Fact: It was missed by Serge on initial inspection. Fact: Damage was blamed on me at return of car, no impartial perspective, full blame laid on me. What's irresponsible is running a business where you don't have order in your paperwork or system, that's what allowed this situation to occur. This unorganisation put me in a position where your staff blamed me for damages which had nothing to do with me and if I wouldn't have spoken up I would have been charged. It was already mentioned that they will check how much repair would cost me. It was so stressful and upsetting to the level that I had to seek help from the police. I rented a car at Crazy Clark's car rentals in Eagle Farm, Brisbane for over 2 weeks in May. Simply put, little savings were not worth the stress I have experienced in the end. The issue with the company started, no surprise, when I returned the car. The same person – Serge who did the initial inspection with me and already had marked pre-existing damages on the car in his paperwork on the pickup date, started to claim that there was additional damage found during the final inspection – 2 small spots covered by household paint on the lower part of the front mudguard/ fender and the repair cost needs to be investigated and deducted from my bond. As no damage whatsoever was caused to the car by me and the additional damage wasn’t accidental but was clearly intentionally covered by someone, I rejected any accusations, reported the attempt to blame me for the damages to the Crazy Clark’s property to the police, requested the review of the previous rental inspections and finally I gave a call to the owner (Peter). 2 days later, after checking their paper records (no computerised records in 2023?), Peter advised that the damage was missed during the initial inspection by Serge as it was already recorded in their paper records from previous rentals and therefore the damage was pre-existing. Relieved by the confirmation of what I knew was a fact, my fight to receive the full bond started. I was bounced between the company and the bank for 2 weeks that it took to finally receive my full bond. I must say that Crazy Clarks is unorganised, caused me so much stress and I never received an apology from the owner or Serge. A simple apology would have done it. I will never use Crazy Clarks car rentals again; I travel to Brisbane regularly but will not allow myself to experience this stress again. To other customers I say be very careful with this company, take very detailed videos or pictures on pickup, they are friendly until they make a mistake and try to blame it on you. It could have been a genuine mistake but the way they went about it was far from professional. Avis, Europcar and Budget, my business goes to you. The massive headache and extra time spent on resolving this whole case is not worth the small saving. Never again!

Recommended by a work colleague. Overall experience was good. Staff were kind and booking process was fairly straightforward. However, I was stung with a $120 charge for a gash on the front driver side rim. (See photo) of the car that was hired. (White Toyota Corolla) Partially on me because I didn't take any photos of the car beforehand. This should be a reminder to all future customers to take photos regardless of the car hire service provider. The inspector did prompt me to take photos during our walk around but the focus was only on the body of the vehicle and all noticeable defects on the body were noted. I didn't look for gutter gash damage on initial inspection and cannot place where this damage may have occurred during the short time the car was under my care. (Rental was booked for 2 days) The blame was placed solely on me when I tried to plead my case with Serge because I didn't have a photo before the car was handed over to me and that it was one of the newer vehicles in their fleet. IMO - This was missed by me and the inspector that I accompanied during the initial inspection. This is my first experience with Crazy Clark's and besides the charge for the rim damage, the car hire experience was just like any other car hire I've booked in the past. Would I use them again? Based on this experience, no.

From our initial phone conversation with Liam to the Airport pick up by none other than the man himself (Peter) Who gave us a run down on some areas to check out for Real estate ,thanks Peter . The car an almost new Kia Rio much to my surprise (was expecting much less)was almost unmarked ,Liam's fantastic service to the point of saying ohh its a little dusty , I'll just go rinse it off for you and also helping to put our bags in ,all in all a very smooth operation and nothing was any trouble,we had the car for 9 days and it performed faultlessly and was very frugal in the petrol dept also . The return went as smoothly ,car inspected and good to go,shuttle driver (not Peter this time ) appears from nowhere and says are we ready to go with a big smile ,loads our luggage on board and off we go in a brand new Shuttle back to the airport drop off point . Amazing customer service. We had a last minute booking due to a family member passing away and us arriving into Brisbane to attend the funeral. We made the booking 4 days in advance and the variety and pricing of the cars was awesome. We hired a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander. It was awesome and just what we ordered. The team are so friendly. We thought it was a fluke when our shuttle collected us from my he airport and the guy driving was super nice but after dropping off the vehicle and being shuttled back I realised that every single staff member went above and beyond and are just so so so so polite! 1000% recommend and we will be using this company exclusively moving forward.

