Hello everyone, please avoid going to commonwealth bank in lakemba because of the worst customer service and they don’t have any ethics. I met with a staff name Akhter regarding proof of balance because i was unable to access it with my commbank app, and this guy asked me to provide a xerox copy of my physical driving license and show the physical license as well, so i showed him digital license in my service NSW app and he said me to get the print of that digital license or else get the physical license and it’s xerox copy as well. usually,they have printers and everything to print off customer identity documents but this guy was very rude and told me to get it print from somewhere and bring it and also the physical license. Moreover, when i brought my physical license and it’s copy, then he print off the proof of balance and threw it on the desk in front of me, i asked him whats wrong with you, is this the way to give the paper then he said I always give customer like this and you got your document so leave now, so i went to the manager and i told him about his staff behavior is not good towards customers it feels like we are beggars not their customers, so he said me he will look after this later on, as he doesn’t care about this type of staff behavior, it feels like we are not in australia, some other country where customer service doesn’t exist. i will close my commonwealth bank account so I don’t have to deal with this kind of service and i will never ever recommend anyone to go to commonwealth bank.

Obviously they are useless as everything u asked them they said call this number they can't help. Very disappointing and staff very rude. I think u should review all the staff and most importantly provide them with customer service all international looks like they r here just to make money no love for wat they doing. When talking to the girl that welcome you in front she looks upset to smile seams like she want to tell u want do u want but can't and she said to everyone there's a waiting of more that 40mins its like she is encouraging people to leave not put their name down. Then u sit for a very long time and they told u call this number they can't help everybody in the branch waiting were shaking they head at each other ridiculous. That's why i pretty much transfer all my transaction with Westpac they are more helpful. but well can't judge a whole company because of a few s....t as i hv been to many other branches with great satisfaction

Manager is too soft and defensive for staff. Majority of staff don’t have professional skills how to talk to customers. They treat change machine users like a homeless people. I pay tens of thousands of dollars in fees to commbank and commsec every year but the staff doesn’t like if I am using the coin or cash change machine. about 5 of staff asked me including a manager about my personal business as I do have big transactions. Now they all know about my business and how I run it even my competitors doesn’t know about it. That’s very nosy. You don’t have any privacy and can’t trust even a bank. I have used many commbank branches and this is the one of the most unfriendly and unhelpful branch I have ever come across. Many Staff members simply don’t want to work. I pay thousands on commission ever year. Commsec is expensive however I still don’t complain and pay them. Now i am thinking to change bank after using it for 15 years.

They don't even deserve one star. Very rude staff rude manager . I don't understand how they got into these jobs if they can't even handle any thing. Every time u go u get answers like we can't do anything so where m i suppose to go if I'm comm bank customer? Specaily the lady at the front Shawrma or shama named lady. Very rude behaviour don't even reply with good manner. Before giving them jobs kindly let them learn how to speak to people then do customer service. Shittest branch in Australia I guess . My problem got resolved by some on help desk when I called. Branch people cant even solve my problem only answer I got was can't do any thing. That Chris guys I think he solved my problem over the phone I told him about branch he was shocked as well. Anyways I'm never visiting lakemba branch again in my life .

Very poor service. U can do and ask for any service at any other branch but when u ask there they always refuse . Mohammad (a guy with the glasses) is the best w worker there whos willing to help and actually help .I went there and they refuse service for my mom Bcoz there's no one who speak the same language. I have recently help translate for a friend and in the past a help translate lot of people when they open an account at different branches and they never question anything but help open account or help with the service we ask for. But at lakemba she said different rule or something . Really bad service and need to get a better worker who's willing to help without asking question like they don't believe what we saying .

I wish i could rate zero (0) stars/ negative stars, either this branch should replace all their staff members or else closed it down because of their poor service commonwealth bank will loose many customers, it’s really sad to see so many bad reviews but when i went there i got the same poor service like others and staff not even willing to serve you, its like they are coming to work just for time pass and getting paid for not providing the service they supposed to. However, they lost one more customer today and they will be soon out of business in lakemba.

To whom it may concern I went CBA Lakemba Brach to discuss my home loan options, I was then welcomed by Branch Manager (can’t recall his name but true gentleman) and Vijay who is a home lender. The way I have been treated i felt like a home and finalised my home loan application there on the spot. Vijay kept me updated from time to time from the application stage to settlement stage. A true satisfied customer and please keep up the good work. Vijay you definitely deserve referrals from family and friends! A big thumbs up guys.

Staff do not want to help. They are fit in immigration department. Only can go if you bring passport, visa, pay slip, Australian id etc in a form of hard copies only and very unlike current technologies, electronic methods and sustainability. It is not the case in any other common wealth bank. May be they are considering lakemba community do not hold progressiveness and either they are old school types or they are facing regular irrationality with locals. But not sure, deeply in assumptions.

I was waited for half an hour, upto then no response only 1 staff was working for more than 10 customers waiting outside, I know social distancing is important but inside the bank only 1 staff was working and it's taking too long for 1 cistomers, I'm still at bank waiting in a queue.i didn't like the service at all.

There are 4 machines for withdrawal but only one machine was Work and other theree were out of service. This is almost every time I go there.. One machine which was active had issue as touch scree was not working. Seem that these ATM machines were installed by Captain Cook ....
