If I could give negitive stars I definitely would. I went and got a car my first 3 days having it I went to go to work and I wouldn’t crank up when I called to let them know and asked if they could go pick it up they stated that I’d have to get cables from my parent and when I let them know that I didn’t have any they said I should ask a neighbor and by they I mean Gary! Finally they came to my house to get the keys and the mechanic came to the door and said ummm your not answering your phone but he was talking to my mom because I was at work. I sat an appointment for them to get the car because it needed an alignment and tires and I was still in the warranty which is 1000 miles or 30 days. I let them know i could not bring it in because I worked early mornings and it was impossible they didn’t give me an option of a tow truck and they wanted me to figure out how to get it to them I owed 500 more for the down payment and I let them know I would not be paying it if they didn’t fix what wasn’t working on the car which also included heat coming from the driver side undercarriage. So while at work on August 28th they picked the car up. When I called they tell me that they took the car because I didn’t give them the $500 so I asked for the $500 that I gave for the first part of the down payment. Stating that I asked you to fix what was faulty on the car and I’m under the warranty and Tony the finance manager told me that’s not going to happen I’m not gettin anything back. So I went down there and asked him to show me in the paper work where it stated that I couldn’t get my money back. He highlighted passages in the paperwork and says it says it right here. it doesn’t say in the paperwork that you can’t give me my money back on a car that I don’t have thats under the warrenty guidlines and he brings 3 other guys in there to try and tell me the same thing. There still is nowhere in my paperwork that says they don’t give back money for a downpayment on a car that they get back and that they refused to actually fix things that’s wrong with it. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go there the inventory is little the workers are unprofessional and the cars are GARBAGE!!!!!! Gary one of the salesman is beyond CREEPY. I felt so uncomfortable. If you go there just be prepared for you to get a car that is trash that will probably break down soon and if you are outside of the warrenty that will all fall on you.

Horriable expierence!!!!!!!!I just bought a car from these guys last month the day before they give it to me (after I already put a down payment on it) they tell me they were fixing a tear in the apolstry so I couldnt have the car yet. I come back days later to see not only had the apolstry not been repaired but someone had driven the car causing damage to the tail light which was cracked and dents and fresh scrapes all ove side of car, that should of been my first clue not to buy it but they promised me to fix the light and buffed some damage off of it. I leave with car and 1st day almost die on freeway because the tire completley shreds at 70 miles an hour i have to spend a few hundred on new tires after being told by Les schwab that the back tires were 13 years old. Then 29 days later the radiator and engine goes I call and tell them, thinking any decent buisness would rectify this, since there is a 30 day warranty but they refuse to by stating because I left state on family emergency. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HEARD OF AN ENGINE BLOWING ON A CAR 29 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE AND THE CUSTOMER BEING BLAMED AND CHARGED WITH THE ENTIRE CAR LOAN AND COME TO TOW IT BACK TO ARIZONA. I am a mother struggling with 3 children, with now no way to get back to Arizona and all the owner can tell me is they refuse to help me and want the car back. These people have no remorse for completely screwing me over with a lemon!!! I have contacted Attorney general and still making my report to BBB as well as getting legal assistance. Do not buy from these guys they will pretend that they are a trustworthy company but they are crooks. The owner and manager Miguel are the most unprofessional people I have ever delt with.

I will never buy from these people again and I highly recomend that anyone else stays away from there as well. Believe me there are plenty more car dealerships in the valley that are willing to work with someones bad credit to waste your time here. They are so over priced it isn't funny. They take advantage of the fact that you do not have good credit. I bought a truck from them that within the first week I had to take back to have them fix something that had to do with the gas tank and they had it for over a week. Not even 3 months later I had to spend $1850.00 to have the transmission replaced, not to mention the truck had sooooooo much rust underneath that everytime i would back out of my driveway there was a little pile of rust on the ground and they had the nerve to tell me " well it takes a very long time for rust to eat through", when i asked them to help me get into another car. The rust had eaten a hole in the exhaust manifold it had a water leak somewhere and i was having to put water in it every other day... I had gotten behind a little on my payments and had talked to Tony telling him I had the money to catch my payments up but I really needed their help getting something else. They were not willing to help me and I was not going to put out the money to catch up my payment for that truck and still have to pay thousands to fix all the repairs plus still pay them $7,000.00 for it HAHAHA. they take advantage of females going in there that dont know any better..... DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE YOU WILL REGRET IT

20 days ago my fiancee and I bought a 2009 PT Cruiser from them. Suddenly, the car dies and this oh so sweet and nice dealership suddenly becomes rude and insensitive. They tell me a tow truck won't be out for quite sometime. Being 8 months pregnant and stranded with a 6 year old, I tell them I'm going to find a way home. They tell me just to leave the key with the car. I don't even bother asking what they'll do if the car is stolen. I ask how long they'll have my vehicle. The response is "I don't know". I ask days or weeks. Again, I'm told I don't know followed by "I just had 3 cars towed in today." Now I ask if they will reimburse me if I pay for repairs, so I can have the vehicle up and running in a timely manner. I literally get laughed at and am told there is no way they would do that. I HIGHLY advise going elsewhere. To me, it seems as if they sell lemon vehicles in hopes they'll be drivable passed the 30 day warranty. Now I can only hope they won't do a shotty job on my car because chances are they'll keep it until the 30 days is up. The unfortunate thing is, I bought a car from them many years ago, and I chose to go with them again even though I was advised against it. 4 of their vehicles break down in a day. I can't imagine what their month looks like if I may have to wait weeks to get my car back.

