I would have given a negative rating if there was an option. Being a hurstville local, been in this branch several times, personal and business reasons. The old man you face as soon as you go in I think its Michael is not the most pleasant. But due to an incident few weeks ago, I'm taking my time to write this review. Firstly, While waiting on a queue, this old lady from inside comes yelling at this poor old fella, who's I believe by accident jammed the coin counting thing. Instead of getting help he gets yelled at and the worst" Michael's laughing at him, embarassing him infront of 50 people". I mean come on mate!! he's in his 60, help him out, not laugh and embarass him. Secondly, After my turn came,I gave the old asian lady at the teller "the change slip" to swap notes for coins. She gave me the notes no coins and while I was waiting, she yells at me, "what now"??, Honestly I felt like I got treated like piece of nothing. Was not my fault she could not read the slip. And this is the best, she never gave me coins, insted just gave me notes saying they had no coins at all. I mean honestly, if they dont wanna be at their job better not... heaps of deserving people there looking for job. I've no idea how cba is still running like this. I had to poor my frustration... it was the worst someone treated my all my life, and was not even my fault!!!

I went to hurstville branch on 22/06 about 3:45 pm for transfer the money , the man ( Michael)in the lobby told me that they can’t Serve me today because there are 17 people waiting in front of me, and they close at 5 o’clock, so there is not enough time to handle it for me. I told him this is for settlement next week, and the transfer money service must be handled as soon as possible. The lobby men said that you can come back at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. I said that I have to go to work tomorrow. The man looked my uniform and said, you worked at council, easy to go to work late . I was shocked by this unprofessional attitude, I rushed to the Roseland branch. The staff was very enthusiastic and took me 30 minutes to complete the process. Before closing, I am very grateful to this team, especially Amela, for their attentive service. I hope the hurstville branch can learn from the professionalism of other team.

When the coin counter jammed I sought assistance. The woman who removed the obstruction showed me the reason for the jam: a paperclip and torn off piece of an envelope. I explained it wasn't me who obstructed the machine. She was adamant that it was me because it was in the tray. I'm not the only person to have used the coin counter, and it could have entered the mechanism at any stage without causing an obstruction until later. The personal blame placed on me for something I didn't do and without listening to reason is an off-putting and upsetting experience. I'm genuinely upset at this experience. I just want to use the self service facilities and be on my way. This interaction was so poor that I will be lodging a formal complaint.

Had an issue with transfers for nearly 3 weeks and noone was capable enough to give me the answers. To the point that I had to find out it myself ny sending messages on social media, calling and waiting on the phone for hours to visiting the branch. Finally yesterday went to Hurstville branch and was served by Paige. She was so patient and knew exactly who to contact to get the information and managed to get help internally. From yest to today I finally could see my enquiry progressing and nearly resolved. Thank you Paige for your assistance and I am just grateful to have met someone who could finally help me with my enquiry and go out of her way to listen to a frustrated customer and show some actions.

HURSTVILLE FOREST ROAD BRANCH: I was there just to solve the ATM deposit dispute. But they were not really listening. Instead, just telling me that they have to close at 5 pm, (but time on their clock was still 10min to 5pm) in a Very intimidating & unprofessional way. I understand that they need to close but they could have communicated that in a professional manner. So that alone gave me an unpleasant, awkward experience and confirmed that they don't really care about customers with issues, and that very issue is only because of them. I yelled "why.. ... ..." outta frustration, my bad, I should not have .

Following up on my previous review, **S fix the cash deposit machine, i literally have to skip my lunch break, go to WestPac branch to deposit and transfer to CBA account. Have some shame CBA, and didn't wanted to mention this, but few of my frens have had very bad experience with that dude on the floor and been treated differently. Will move my account soon, along with my trading platform. Can everyone hit this button to say how much you are hating CBA Hurstville. They will check these reviews and let us show them how much we hate their service atm, maybe they will improve.

After I reported Michael for his rude behaviour, I received a call frim Angela of Hurstville Branch. Instead of a sincere apology on behalf of Michael, I was merely told that he was let off with feedback. Is that all? After months of complaints about the same man, you still allow the guy to continue his job therr berating clients? Angela was ill-mannered and unprofessional as she talked over me in an awful attempt of gaslighting me. There is no accountability at this bank! I advise thay everyone quit Commbank at this rate because they are clearly outdated.

