Dandenong IGA has become my go-to spot, and I've noticed a positive transformation since the change in ownership. Despite being smaller than some other grocery stores, it's clear that the new owners have worked hard to ensure that all the essentials are readily available. What I appreciate most is the friendly and helpful staff. Their customer service is top-notch, making every visit a pleasant experience. Whether it's a quick question or assistance finding a specific item, the staff at Dandenong IGA are always ready to lend a hand. Additionally, the presence of IGA Liquor attached simplifies the shopping experience, providing a one-stop destination for groceries and beverages. While the store may be smaller, it's evident that the focus is on providing a well-curated selection of products and a welcoming atmosphere. I find myself returning at least once a week, and each visit reinforces my positive impression of Dandenong IGA.

Nice clean courteous & cheap local prices. Handy if you can't get to Coles. Wide range of regular kitchen necessaries fresh fruit & veges bottle shop available Family run store..Was great to see this IGA open on Xmas day. Great service for the locals On ya guys good job. Good Handy store Great service Family owned & run Staff very courteous & friendly Service with a smile Is a pleasure shopping here rather than a tedious activity. Have changed their hours recently longer opening times during the week so good for that last second item for tea or evening purchase of that bottle of wine for your romantic dinner date..Recently having added the shop next door and expanded it out to include a lot more fresh fruit and veg. Much better choice than before and still a courteous friendly service every time you step through the door 5 stars...

Family owed and run, local people. Community based supermarket. Great service, good selection of varieties of essential needs, fresh produce, meats and deli items. Great bottle shop on-site, good variety of all alcohol at very reasonable prices. Good plant outdoor/ indoor and vegetable from seedlings.. varieties and accessories offered at awesome prices. Weekly discounts and home delivery offered within local kms.

The family that runs this IGA are so lovely. They are always welcoming and greet me with a smile. It's a lovely little community supermarket and very central, perfect for if you need a quick few things. The best part is the plant varieties out the front. They are super healthy and flourishing while being super cheap.

Once upon a time many years ago apart from the owner's son the staff were wonderful. They couldn't help their customers enough. Now days forget it the service is gone and the attitude of the staff is now the same as the son's shitful. Such a shame it was a great store I try not to shop there very much nowadays.

Been shopping there for many years and great staff and service. My only problem at the moment is the amount of people going in there without a mask on and not being asked to either leave or put one on. I realise they are there to spend money, but other peoples health is far more important.

Living close by, I regularly come to this IGA. A fantastic family own and operated business. Always friendly and helpful. Great variety for all the basic and everyday staple items. Pricing is a tad higher compared to the big supermarkets

DANDENONG IGA IT'S NOT THAT BAD THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE NOT VERY FRIENDLY, CARING AND THEY TREAT EVERYONE THAT SHOPS THERE LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE SOME THING AND NOT PAY FOR IT. NO SECURITY. ONLY SECURITY CAMERAS . I DON'T

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the prices are higher than coles. But in saying that, this store is a lot more convenient to get to than coles when I only need a few small items. Paying for the convenience I suppose.

Good range and excellent service beats Coles and Woolworths by miles. No endless ques, no self service rubbish and no BS reward cards rubbish. Great bottle shop prices. Support your local small businesses folks.
