to drive else where for it. The staff are beyond great and deserve much more than this. Don't bother shopping here and wasting your time, best to go else where from the start.
Not much of a selection in comparison to other coles. No aloe vera juice no bread not much variety as far as laundry products. It needs a face lift. Very old looking and tired store. Dissapointing for customers having not much of a selection.
It's not really the best coles store, if I'm to be honest any time they have a sale on a product it seems to run out Or they just don't have it at all in stock! And the security can come off a little aggressive and judgemental at times with
Excellent customer service, fast checkout but who wants too checkout faster, when the staff there is specially Gemma give you a chorus or two that brightens up your day . Gemma very good, should be the the store manager. Thanks Joe
Check out staff are fantastic and helpful every time. Not enough products as a regular Coles as it is a smaller store. Bread availability is average and fresh bread not available at all (no onsite bakery). Deli staff are friendly also.
Great latout. It is a small shop but it is easy to find everything with a small amount of isles (if youve been to the store several times) youcan find everything you need quite quickly. Staff is always friendly and kind.
Staff very helpful, good prices on Cole brand items and great value with the Cole Kitchen Pizza, it's got plenty of topping and variety and great price. Vegies always fresh, but need more variety in the cake department.
Not One Of The Better Coles Stores Needs An Update In Most Departments / Area's, Check Outs Quite Limited, Staff Quite Friendly Parking Is Reasonably Good Unfortunately Always Has Beggars Hanging Around The Entrances
Super market is great. Bit tired of all the beggars that hang about though. I know that sounds harsh but if you work in the cbd all day you get asked for money then after work on the weekends just gets a bit tiring.
Staff are always friendly but the store never has enough variety. Most of the time if I'm after something in particular, I can't get what I need because it's either not in stock or they don't stock the product.
It's small which means not a huge amount of choice, which isn't too bad but they seem to prefer home brands than some of the better brands. Also the clientele there can be pretty sketchy at the best of times.
A great small go-to Coles If you're looking to do a quick basic shop. If I want more variety, however, I would go elsewhere. As someone who can't have dairy, I find the vegan and dairy free options lacking.
Store is smaller than other Coles stores. But has everything you need and every single staff member that I have dealt with has been extremely helpful and very friendly. Happy with their service. …
It's a small Coles shop and you can find almost anything you need here but in overall it needs a lot of love and renovation to make it more welcoming and bright like the other new and renovated Coles.
Too small of a store which means lack of range. Also hard to get to if you have to cross the dreaded intersection of doom in Reservoir. Good staff though. Ok if passing through for a few basic things.
Nothing against Coles but the surrounding is becoming more and more unsafe. Ppl injecting drugs in the middle of the day or beggers always at the front doors. Made the shopping experience a bit sad
This is my favourite supermarket. Have shopped here for around 20 years. Great staff who are always friendly and happy to assist when required. Store layout is great and products easy to find.
Coles seems to be playing tom and jerry basically changing the hours on Coles 10 pm to 12 am then back to 11 pm it's a bit strange but better just leaving it on one specific suitable time
Reservoir coles has been my go-to-supermarket for many years. Its nice but needs renovation. And I also feel sad to see homeless people sitting around at the front and the back entrance.
Showing its age. Under stocked. Needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. Staff are recently and helpful. Better off going to Coles campbellfield, they're much busier but fully stocked.
Pretty low levels of variety, no coffee pods...not out of stock, just not there, wrong demographic...there were lots of variety for instant coffee...ah well, first world problems.
A fantastic experience shopping at Coles Reservoir. Mainly home brand goods so it's reasonably cheap. The one at Summer Hill has better variety of products plus it's near Aldi
For it's location it's great, the store itself is fairly small so has a limited stock of items If you want to do a big shop with a wide variety go to Northland or summerhill
A handy supermarket with plenty of parking and good friendly customer service. Recomend the carpark be kept cleaner though and there is a pot hole or two to watch out for.
Quality of meat there isn't the best. It's the most dusty coles I've ever been in, staff dont seem to notice the open chip packets they often have on shelves either
Staff there are very rude. If you ask for a help they say “I am not allowed to leave this area “ and they don’t even bother to ask somebody else to help customers.
