I needed assistance banking a cheque that was not in my name. It was from the ATO and made out to ‘The Executor of the Estate’ of my late wife. I was unsure if I could put it into my personal account, even though the executor is me. So I attended the branch albeit 5 minutes before closing. I was greeted by Sera. What an exceptional young lady. I explained the situation and she went out of her way to help me. There were a whole bunch of things that needed to be queried, which she checked and kept me in the loop on. I was prepared with relevant supporting documentation and Sera expressed her appreciation that I was so well prepared. Sera then assisted me to the teller counter and provided clear instructions to the teller as to what the system required in order to ensure the cheque was processed. This was a very emotional time for me, as it’s one of the last things I need to finalise from my late wife’s estate. Sera took the time and was so very helpful and professional in everything she did for me. I was so impressed that I came home and told my son. He described her and said that she had assisted him a couple of weeks ago and he too was impressed with her exceptional customer service. Oh. And as an addendum, because the bank was almost at closing time, when I arrived, and past closing time when I was leaving, there was a security guard called Lann on duty. I know he is not a bank employee, but he was also very friendly and very welcoming. He noticed that I had a Liverpool football club T-shirt on and we had a quick chat about how well the team was going. Has he assisted me to exit the branch. I would highly recommend this branch to family and friends in need of assistance with their banking.

While I was waiting in the line, a female employee got a chair for me to sit on. When I asked "How much longer do I have to wait to open another account?" She replied, " It won't take long because you're an existing customer and as soon as I'm relieved here, I'll do it for you straight away" people should be held accountable for 'their word' which was her promise to me. She was relieved, went inside and I expected her to come back to get me. When she didn't, asked the woman in suit, who told me a gentleman had an appointment and that's who she was attending to. Had I known that, I'd have left to get xray in Parramatta before 4.30pm. A while later, a gentleman Ken, called me in to a room opposite the lady's, attended to me professionally. It did take longer than I thought, but I left happy with a new account with 'new" name and the annoying issues in app were solved. It was well worth the extra time, so after I'd finished with Ken, went accross to make a deposit with a teller for the new account. Asked for manager, he wasn't in today. Told teller my experience with Ken and would she pass it on to the manager, also my utter disatisfaction and disappointment with the lady also glowing compliments of Ken, I couldn't give to him personally. Ken gets the 4 stars, young lady, 2 for getting me a chair to sit on while I was waiting.

So when I had contacted commonwealth bank to make a transfer I had told how come they wouldn’t let me do it over the branch and I was told on the phone I could do it in person at the branch even the person I was speaking to was surprised they said that I couldn’t transfer funds over the branch as they told me they have the same system as doing it over the Phone and they were like you know you can use your internet banking when I had told them 100 times I couldn’t access My internet banking due to a dispute going at the moment and the specialist I was speaking on the phone with had even told they going to file a complaint to the branch never going their again useless as bank tellers, such incompetent staff

Absolutely disgusted by the service received on Monday 5/12/2022 10.25am by customer service attendant "SERA" constantly ignored, then finally told the incorrect information to sit on the chair someone will call you, then to be told by another representative I was meant to line up to see a teller, then after lining up for over 15min being told by the teller "SERA" she was the person I was meant to see for my banking issue to be resolved. Never have I been treated so rudely, intentionally misled, then to be looked at horribly as I decided to just leave. Commonwealth need to seriously consider why this attendant "SERA" used such unprofessional tones, service, ingnoring simple requests and just impolite and Rude.! Considering Cancelling all business with Commonwealth and going to Westpac.

I will give zero if I can, I am here today for open a business account, a man told me waiting for 45 mins, I can walking around and come back later. When I backed, he disappeared and a very UNFRIENDLY lady here. Terrible customer service, she told me 45mins waiting as well. I told her I already make appointment with last staff, she just let me stay there and waiting. When 30mins more waiting I came in, they just ask: “r u open a account for business?” Then they told me one more hour waiting Firstly I don’t understand why they need one more our waiting. I did that before in other Commonwealth Branch, only 20 mins everything done. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, WOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SUFFERED.

The inquiries staffs were nice, friendly and helpful but for the tellers. They are rude and unprofessional. I have been using their change machines for a while and it was out pf service. I was told to go the teller. She gave me a paper with the change that is listed in a middle column and ask me to fill it in but didn't explain to me how does she want it. I filled it in the way I normally do with my change machine. This lady then made me did it again because it was not the way she wanted. She wanted it not just the amount but also the total. I guess next time I will just wait for the machine to work because this teller was not helpful.

Worst service ever. Waited in queue for 30 mins to withdraw fund since my daily limit doesn't cover. Wanted to talk with manager about the tellers behavior and he is not in Branch. Apparently the second incharge served me. She is very rude and not helpful at all. Lucky I do all my transactions online and don't see these ugly behaviours. CBA should take care ofthe attitude of their staffs. Date and time could be tracked for this post. If CBA is interested, they can investige. Before they prmote such person to higher positions should give a though. I don't feel like to visit this branch anymore.

This isn't a review for the branch itself. Today I just wanted to applaud commonwealth bank for looking past people's disabilities but looking at their abilities. Today I was on the phone to a man working for commonwealth who had Tourettes Syndrome. He was amazing in helping me with exactly what I needed efficiently over the phone. Thankyou commonwealth. 19 years of banking with you and this experience made me so happy and proud to be with commonwealth.

The most kindest security guard I have ever met. He guided me to where I needed to be and also approached me despite it not being his job. He assisted me well, and I didn’t need the assistance of the other staff (18/09/2023). He helped me once again when I went today (21/09/2023), although they were about to close he helped me, and guided me to staff that assisted me further. Such helpful, kind and thoughtful staff! Thank you!

21/06/2022 around 3:15P.m. Bad customer service with 0 preparation. This lady called Dona served me and she started lying that we can't give out more than 5k and that u need to arrange an appointment. 1month ago i withdraw 4times that money without any appointment. Her response to that was that u got lucky !!! Been with commonwealth bank for over 10years , i have to say i am very disappointed.

My wife went there for a bank cheque for 'Lain & Simmons, Mount Druitt' . But they said without account no. of 'Lain & Simmons, Mount Druitt' they can't do that. I talked over phone with one staff and she confirmed me without account no. its not possible. However, I did same thing for 'R&W Rooty Hills' few months ago from Commonwealth Bank Parramatta branch and they are really helpful.

I usually have a good experience here but when I went to get change at the counter today, a man said to use the change machine but someone else was using it and it takes longer to use the machine. the man said they would not give me change at the counter even though I said I've done so twice but he gave me attitude and said "you can try if you want to" and laughed at me. y'all wild.

Good customer service by Natasha & her peers, I could see they were taking special care for the elderly and came to me to apologize for the slight wait. Henry with this 20+ yr experience helped me out with a complex bank guarantee application . Overall, wasn't expecting much from the bank but was blown away with the customer service and efficiency.

Went there to inquire about two things (pay off loan and to inquire about time deposit) Lady in the reception that screen inquiry and lady in the teller were rude and not friendly at all. Staff was not willing to help. :(
