I've always heard good things about Dale Adam's till I took my car there. The wait time was incredibly long, it took 5 weeks to do 3 days of work. I do understand it is the busy season. But once my car was in I did expect to get what I paid for. What I got was wires laying on the engine block not tied up, wiring not plugged in.. Then waited for the wheel alignment the car was test drove with a wheel rubbing which put a dent in the inner fender lip, and upon further looking noticed it also bowed the fender out. The drop spindles were removed and the original spindles were put back in. The caliber was compressed to put the original bracket on and brake fluid was spill over the frame and was not cleaned up. That bubbled and and took the paint off the frame. I brought all this to Dale's attention weeks ago. Have not got a return call, or I'm sorry or anything. Not impressed with the attention to detail or the customer relations. Do not want to take the next step but it's looking like I might not have a choice. I would have hoped Dale would be a man and step up to the plate and even look at the car NOTHING! NOT IMPRESSED

I believe the following - I would say turning your dreams into a nightmare, which is my experience, 8 years and counting and still not a correctly finished Shelby 427 Cobra! In fact Dale Adams said under oath that he warn me not to buy a Shelby, this coming from the Canadian Shelby Mod Shop / Dealer, (which of course never happened), Dale this is your chance now, to warn everyone, as you said you warned me! Dale Adams also states he didn't sell me a Shelby 427 Cobra, Shelby American states they didn't sell me a Shelby 427 Cobra, Mr. Gary Patterson (President Shelby American) states they sold it through my dealer Dale Adams, so who sold me the car gentleman? Even funnier Dale Adams states, again under oath, he never discussed horse power for this car, I am sure everyone would believe that, "never" discussed horse power for a Shelby 427 Cobra and this coming from the Canadian Authorized Shelby Mod Shop / Dealer. There are so many more transgressions and problems! This is how Dale Adams treats his Shelby Customer!!!! Legal action against Dale Adams - Court of King's Bench of Alberta #2101-07720, 2201-09704

I had some major alignment issues causing my tires no small amount of grief over the last couple years. Every time I went to some place to try getting an alignment, they told me my car was too low OR the wheels were so out of alignment the machine wouldn't read properly. The car isn't slammed at all- just low. I expressed this concern over the phone and was told it was no problem- The couple times I needed to talk to them on the phone was a nice experience- and the price I was given over the phone (though he mentioned was ballpark) ended up being VERY close to what the final price was. They provided me with an alignment report that showed the before and after readings and I have to say the car drove totally different after. That's probably standard issue- but they also walked me through the report and what it meant... since I'm a bit of a car "newb." The experience was great from beginning to end and I'm looking forward to them helping me out with some tuning challenges in the near future.

If you're looking to test your vehicle's performance I highly recommend Dale Adams, really great people and tremendous service at a very reasonable price. I brought in my '04 Dodge Ram SRT-10 reg cab for a power run on the dyno, supercharged and running Petro-Can 94 octane it is putting down 587 HP and 634 lbft torque. I had to reschedule my first appointment on short notice due to the lousy weather we had in May, my truck is not safe to drive when the roads are cold & wet, the team at Dale Adams was very understanding and more than accommodating in getting me rescheduled. The day I came in everything went really smoothly, my truck went on the dyno when scheduled and I was able to hang out and listen to some shop talk with owners of some truly amazing vehicles.

BEST AUTOMATIVE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED. The folks at Dale Adams Automotive Specialists are awesome. I ordered a tire and wheel set for my vehicle and within a week, I was was in and out. Spoke with Jim on the phone and he said someone would get back to me the next day with a price which they did. They even beat the 'bigger' stores in pricing. Communication was smooth and effective. The folks at the shop offered to give me a ride to attend a 'significant life event' and even picked me up after my vehicle was done (this was when we had a huge snow dump). I stumbled across this shop by happenstance and I am so glad I did. 100% RECOMMEND. There is no reason, ZERO REASON why I wouldn't return back to them for my other automotive needs.

They provided a ride to my home after I dropped the vehicle off, and then provided a ride back to the shop when the work was completed. I am always able to speak directly with someone when I phone them for service, which I greatly appreciate. I feel that their prices are fair, and I am always pleased with their work. They keep me well-informed about the state of my vehicle, and they let me know if they notice something which will need to be addressed. They keep my vehicle well-maintained. I had my truck throw a code, rather then go to a dealership I wanted to get an idea of what was going on. The Technician who worked on (Jake) was great. He went above and beyond to diagnose and ensure he had all the details. After that he looked online and found an obscure bulletin from Ford. He took it upon himself to call Ford Canada and confirmed my truck fell under the bulletin and would be warrantied. He then scheduled it in for me at the local dealer. He went above and beyond my expectations. I will be bringing my vehicles here for future work needed. They were honest, fair priced and communicated throughout it all.

