I rarely give out reviews but this is something’s I like to share. Our journey started with searching for a home and as you can appreciate this can be challenging at time. We came across a property we liked, put in an offer, got the ball rolling. As time progresses things were happening from both seller solicitor and buyer solicitor. My key contact was “Neel” from the Leicester branch of William H Brown, who every week looked at the progress of my purchase and kept me informed of delays or if it’s on track. I can honestly say that “Neel” dedication for thinking customer was in his blood, he put in all the effort to make things happen and push things along even though it may not be in his scope but he will find the answers for you. Neel and his boss Rob took care of everything and did not leave it on my plate to action. I would surly go to WHB again and absolutely recommend them to anyone. I would also suggest, have a listen to their recommendation for using solicitors due to the fact W.H Brown are well seasoned estate agents and know what they are doing. Lastly this purchase was from my MOM, being elderly did not understand the day to day house purchasing talk and I was working overseas and still was able to keep in touch with Neel. I filled in a form online to register my interest in a free valuation. From that minute- I have been on a rollercoaster of positive encounters and experiences. I had a call straight away from Mia who was so friendly over the phone and reassuring as this is a very big scary step- selling a house I love!! I was then met with Chloe, a young knowledgable hard working patient - just amazing young lady. I was truly relieved to have her sit me down and talk through everything with me- Chloe was so warm and positive about my house- and verbalised all the features she loved and that really made me want to go with WIlliam H Brown. She came prepared with price comparable houses in my area and didn’t put any pressure on me to choose them- and gave me the time I needed to decide but also explained the whole process and who are involved (solicitors, photographers, viewing agents etc). Chloe, made the whole daunting feeling go away. Thank you- and she’s so approachable and easy to chat to- and has made herself available to me whenever I have any queries- I’m really grateful. and my cats loved her so much- they never come round guests unless they feel safe and happy.

I highly recommend William H Brown, Leicester to buy or sell a house with. I'm doing both and the service is absolutely Excellent. The staff are amazing and super helpful. The manager Rob Anderson leads a great professional team and the staff go out of their way to be really helpful. All questions are answered quickly. Jordan is a great asset to the team and has been extremely helpful. I can also recommend Geeta who is part of the Sequence group for mortgages, life insurance etc. She has found me a great mortgage and competitive life policies and has put everything in place so that I dont have to do anything at all. The team all work together and will handle everything for you no matter what comes up its always sorted quickly and professionally. Rob and Jordan gone above and beyond in helping me from start to finish. On moving day everything went smoothly with immediate communication from the agents there were no problems at all. The original pre-contract visit to value the house was conducted by Joe Perriam who was very enthusiastic and professional and although the costs were higher than another agent who had recently sold 3 houses on our road we had more confidence in W H Brown getting our asking price than the other agent. This confidence was not misplaced as we had the manager Rob Anderson dealing with our sale and he was superb, always answered his mobile if available and if not would ring back very shortly afterwards. The sale by most standards apparently went through quite smoothly but to us it was a nightmare at times but Rob would always step in and chase things up and re-assure us that it would be OK in the end -which it was but not before we had a number of late in the day telephone conversations concerning solicitors failing to act with any level of urgency! Overall I was impressed with the quality and professionalism of W H Brown and the excellent communication was a bonus. Would definitely recommend them to others.

I arranged a viewing for a property in Leicester - a fairly long commute from my current residence. A day later, as I was scrolling through Zoopla/RightMove again, I noticed that the property was stamped "Let Agreed". However, nobody called to cancel my appointment. I waited another day or so before I contacted the company, who insisted that the property was, in fact, still on the market, but it was receiving too much interest so it was taken down, and that I should come to the viewing as planned. I explained that I was yet to recieve a confirmation email with the details of the property - postcode etc, and I was reassured that they were being sent to everyone that day. It was never sent. When I called to confirm the day before, and to get the info I needed, I was told it was no longer on the market. This company seems very unorganised (as far as lettings/tenants are concerned anyway) - a simple update via email or phonecall would have made this experience a lot less stressful.

I first came across this agency in 2019 when looking to buy my first investment property. I was really impressed with their agent called Neil as he was really helpful, polite and you could see he loved what he did. Although my offer wasn't accepted by the vendor and I didn't secure the property through this agency I was left with a really good impression. So when I needed a letting agent this year, they were the first agency on my list. This time I liaised with the lettings team and booked a lettings valuation with Paul, he was great, took his time to explain everything clearly without being pushy. The whole team is super helpful, professional and they keep the communication going, keeping me updated every step of the way and they always respond super quick. Neely has also been good at progressing things in the background and Joseph has been superb, they found me a tenant within a few days, infact it only took 2 viewings. Well done and thank you guys!