I bought a car from them about two weeks ago. I went to several other "buy here, pay here" places around there and non of them impressed me. I walked in and walk out with a car that day and my credit is horrible b/c of my divorce last year. I did think the price for the car was a little steep because it was an older car, but the services they offer with the car are great. They were polite and professional. We told them what they needed and they delivered. After the 30 day warranty, they will still work on your car for a discounted price and allow you to make payments on the mechanic bill, which is great for me b/c I can't pay $500-$2000 all at once if my car breaks down. They also offer to check your fluids for free if you come in. Overall, it's a great company. ( And YES, to Hoffer with the bad review, they require "collision" insurance on the car that way if you wreck the car and it's your fault, they don't come out on the short end. Otherwise,people would finance a car, accidentally have a collision, and try to walk away and not pay. That's NOT unreasonable. It's just protecting their business)

They seem cool at first just like every other third party car dealer. They will sell you a car that will last a few months out your contract then when the car breaks down they can’t do nothing for you and they want you to pay for a car that’s nonworking. We asked Miguel if we can trade our car out or if there was a waiver of some sort b/c they want me to take my car into THERE shop for a week. How can I make it to work and pay my car note on a car I do not have access to? “That’s just cars” he says how many cars you guys have where the transmission and alternator goes out in six months.(not the only problems, we fixed most ourselves) That’s not just cars that’s just your guys cars. You persuaded us to get a car we could barley afford but we bought it because you said you will work with us through the whole process we trusted you and you failed us. Cause every problem we run into it’s our problem and you can’t do anything for us.

This review is a reply to Mr. Hoffer's negative statement. I have reviewed numerous website where Consolidated Auto is rated very highly. (**Those of you who have not visited...go see for yourself) The quality of service is impecable and they offer quality vehicles and reasonable prices. They "work" with people that have challenging credit...and they are "great" at what they do. This is a family owned busincess and they make you "feel" llike family. I have referred my own family and friends to them. I am sorry to hear your client had such a negative experience as she is in a very small percentage. 99.9% of us have had a wonderful experience. **FYI - it is always a good option to maintain full coverage on a vehicle that is still being financed...the loans here are much shorter and she could drop to liability coverage when she owns it...next year.

Just paid off our loan today. I agree with most others here that the Sales folks were great. However; the office staff are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. As I said, I called today to payoff our loan. We have never missed a payment nor been late. I could not even understand the female who answered the phone then was transferred to Tony. Tony was very short with me and then I was transferred to Julie. When she came on the line, the first thing she said to me was "what are the last 4 of your card#". I probably will not go through these guys for another loan in the future because their customer service once you have a loan with them - SUCKS!!!!!!!! If I could post a 0 I would. Greedy dealership. Dishonest!!!! Etc. I brought the pos car to them directly at their lot on 16th st..since it was garbage. Yet they say it was involuntary repo!! Bs. Cars ate priced just under double their value, and then(if that's not enough)they charge approx 25% finance rate! I was told my car was just fine tho the transmission kept sliping. The lying scum said Buick's are like that!!! Hilarious. BTW, I took it somewhere for free evaluation without saying what I knew was wrong and they proved me right. The transmission was bad.! Booyah...that's what I thought...lying useless dealership.

Great company that's family owned. Defiantly a great place to go if you want to get a car. I recommend them for anyone who needs to build your credit an get a car. When they say they stand behind there cars they do mean it I got my car looked over at a tech at an Audi dealership an the things the guy listed they defiantly doubled checked and fixed. There is only 1 place I trust and go where I have no hassle and people are still old fashioned and treat You right the very 1st time. They understand how to take care of You. I also was referred and received 500 dollars of my purchase and the person who sent me received cash. They will work with you, just pay your note in advance when possible if your interest rate is high. Great customer service also!

I got a great deal on a good car. They were able to work with me on the down payment, and stayed late to get me into a car same-day. They weren't pushy at all; I knew what car I wanted after browsing their website, and they didn't try to sell me something else as I've experienced with other dealerships. Very satisfied.

I called on open business hours and no answer as if they were closed. I chatted with someone and they just got my info and said sales team would figure it out. Not once did I get an answer, or estimated time frame. And my credit score was ran for no reason. Scammers here I'd give no stars if it were possible
