Negative experience from start to finish. Worked with Toni Dempsy who never called back or replied to emails after my deposit was placed, and because of her lack of communication I was left homeless for a week due to an incorrect move in date being provided. A full furnished property was downgraded to partly furnished and the move in date was delayed (zero contact until after I was supposed to move in). I spoke multiple times to her colleagues and manager explaining the situation, everyone was extremely apologetic saying this was not normal behaviour but no changes were made until 2/3 days until the reassessed move in (after I sent an email suggesting I might be able to do that new date) where she became far more cooperative, calling instantly. I tried to be patient throughout and gave the whole company more than enough of an opportunity to change my view. After moving in in she replied to her emails with about a months delay apparently after being “on holiday”. I hope that this review can help the company develop their customers experiences in future as they are dealing with peoples living situations and so should be ethical at least on a basic level. I hadn’t planned to leave a bad review but I have now received a parking ticket for parking in the space supposedly registered to the flat which was the final straw. Which I have also emailed about.

Absolute joke and garbage. On Saturday I called them that I wanted to see a house for rent. I was told someone would call back. Since no one called back I sent them a message from their website. Of course, no response. So I called on Monday and after pre-registration, I was scheduled for Tuesday. The address was to be given to me on Tuesday morning. Of course no one called so I did. This time I found out that the viewing is not on Tuesday but on Wednesday. The landlord gave them access to the house from 5pm. When I asked how is it possible that I have an appointment at 4:40pm when they have access from 5pm, the lady couldn't answer. I was told they would call me back. Called back Wednesday morning the viewing is at 5pm. Thursday they called saying the landlord had accepted us but someone was offering £25 more for the rental and would we agree to a higher price. We disagreed. On Friday they called that the owner had decided to take ours and they wanted us to pay a deposit. Since we were both at work, I arranged for them to call on Monday morning. Surprise surprise - they didn't call. So I called only to hear that it is no longer valid because someone else paid the deposit. Avoid this company like the plague

Connells leicester city centre branch- Absolutely rubbish Terrible customer service, zero communication,& zero motivation to sell your house. If your house is not selling you will discover, they have zero strategy or alternative ideas to find a sale. They Will happily just leave your house on the market & do nothing & just hope it sells. Everything from feedback, changing pictures or updating your listing takes 2-3 weeks & even then you will need to call several times to push them to complete the update.They tell you they will manage your viewings however this is false as they expect you to do your own viewings which is not what i signed up for. Far from a premium service promised at nearly 4k. Remi - useless/ liar Adam - con man/salesman/ none existent

He and his team have been very professional ,efficient kept me updated of the progress of my mortgage, he helped me sort out building insurance etc. Ravi is very efficient, simply explains you the whole process and made it look so easy. Although, we took a lot longer than planned; he did not flinch once or try and rush us which is something that we have found with other companies. Very good service here. I've brought my house through the agency and become a lifetime member with them. They sent remortgage reminder each time when my current one is expiring soon. I've done all my mortgage/remortgage with them each time so far. The mortgage advisor Ravi is very hard-working and when I can't find a suitable time to book an appointment with him on weekdays, he even helped my mortgage matters during the weekends.

What can I say , from start to finish , the standard by which all estate agents should conduct business. Joe Riley at the Leicester branch was excellent, from the moment we met him on the appraisal day to agreeing the letting was so smooth and effortless, Joe was also friendly throughout the whole process and kept us informed at every stage. I rang to view an empty property up for sale that is up for new auction. They took all my details name and property etc. They only offered me a viewing of the property I wanted to view 4pm onwards as they had got other viewing at the time. I've asked for day time viewing so we could see external roof, brickwork and guttering etc. A week has gone passed no call for a viewing but to come and value my property.

Worst letting agents ever, don’t even bother going in for anything. You have a problem, nobody will answer or respond to your email. I paid rent upfront,something before due and reference checks failed It’s so frustrating, I don’t wish this on anyone. Just avoid them for your piece of mind

Connells only accept offers from buyers who purchase mortgages and solicitors via them so they get all the commission.There selling fee is way to high and you must wait 28 days cooling off period to relist with an alternative estate agent AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!