We used William H Brown for our son’s house sale, which is the third time we have sold through the Leicester Branch. Each time they managed to sell our property within days of it being advertised and at the right price, which was amazing as the last sale was during lockdown! We are all aware of the horrors of selling and buying a property, definitely very stressful and this recent sale was during the lockdown which didn’t help matters at all. However we are pleased to report that WHB handled everything professionally and with minimum fuss. We think there are often problems during the process of buying and selling property and we believe WHB understand this, showing empathy and support when necessary. We most certainly needed support in our last sale with the conveyancing company as they were a nightmare and thank you to Rob for helping us push the completion through. All the staff at WHB were very helpful and we would highly recommend them. 1

I used WHB after I got a flyer through my letterbox for a free valuation. After a thorough and quick valuation and discussion about options ( without obligation / they weren’t pushy ) I sold my property through them. I got a price well over what I was expecting. It did stretch over the covid period and lockdown and similar to another review on here the team at WHB really pushed to get the sale complete. I dealt with Robert who kept me informed and always replied to messages and at one point even helped clarify legal issues. On that note: my only caution would be not to use their preferred lawyer team ( if you have your own - stick with them) as they were the biggest hold up throughout my sale ( Premier Property Lawyers/ Conveyencer I Patel) WHB are great and cannot be faulted. Dealing with them was stress free. Highly recommend the estate agent team. Keep up the good work.

Please avoid their mortgage brokers. Worst service that I have ever received. Took months too long, as there was no contact with that person. There was a lot of promises and reassurance until the moment I have done all the payments. After this, reaching them was nearly impossible. They had a landline broken for weeks. When asked in branch why they did not reply to my emails either, the assistant laughed at my face saying they are busy. There was a lot of information passed on that untrue as well. When asked to provide a report with dates regarding my case, I got a summary written quickly and send via email The only prove of the work that was done included one month's message with the bank. Please, any potential buyers, avoid this place for your own sanity and find better brokers.

We were searching for a house for ourselves in Leicester but we were based in London. So, it was a bit of a nightmare travelling to and fro. What really put us off on most of the viewings was the fact that the estate agents were just not bothered to answer our queries. But our experience with William H Brown, and especially with Kyrrell, was totally different. They were ever so welcoming. Kyrrell took us around the property and showed us every room. He was so patient with our queries and answered all of them without any hesitation. We were warmly welcomed in by Kyrrell and he was really friendly throughout. He's definitely an asset for the company. You guys are really very professional and passionate about what you do. Please keep it up!

Kyrell is really customer friendly, proactive and helpful. He was very detailed in providing information, I find that he is very patient to allow me view different properties both in person and digital. I can not recommend them enough. The whole team work amazingly well together, answering questions and knowing all their properties and not just the ones they are assigned too. After selling our house in early January and having huge problems with the property we were purchasing ( which eventually fell through) Robert and the team helped us through a new purchase even though it was not being sold by them. After previously having problems with another estate agent we went with W H Brown who in reflection we should have go with at the beginning. They actually managed to sell our house before it even went on the market which under the current climate is incredible. Having to sell my home was a very sad time for me, and the house selling as soon as it hit the market was also a shock, but a blessing. I wish I had enough time to list all the things wrong with this company, having used them for almost 2 years to fully manage the rental of my properties; I can say it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. Not only have the let my brand new property to tenants that within a month trashed it and been and have been arrested for nuisance in the neighbourhood. Their management of the properties have been awful, you end up having to keep chasing them weeks on end or do it yourself. Just avoid this company all together, it’s an estate agent from hell.

All of our dealings with her have been prompt and very professional, though our contact has been over the phone. Sarah's comes across as a kind and cheerful person, who will go that extra mile even though she doesn't have to. This letting agency is a huge letdown! They keep saying they'll get back to me, but it's all talk and no action. Whenever I call for an update, they just hang up on me! Seriously rude! They don't seem to care about their customers at all. Who treats people like this? Save yourself the headache and don't bother with this agency. They're unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful. I'm warning everyone I know to stay away from them. Find a better letting agency that actually gives a damn about their clients.

Recently bought a new house through W H Brown Leicester and i was very impressed with the team throughout the whole process. In particular, Neel who showed us the property and Rob. Neel was enthusiastic, followed up quickly and wasnt pushy for our thoughts and next steps on the property. Rob was great through the offer process and following up right to the last day when we had a confusion over timing to pick up keys. Fantastic service. My property was sold subject to contract less than one week after it was listed with photos. I use William H Brown for selling my properties mostly. The reason behind this is that I like to talk to a real person and see a real person face to face. Leicester Branch is always getting me customers over the asking price. I get regular update of what is going on whether its photo shoot or a viewing. I get an email and a text when a viewing is booked and also get a call when their clients put an offer. Their service is super great.

Although we unfortunately had to pull out of buying the house we had lined up through William H Brown, I can only speak highly of the service we received. Robert and Geeta have been very helpful at every stage and we never felt pushed into anything, as can sometimes happen with estate agents. Been looking for a property to rent as I saw one of interest on Zoopla. Tried for over a week to get in touch, and they don't even bother answering the phone. And on the two occasions I got through to someone from the sales department, they say they're taking my number and info to pass onto the lettings department to call you back but they never do. I give up. Going elsewhere.
