Andrew Rowley very recently carried out work at my home. He quoted for a new Firestone rubber roof fitting on an extension. When he said he had completed the work, I noticed that the trim on one side was not flush. I queried this, and he admitted he had put a flat baton under the rubber at that point. I asked him why? He responded by saying there had been a slightly tapered one in previously. He had lost the position of the tapered baton, so decided to put a step in! He said he would rectify straight away, and make it flush. This made us look at the roof more closely, and realised that there was no flashings installed! Where the flat roof meets the house. He had just siliconed it! I refused to pay him until the job was complete. He them came back saying that he had not quoted for the roof finishing! And if I wanted this doing, then he would quote for the rest of the work! Obviously we are flabbergasted, and appalled. Consequently we are taking further action.

I needed some roof repairs, repointing, and gutters/facias/soffits sorting out, but being new to the area I didn't know anyone trustworthy. I found Andy online, and he seemed to get good reviews on local Facebook groups. I got a quote from him which was very reasonable and he seemed to really know his stuff. I initially thought the facia boards would need replacing but Andy was honest and said the boards were in good condition and suggested cladding them instead. Another firm I got a quote off didn't even mention this, and quoted for replacing them in full. So Ended up saving a fair bit. Really pleased we ended up going with Andy, and I'd certainly wouldn't hesitate to use him again, but judging by the quality of his work I doubt we will need to for a long time.

Fantastic service! Completely outstanding! I have had a leak at the side of my velux window for quite a while, which has been dripping into my bedroom ceiling. I rang four different companies, who never got back to me, all except one, who wanted to charge a ridiculous amount of money to repair it, which I refused. Andy has carried out various roofing jobs for me over the years. This has included reseating and sealing ridge tiles, installing lead flashing to a dormer, fixing a leaking skylight, repairing and pointing a chimney stack, and most recently, fitting a new Firestone rubber roof. Recently finished a new roof, facias and guttering to an extremely high standard and we are very pleased with the job. We have recently had soffits fitted to our small gable end and can't recommend Andy enough. The work was done in a timely fashion to a very high standard and all rubbish removed leaving us with a tidy garden. We will certainly use him again if the need arises as in addition to the above he was very professional and friendly.

They got back to me really quick when I messaged, they came and looked at my roof and what I needed (ridge tile came loose) and gave me a quote which was very reasonable and booked me in, he even replaced a couple of other broken tiles for me!! My ridge tile had come off in the wind and were halfway down the roof, I called them they came out the next day and did a fantastic job evengrouted the ones next. I can realy recommend them. Also used them a few years ago to fix my chimney great job that's why I had them back.

Andy came out the day after storm eunice and removed a ridge tile which was in danger of falling onto a flat roof. 4 days later he returned bang on time and replaced and renewed the mortar along the ridge.Great job and much appreciated. Would recommend to anybody.Thanks