We recently hired a Kia Carnival (new model) for 5 days from Crazy Clark's and my family and I were very impressed with the service and price. The shuttle bus collected us from Brisbane airport promptly. The driver was friendly and very informative. The office staff were professional, helpful and had us on our way in no time. Upon return of the vehicle the entire transaction was completed without any issues and we were conveyed to the airport immediately. I highly recommend Crazy Clark's. They provide very reasonable priced modern car rentals and their conduct was both professional and friendly.

Our shuttle driver was fantastic & professional, I didn’t quite catch the name of the female receptionist that had checked me in and out but she was super professional very efficient and thorough. Think she had burgundy coloured hair & wears glasses who serviced us on the 2nd of september around 11-11:30am - Please extend our big thank you to her & our shuttle driver for making the process as smooth as they did. It is advisable to reconsider using this car rental shop. I rented a car from May 25th to June 14th, approximately three weeks, after arriving in Brisbane. The car was in good condition, and the rental period ended without any issues. However, during the return, they pointed out a scratch on the wheel. Since I didn't take any photos, I couldn't prove that the scratch was already there, and I had to pay a fine of $120. The basis for this $120 fine was also unclear, and they refused to accommodate my request. Personally, I would never use this car rental service again.

My first time renting a car in Brisbane. The associates at the counter were amazing! Teena, the lovely lady that looked after me made everything so easy and was very friendly and helpful. I also ended up getting a slight upgrade in car which was super awesome! The lot attendants when I got the car and when I returned it were so nice and I felt very comfortable. I’d definitely choose this car rental service when I’m back in Brisbane and I’ll make Crazy Clarks my first choice for car rentals going forward :) Loved the shuttle service too! Quick and friendly.

Not happy with car seat selection. I paid for a booster seat which they didn’t have. The attendant took me to the back room where they keep them and pieces of seats and pads were all over the show. There were no booster seats just car seats and they were dirty. I had to carry it to the car with two bags. No customer service at all. On returning the vehicle I realised I did not receive a terms and conditions booklet which everyone checking in the day of return did. Car was new and clean, but navigation and apple car play didn’t work.

Had originally hired a car elsewhere but had a delayed flight and on arrival in BNE found that hirer had locked up and gone home for the day without contact or leaving keys in a safe for us. Found our way to Crazy Clark's who had a car immediately available during the peak of school holidays, very affordable with excellent customer service. Crazy Clark's saved our holiday. The complimentary shuttle back to BNE airport at drop-off was a nice touch and made the return super convenient.

Great customer service from Peter and Deb. On returning the car I was told there was scratches on the wheel trim. After a few minutes, previous paperwork was found and the scratches were identified as existing damage. Maybe they could consider having a list of existing faults for the next customer, so there is no stressful period on return of the vehicle. I would use them again, but will definitely take more time examining the car before leaving the premises.

Absolutely incredible customer service. Catered to our every need, including flexible drop off and pick up times. We had booked to drop off for 11am but were able to drop off at 1.30pm with no extra charge. Courtesy ride to and from the airport but they very kindly dropped up to our cruise terminal instead of the airport. Staff are very lovely, friendly and welcoming. We are using their services again after our cruise because they’re that good!!

After my hire I got a personal call from the owner checking on my experience and imediately fixed a couple of minor mis-comunication issues. Great, professional service. I have been renting cars from here for the last 2 months. Every interaction with the staff has been polite, professional and friendly. They are always happy to help accommodate any requests. They encourage you to take a video of the car before taking it and inspect it with you to check for any damage. We have used a a couple of SUVs and a Suzuki swift and they were all brand new. Highly recommend this team.

We had an overnight stay before our cruise and found crazy clarks car rentals to be cheaper than getting transfers. They picked us up for free from the airport, service was outstanding, vehicle was excellent and upon bringing the vehicle back they dropped us free of charge to the cruise terminal. Easy quick checkin and checkout. Desk staff were quick and efficient. The owner was on hand at checkin and personally welcomed me! He also provided added value via a personal airport drop off; aiport is just 8 minutes away. The alternate is about $15 via taxi or Uber. Honestly great experience. Way better than waiting half an hour in line at the airport rental places, and costs half the price. Peter texted me easy pick up instruction, grabbed me in the shuttle, then into the car and on the road. Nice small business/family feel that aren't going to stuff you around.
