Kylie blonde haired lady who looks after the self service check out accused my daughter of stealing and she had her receipts from all the stores she purchased from. She showed the receipts didn’t even get an apology just said your free to go. Will be calling head office tomorrow. Disgusting customer service she should be ashamed of herself and lucky I was following behind my daughter at the time and seen it happen. I went back and approached her and she did everything to avoid eye contact with my daughter and myself. She definitely needs to go through training on how to approach a customer and politely ask for receipts instead of directly stating your stealing.
I called in at 9.30 pm, grabbed a few items and went to the Express checkout to find it blocked with shopping trolleys and a cart loaded with boxes. I went to look for another checkout. Nothing except self-service open. I walked back to the Express and asked the group of staff gathered nearby talking and was told by one that she's "only doing cigarettes " and I will need to use self service. Perhaps I'm picky, but I am not interested in self serve. Woolworths express lane was open when I bought my things th here a few minutes later.
The name is Joyce, she served my disabled wife on Checkout no. 8 on 05 June 2023 between 1:45-1:50 pm. She was just pushing all the scanned items and my wife kept doing the bagging. I asked her if they no longer doing it, and she said " yes, we do". Unfortunately, she kept pushing the items out and did nothing. She just looked at us and rolled her eyes. Is this the service we get from being a regular customer? You should teach this kind of staffs you have. She's a regular i suppose.
Changed a fair bit since I was a regular Customer. Hate to say it but there is a noticeable increase of laziness, especially with the self serve trolley section. I was literally told at another Store the person on duty at rhe self serve area's won't open too many because it means more work. Felt horrible having to make someone serve me at the Main Register where the smokes ect are kept (Sorry to be a burden)
I'm so sick and tired of going to Coles at Woodgrove and finding so many empty shelves. So I think ok will come back in a few days and try and find the things I missed out on. They never have enough staff on the checkouts. Today was the final straw I went to Woolworths in Woodgrove all the shelves fully stocked and the staff were so good. That is where I am heading from now on. LIFT YOUR GAME COLES
% I will go to Coles woodgrove again.99% of the time staff are very friendly and helpful they are very kind human beings And in the few years i have lived in melton maybe a half a dozen times they may of ran out of something not bad Considering we not long went through a pandemic. Thankyou to all the staff at coles woodgrove for all your help kindnesses and your friendly smile.
Not enough registers open, they are forcing people to use the selfserve checkouts, on Wednesday when I was there only 1 checkout was open and people were lined up to go through that one and not a lot using the new serve yourself checkouts, from what I have seen people want to be serviced. This is costing jobs, we should go back to the old days when there was customer service.
Recently shopped here and the staff who stock shelves run into you and your kids with there trolleys and they dont even apologise for hurting your child. Very careless staff and they are also very unhelpful at self serve checkouts. Management need to step up and teach their staff to be helpful and not be rude and also dont hit customers with your stock on trolleys.
Where did all the nice workers go its all rood now and no one wants to serve you must checkout ourselves most of the time even if you ask to get served its a straight no some people have children and can't do it all The least you can do is have people serving customers with children since the prices are so high now you want us to do all the work aswell shamefull
This store is good to shop and convenient. Love their service of pick ups when shop online. But they really need to work on staff and checkout service as mostly its too busy inside in busy hours. I find this storr bit confusing the way they have arranged the aisles.. good this is its accessible straight from outside near to parking...
It's okay but we went shopping for our weekly groceries at 6.30pm because both myself and my husband work full time and we had to serve ourselves on the self checkout ad no staff were on the register and only 1 lady in the other checkout. When u spend alot of money a week u expect someone to serve u. Where has all the services gone.
As Coles branches go this one is large, fairly comprehensive in its range of products and well run. I have had horror stories at other branches (like one where they closed all checkouts and asked everyone to use the machines) but never there. Always decent service. Nice and culturally diverse too.
