Everytime I visited this branch, I didn't get my problems solved. Many times I waited 40 mins for somebody to assist me and had to leave before receiving any help. A few days ago, the staff member that "assisted" me was very poorly trained, she had no idea what she was doing. She even asked for help to other staff and apparently nobody knew how to make a deposit in u$s on my foreign currency account, a pretty basic bank transaction. The result was my account being negligently closed. On top of that, the asian lady staff member prioritises assisting asian customers first than anybody else, regardless if they arrived after you. The attention in this branch is a sheer nightmare. Sadly is the nearest I have from home, but I will have to go to a city branch only to get proper service. And it is particularly hard to see how low the rate of this branch is and they apparently do nothing to improve it.
We have a Charity account at the Marrickvllie Branch. On 2 separate occasions, two of us went to the bank to open or to renew a term deposit account. The first occasion was 12 months ago, and the second was 2 days ago. The first time we were looked after by Ms Elizabeth Glavas, the Customer Services Specialist. Within 20 minutes it was all done in a calm courteous and professional way. The second time, 2 days ago, we were looked after by the manager himself. He went out of his way to get us the best rate and to ensure we understood the terms and conditions. For such a busy man, we would call this going beyond the call of duty. A sincere thank you and a definite 5 stars to each of these 2 professional , caring, and talented people.

I advise all customers to change banks, as other banks are more than happy to accommodate you. Commonwealth Bank has got too big a market share & is now out of control ! Get Out Of There !!! Members of this bank don't just wake-up angry for No reason, the banks own incompetent KYC team will steer you into their world of madness ! 'The most arrogant bank in Australia' just go anywhere, but not here!

For some reason they built a counter the width of the building that seats 6 tellers, and installed computers and tills at each one....they then sit 2 tellers there ..maybe 3 if the line reachs 50 people...and they employ 12 other people ...as far as I can tell 5 sit in each others cubicle and laugh and talk , 3 sit at the front desk say hello and try and stop you from coming in by making you aware of things like ATMs and internet banking and then to say theres a long wait ...and the other 5 people walk around with pieces of paper looking confused...bring on crypto!
Been with commbank since I was 14 years old. Today I went in to get a loan with my partner. It took 3 people to figure out their own website and 3 hours of them asking us the same questions for them to decline us for the loan. I’ve been working full time for a year and my partner has steady income as a contractor and now a full time employee. On a bad month we have an excess of 2 grand. There is no reason we should have been declined for this. Pathetic service. I’m going to switch banks. I heard Bendigo is good. Better interest rates there too.
I went there on the weekend as they open on the Saturday until 2 pm. Hue~ I needed some cash without card. All the staffs informed me how to withdraw without card. They showed kindness and well presented to deal with customer's difficulty. All the staffs are kindness and smile at the time. They presented great communication with customer and made me happy to sort out my private bank issue. Not sure weekdays staffs but weekend staff were very effectively working with customers. I will visit one day again! Hope see you guys again! Cheers
I have to agree with the previous review. As a customer and superannuation shareholder of the Commonwealth bank, it really disappoints me that Australia's biggest bank is the biggest investor in dirty coal projects that jeopardise Australia's global responsibility to reduce our Carbon output. I hope the Comm Bank board can find a better use of their investment and help us move toward an innovative and clean energy future.
the home loan manager Nab just kept calling me three times a day for half a year, after I discussed with him about home loan half year ago. what a harrassment. I will call police if this situation continues. I would never apply a home loan with commonwealth bank. The manager is just crazy. STOP calling me. After hundreds of calls, you should get the message already.
ATM malfunctioned and took hundreds of my dollars in a failed deposit. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful and claim they cannot check the cameras; what's the point of having them then? Totally useless, I'd have been better off talking to a wall. Looking forward to having this resolved so I can close my account. What an absolutely garbage institution.
I only bank here because I have an interest only loan from CommBank. When it switches to interest and principal, I'll be leaving them immediately. I cannot go there without them harassing me to get a credit card, buy insurance, open a new account etc. The pressure sales tactics they used is ridiculous. Only bank with them if you have to.
Very rude teller withdraw some money on behalf off my mum which she is in nursing home had the most unfeeling. Its not your money we put in there so it can be safe.so when someone withdraws don't ask questions what its for its damm none off your business. Feel like just withdraw all and go somewhere else so bloody rude
Customer Service Specialist Vy was super nice and helpful, created trust from the start i walked in with my problem and she was really professional and kind. very disappointed in the rude and unprofessional manner. would not visit this branch again. would not let me to check my bank transactions history. ask him to unlock my bank history. he said he already did. but I checked when I left the branch. it still locked. totally useless.
Helpful staff but can be a bit unbearable. They are however always able to help and also teach people how to use technology relating to banking. A few ATMs to choose from but they seem to go out of service quite regularly. The lines are short and the tellers are fast.
I was thinking of switching to CommBank but I found out they are the biggest funders of polluting coal projects in Australia. Due to its poor climate policy, I will not switch my bank. I don't want to be part of this!

Teller is rude and unaccomodating. Got the same business done at another branch and they were so much more helpful and friendly. Also hard to find a parking spot.
Overall friendly staffs but teller was too busy in peak times and only 2/3 staffs in the teller. Should have been more though. Waited about 15-20 minutes in line
Worst customer experience, I have experienced in my life. Anna at the teller, you can't ask personal questions from the customer. What a useless branch of CBA.

After 23 year s of Banking with CBA they went and stuffed up everything with my accounts even though there was nothing wrong.
