Terrible communication & massively overquoted, would definitely not recommend. Our regular plumber fixed our shower problem (an 'airlock' issue) yesterday, but the tap stopped working again & our regular plumber was unable to attend (turned out to be the washer in fact this time). Our regular plumber took 15mins to address & fix the airlock yesterday. Andrew from Drain Blast quoted 5-7hrs & $1500 to address the issue if also an airlock issue- a massive difference to the 15mins yesterday! Andrew said someone would arrive by 3pm but no-one did. Highly disappointed to be waiting only to receive a text with the quote (after he spoke to our original plumber) just before 3pm when he'd already confirmed he was coming. Our original plumber confirmed he spoke with Andrew at 1pm, so not sure why 1.5hrs was taken to message his ridiculous quote. Significant time wasted initially with waiting for him to confirm someone could attend, then further time wasted waiting for his failed attendance. I would highly recommend looking for a good & honest plumber elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs. We had this guy out for a blocked pipe. He quoted the work and told us he'd let us know before doing any work that would exceed the quote. He spent an hour making a horrible mess, yelling and screaming, used our new bath towels to mop up filthy water (didn't actually clean up though - for real it looked like there was an exorcism in our bathroom). Then at the end he said "oh I forgot to tell you it will actually cost about twice what I said". Ended up being about $2k for an hours work. Absolute scam artist. The next day the pipe was blocked again too. Also, his invoice number was lower than the number of reviews he's got on google so he's obviously bought fake reviews. Just don't do it, even if you're desperate - you're gonna have more luck getting a plunger from Bunnings and trying yourself.

THE BEST! Contacted Andrew via online enquiry late Sunday evening as our main sewer line was blocked. He was at our place 8am Monday. Friendly, fast & professional service, Andrew quickly identified a broken sewer pipe. Andrew clearly explained the issue and recommended for me to contact City West Water as they may be responsible for repair costs depending exact location of broken pipe. As Andrew drove away he was already on the phone with City West Water to request an inspection, 45 min later CWW were onsite. With a repair estimate of $8-10k I was relieved when CWW confirmed damage & repair costs were their responsibility & they will return tomorrow to start repairs. For the cost of a small call out and inspection fee Andrew has saved us thousands. Highly recommended!

Don't be fooled by star ratings on Google. These guys are highly unprofessional. Came to my place to unblock the Sewer and end up having broken toilet. The guy promised to fix it and not picking my call or replying to messages. Their technical skills is also very poor. He was trying to get CCTV to the unblocked spot and couldn't reach and gave up after trying for 2-3 mins. Charged me for a video of few seconds with nothing visible. Made a mess in my toilet and didn't had courtesy to clean shoes before entering. Stay away. There are heaps other who must be better than these guys..so u say I got wrong business.. that's why you are not picking my phone. Btw my payment receipt attached showing your phone number and address

I called Drainblast Plumbing at 9.32am on 12 November as rain was dripping in to my bedroom. I specifically asked about charges and was told that there was a $75 call out fee, after which I would be given a quote. The plumber arrived about 40 minutes later. He got onto the roof and, without further communication, proceeded to clean out the gutters. The job took less than an hour. The plumber told me the charge would be $775 and ignored me when I questioned this. At 11.09am, he charged $775 to my credit card. The tax invoice provided to me is blank on where the work is to be described. While I am happy with the work he did, I am very upset about the lack of quote and what I consider to be a grossly inflated charge.

I rang Andrew about a blocked stormwater drain that was backing up and was going to start compromising a corner wall of my house. He gave me a a time of 10am the same morning...even rang to tell me he was running late by 10 minutes. I found Andrew to be very polite, friendly and knowledgeable, which is reassuring when you have a tradesperson on site. Some make excuses and inflate jobs and prices...but not Andrew. He was confident he was up to the task and had the equipment, experience & skills to get the job done. I have saved his details and would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend him to anyone. Andrew was rude Charged $980 for 2 hours work plus $200 travel !! Couldn’t even put the drain caps back on left them lying on the road… What absolute rubbish you had 4 guys there an complete lie would you like me to send you the CCV footage ? Andrew was the only person who attend the site. Essendon is 2 hours drive from Seymour another lie.. I did it for 10 years every day.. and it is 1 hour When I spoke to Andrew trying to assist him where the drains were I had my workshop foreman there and he also agreed he was rude …another lie Andrew did not at any time discuss the pricing another lie .

I booked to clear a blocked storm water drain .. He (Andrew) came more than 2 hours late. Didn't say he was running late until I texted to ask if he was coming. Didn't even apologise when he came. When job was completed I paid on the spot (credit card) and asked for a tax invoice .. he said he would email it afterwards in the evening. Nothing came. I sent numerous text messages in the days after to chase up. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Just BEWARE if you don't want to deal with any issues after the completion of the job.

What started with a slow flushing toilet ended up being a huge dig out of the sewer and replacement of a collapsed pipe. Andrew worked tirelessly to unblock the pipe, identified the collapse and was back with an excavator and team within 3 working days. He and his team had to dig nearly 2.5 meters down to find the blockage and would not give up until he did. He was transparent with the issues and quoting and completed the job fantastically. I would highly recommend Andrew for your drain and sewer issues.

I highly recommend the crew from Drain Blast Plumbing that we had attend Monday 21/2/22 to deal with a sewer blockage . We had numerous plumbers promise to attend but all were a no show. But Drainblast not only answered but was at my place in 45mins. I got an upfront quote rather than a per hour basis quote so I was sure what I was paying upfront. I contacted Andrew after being quoted a ridiculous figure from one of the ‘large drain unblocking specialists’. He was prompt, and when arrived explained that he could start the process of unblocking the drain, and during which time could determine what needed doing and the cost implication (rather than trying to sell the most expensive option off the bat). Had a very stubborn blockage that couldn’t be unblocked by different plumbers.. we then called Drain blast plumbing and the response was within the hour, AND drain blast was successful in unblocking our drain. Major blockage with all downstairs sinks and toilets suddenly gurgling up horrible grey water just before bath time for 3 beasts under 3yo. Hectic. Quick desperate Google and within 45mins Andrew was on site and an hour later the major blockage was resolved. Got us all back under control. Reasonable price for unblocking the storm water pipe. Andrew explained what was going on and was able to show us where the issue was and lay out all our options moving forwards. Great service. Good communication, arrived on time and did the job with no fuss. I had 2 blockages in stormwater - one complete block with water backing up and into the workshop. Did the whole job in just under an hour as previously estimated. Used a high powered water blaster that unblocked the pipes and at the same time blast away the debris.