Apparently it's ok to steal whatever you want from this Coles just watch three kids in uniform, do it and not a single repercussion of it. And no one does anything because they can't. So if you're game enough to take it, you may as well. Pathetic while we get charged more for doing the right thing
Sort your aisles out. Every time I go here, there's 2-3, sometimes even 4 pallets and those huge steel trolly things in every aisle. The people working here are the laziest people working in Woodgrove, just stock the shelves and move the trolley's so shoppers can actually access them.
After having the store renovated it looks alot better and more inline with the newer stores. The biggest let down is that it needs a reusable section to allow for refills of certain items to cut down on general waste. Staff are generally friendly and help when required.
This place never has anything I'm after in stock. Cat food or litter? Nope. Body wash? Nope. Popcorn? Nope. Every single time I've been here, I've had to walk down to Woolies to get what I couldn't get at Coles. I now skip this place and go straight to Woolies.
Good store hit and miss with some stock levels. One minute they have what you want the next its weeks before you may see the same or similar product available. Coles doesnt have the range/ variety of other supermarkets but this does the job.
Worse customer service requested Kylie for $50 change and was declined and offered to buy something to get change. A million dollar profit Company can't give change disgracefull. A yet 7 eleven was so kind to give me $50 change with a smile.
Click and collect are ususally very good however tonight not happy with the service. Had a time slot arrived twice told not ready yet and when i get a message to say its ready i turn up as did two other ladies to see the store shut tried
Tried to notify Coles that the trolley staff were not wearing masks whilst working. They were not socially distanced and were working with masks under their chins. Advised manager, advised head office, contacted Facebook page with no
Worst service… they got the wrong price for the item, according to the policy they should do the price match but refund at first and then when we asked again they make us to stand there for 15 mins, with our twin babies. As they were
Would usually give 5 stars. Minus 2 Stars because the store managers fail to maintain trolley and basket Steriwipes to prevent Covid19. All too often the dispensers are empty. Store stock item range are pretty good.
I had small cans of condensed milk. Fall on me on Sunday they were on the top shelf and I'm 5'2" so tippy toes I tried to get two cans when they fell on my face...when I went to a casher to tell
Layout is good. Plenty of room without having to rub shoulders with anyone. Not that this is important but doesn't seem to have much atmosphere. If you like a quiet shop, this is the place to go.
I find most times visiting, the stock on shelves is low and poorly maintained, not so neat and some things are hard to find. however, the fruit and veg seems to be pretty good and fresh …
Do not like shelves being stocked through the day time , there isn't enough room to shop just trying to keep out of the way isn't easy doding staff, bad enough keeping out of just shoppers
For me its showing its age ive been going here on and off for 30+ years and by showing its age i mean its getting slightly crammed with stuff the aisles are smaller then a newer store .
A great upgrade from before. It has a make your own coffee section near the entrance and a mochi/macarons pick'n'choose freezer, a much larger scooped 'n weigh section.
They don't use the stupid coin slot trolleys like Woolies does, it's very annoying when you don't have coins so you have to try awkwardly hold everything
It’s a very busy store! Love that they have a coffee machine as soon as you walk in. Shelves are usually well stocked and the staff are quite friendly .
Good place to quickly get on and get out with what you need. It's a tight ispace as shoppers have grown tremendously over the last 2 years
Great customer service. Rita was very helpful with the gift cards this morning. Overall great staff and wonderful shopping experience.
Forcing people to use self checkout and getting annoyed when they don't to. Good on you Coles management. Definitely changing to aldi.
I cannot forget the rudeness and disrespect with which the staff at this branch treated me in the time of Corona
Great store plenty of choices. Not happy about .25cents a paper bag instead of 15cents for the plastic ones.
Amazing service in the deli!!!! All the ladies are bubbly and so helpful. Best meat out !!! …
Good big store lots of choices etc and there open late which is good for us night owls haha
Shelves are usually empty and floor staff push their way through while your try to shop
Excellent customer service skills but the place could do with organisation of stock.
Got really excited about finding the right bargains at a price just right. Yea
I like it, so clean and tidied and staff are helpful. We shop here often
Always a great place to shop, friendly staff and well stocked items
Not a fan of this place anymore as I find everyone is so rude here
Quick, easy efficient staffing, quick self scan register is good
Closes 11. Cutting hours even though made millions during covid