Very rude and incapable staff. The staff made mistake on international transfer form, and told me this is what it is, accept it or walk away, then yelling at me "I cannot let you check it here, there are so many people are waiting." She walked out of the room and let me sit there alone. I refused to process the form with incorrect information, and she talked in a despite way "I knew it!"......What a disgusting experience!......Sooner I drove to Mortdale Branch and got everything done in a proper way. Well, not mentioning that I was an ex-CBA staff. So disappointed

The bank tellers are quite responsive and I acknowledge their customer service and efficiency. But, whilst I can't fault the employees specifically, there are many issues regarding ATMs. Often, ATMs will have technical issues such as not being able to withdraw / deposit money or coins, which can really be an inconvenience when you need to pay in cash for quite a few stores in Hurstville. The upcoming renovations seems like a great improvement for the bank though, and that might dictate some changes in this branch.

I am currently waiting to make new account. First, we had a grumpy woman who took information without greeting us. I asked if they had toilets, she showed her angry face at me and told me to go Westfield.. 5 mins ago, another old woman asked for toilet to another staff. She replied they dont have the service but it was very rudely.. update: we’ve been waiting for 30 mins already. Chinese customers came out of nowhere and we are here waiting..

Worst branch in all the country. Got told to go into branch to verify my ID. Got bounced between a few team members. They weren't bothered to call the Net bank support team on my behalf. A taller white lady clocked off at 3:45 saying she doesn't get paid beyond, so just left us hanging there. We have all our funds going into cba, $1.4m in loans with them, and treated horribly. Not impressed. ANZ 4k cash back and lower rate looking good.

Not good at all. It’s been a more than 2month My husband send me a 80$ in my account through mobile number but the amount transfer to another person . Bank said my mobile number is already register to some one name with J Hu. We went there more than 6 times for this case ,they said bank Will charge 25$ for inspection And also we have to wait for more time. We obey their all advice . But after all they are not able to returned a money.

Extremely rude staff, particular the large old man with white hair and glasses named Michael. He was very condescending and ordered me to stand beside a different customer instead of behind (???) He described it as "as if I'm landing a plane." His words and behaviour were totally unnecessary and very rude. After 9 years, I will finally be withdrawing from this primitive bank this year. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

Worst service experience ever, the staff is extremely rude and racist. As soon as I walked in, Michael the concierge looked away and turned his back to me pretending he didn’t see me. When I went back 30mins later, he actually skipped me but serve the Caucasian girl behind. Thanks to Commonwealth Hurstville, made me feel like living in Colonia period that asians are second class citizens.

Worst branch ever. I can’t believe how rude they are. I have been to many banks. The wait is long but they always help and serve you well when it’s your turn. But these ppl are arrogant and rude. They are racist too. If you have nothing to do. You should sit in the waiting room of Hurstville commonwealth bank and watch this Michael at work. You will be gob smacked. Maybe he’s an ex cop.

Short staffed over the Christmas / New Year holiday break. Staff members were shouting and it was very chaotic within the branch. I was inside the branch to use the Coin Deposit machine. It went out of service briefly whilst I was using it. After waiting about 10 minutes, a staff member attended to it. Definitely not the best customer experience here.

I went to close my account today. There was a staff name Luna who was dealing with me. I got notification from cba app about $1.36 waiver and i was confused. I told her what was that. She told me, she did $1.36 waiver to my account, thanks to her for that. But she told me read properly before asking. Why rude reply for that?

I’ve been having an issue with comm bank for just over a month now regarding Apple Pay, no one can tell me when the issue will be fixed. I’ve been in the branch about 6 times, I think they’re just ignoring me until I forget or give up trying. Kerry, customer service MANAGER, makes snide comments about customers on the floor.

I got to the Hurstville branch in Sydney yesterday. I transfer money by a teller. The attitude of the teller is obvious discrimination and not professional in his work. I need to remind him of his mistakes in his work. I was in the branch at around 10 am, the teller is the only male at that time. I have a bad experience.

They made me wait 45mins. Eventually it seems like they forgot me. When asked, the male staff directed me to one of the staff. I said I want my bank statement and the staff replied don’t you have a printer at your home. At the end, after 1hour I returned empty handed. Very poor service.

Worst experience ever. Did not solve my problem at all. I do not believe the staff there were receiving any pre-work training before they actually start their work. Even I asked the number for cancelling credit card plus insurance, they gave me the wrong number. Such wasting my time.