Small but nice store. Good location, well maintained and tidy. You won't get wide range of products here because it's small. Busy place but good service and ppl.
A standard, not so big Coles. It doesn't have the range a big store has, but it has all the stuff anyone would need on a normal supermarket shopping expedition.
The customer service is good. All I have to complain is about not having basic necessary items like eggs, few vegetables being out of stock most of the time.
Small but semi convenient, don't expect them to have everything you want, and for some reason lately they've been closing at 8:30 which can be annoying
It's a supermarket. It feels a little run down, from the outside, but it has all the usual supermarket things you want and the staff are professional.
Shelves not stocked, staff were more interested in Thier phones or talking about gossip with other staff members, no sense of customer service at all
The shop needs a huge refresh. Quite limited stock and variety for some things like coffee, international foods, sugar free alternatives for example.
The location is perfect for me. Really convenient and has almost everything I need. Taking one star as I have seen better staff at other Coles.
Staff are not friendly or helpful. Can't smile and oh dear, don't bother to ask where anything is, they don't know. First and last visit there
A little busy today but had plenty of checkouts open.. didn't have to wait long. Girl at checkout was nice, friendly without going overboard.
Okay Coles, not a massive selection on offer but has most of the essentials you will need. Will travel further to do my main grocery shop.
It's my local and the staff are great. Homeless people begging in the car park entrance makes me think twice about going there sometimes
Great experience, easy parking, easy to find things, clean and good to see trolleys and baskets sanitised after each customer. Thank you
This place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt . It’s tired. Never any stock you urgently need. It’s time this lady had a facelift.
Okay for a quick shop but it doesn't have everything. Needs a reno big time. With the area growing you would think they'd upgrade?
Not too bad as far as Coles go. Everyone seems soo busy stocking shelves. I wish they had animatronic signing fruit and veggies.
Excellent and helpful staff. Delivery to boot experience available now. One stop shop for your grocery and household items.
Very well organised. Staff member outside watching customer make sure scans or write the customer details before entering.
Old store but great to drop in grab some things and head home. Never add an issue with the staff or self serve checkouts.
Best coles in the heart of reservoir, near Reservoir station. Good for a quick supply run. Plenty of parking available.
My local Coles supermarket, have a little variety , not a huge selection depends on what your looking for ! Great staff
Overall nice experience and accessible to all grocery stuff. Just miss to have special Indian grocery section in Coles.
Staff are very kind and helpful, however it is much smaller than most Coles and has a smaller selection of products.
Clean store. Good amount of stock. Still a couple of staff who don't wear their masks over their mouth and nose.
Please don't renovate! this place is like a 90's/2000's time capsule. Sure it is run down but it is nostalgic!
Not much variety compared to other coles. Quiet dangerous I don't feel safe. However staff are always friendly
Not as good as other Coles. Staff are friendly and helpful but often can't find products I would like to get.
This Coles is okay. The parking can be tight at busy times. The fresh produce can also be a bit hit or miss.
5 stars go to Ali and Mikaela in the Deli Always friendly and helpful My favourite in the Northern Suburbs
Staff are lovely but very limited range. Just use this one for day to day, do my big weekly shp elsewhere.
Need to review you times on google. I’m out the front of the store and it’s closed. Says it open at 6am…
I haven't been there yet, tomorrow weekend, I want to visit, I hope I can buy Chinese food here
Great store only had one bad experience and I'll put that down to the employee having a bad day
Good little supermarket except there's usually people sitting outside begging for money …
On the small side, abit crowded and hectic but nothing wrong with the place for essentials etc
The store people are lovely but so many junkies hang out around here dont come at night
Great place to shop to attend. Has good selection of vegis and other food goodies.
This is a small Coles supermarket but has most of the daily products available.
It's a smaller than normal Coles... The range is very limited in some areas.
It's another Coles supermarket. Very neat and clean. Shelves well stocked.
Old store that needs a facelift. Has limited stock due to smaller store.
Go-to place for shopping. Groceries, fruits and veggies are priced well.