I brought my corvette into Dale Adams shop to replace the motor. The motor was working fine but was just tired. Dale made his recommendations and we decided to put in a 383 Stroker from Blueprint motors. The motor arrived promptly and was installed by Kyle who did a great job. Dale of course over looks the entire installation. I felt confident from the beginning that the job would be done professionally and it was. I now look forward to the follow-up work that will be done on keeping an eye on things as I break in the motor. These people have tons of experience and that was great. My old 77 corvette has a new life.

I purchased a little pro street truck and could never get it running right. Booked it in at Dale Adams, tried a few "quick fix" things that didn't help it and had to go deeper. Kept me informed all the way through the job, called me about any changes to scope of work, and at my request, sent me pictures and videos throughout the job. Specialty work is costly so I had written estimates with any changes and no surprises. The truck is so much fun now. Thanks Guys!

The Guys at Dale Adams Auto are really awesome! Phoned them 1st thing on a Mon. to ask if they would be able to inspect a car I was looking at buying ASAP and they were able to! They were very friendly, polite and took great time and care explaining everything! I would trust them with any vehicle they would service; I'm just sad that I live so far away it wouldn't be practical to take my new car to them for maintenance and repairs!

I was looking for an honest and well respected performance shop. Dale Adams was recommended to me. My mustang was recently serviced there. They know what they are doing at this shop. I sent a 68 Charger to Dale and his team to have the entire Drivetrain redone. Bored/stroked/balanced Motor. Stage 5 heads, dual EFI, custom air cleaner, 5 speed transmission, dual ceramic exhaust/with dumps, line lock, Perfectly measured and off set budnick wheels, matched with Michelin pilots, custom hood hinges, and Dakota guages... Overall, excellent customer service each and every single visit. They don't up sell you on parts that you don't really need when there is a economy version of the same said part. Plus, they provide the overall health of my vehicle. Which service is needed and which ones can be postponed until the next visit. I highly recommend this shop for all your vehicle needs.

I had contamination in my fuel tank. The Dale Adams team were professional from start to finish. The communication was excellent and the job was complete far quicker than anticipated. The facility is clean and the staff very pleasant. I got a discount too as an AMA/CAA member. I would defiantly recommend and return to this establishment.

They did a full AMA inspection on our new (used) vehicle, provided us with full diagnostics and suggestions for repairs and maintenance. Dale Adams is awesome. I brought my track car, a BOSS 302s in for a some for tuning and some maintenance before I hit the track this summer. 12 years ago I had a transmission rebuilt on a 68 Shelby GT500 of mine at Dale's shop. Nothing has changed in 12 years and Dale, Steve, Stephanie and the crew are just great to work with.

We always have a positive experience at Dale Adams. The staff are all experienced and professional. They work hard to keep their customers happy. They never pressure you to do more work than what is necessary and we find their turn around time on repairs to be quick. I don’t think there is a more reliable mechanic in Calgary.

Took a set of MGB HIF4 carbs in to be rebuilt. I supplied the SU rebuild kit. They charged me $600 to rebuild and they were assembled wrong. Mechanic put the throttle enrichment in 90°out so the carb was continually flooding back 2 cylinders. Finally fixed it myself . Horrible service and a complete waste of $600

Dale Adams Auto is absolutely the best. They always put together a comprehensive maintenance plan based on what is actually needed. They’ve never pushed work that wasn’t needed, unlike dealership service departments. After 15 years as a loyal customer I can’t imagine bringing my cars anywhere else.

Don't try to scam someone who knows their engines, they told me my vehicle had damage to the rockers and that I required a new engine, that was a blatant lie considering all of my rockers are fine, anyways just make sure to diagnose for yourself with these guys, other than that they do good work

I had brought my car in for oil change and to check allmy fluids to see what needed to be changed. My coolant and rear-end fluids were changed and they did a great job. Everyone was great to deal with and keep me informed of what needed to be done and when it was ready. I would recommend them.

Friendly. Got the job done. Although, at the end of the day when I went to pick up my car and was paying for the service, they mentioned one of my break lights was out. Sure wish they told me about it earlier in the day so I could get it fixed while it was in the shop!

Dale Adams cleared/corrected a check engine light on my car. At the same time they rebuilt the rear differential and installed new 3.73 gears. The differential now longer screams noisily. It is nice and quiet. Very nice work. Thank you. I like this shop.
