We love Diamond Jims! I personally have been in this beautiful store many times for different reason, I started visiting Jim and his crew years ago. I have looked at watches, jewelry, have had rings sized and watches fixed. My fiance also purchased my engagement ring, when we walked in to look, Jim handed me a beautiful rose, which I felt was very thoughtful. Jim was so patient with us, took time to explain the different diamonds, settings and options we were looking at in our price range. He gave solid, honest advice on what was the best use of our budget. I love that he did not try to push a sale on us either. I am a sales professional myself, and I appreciate people who sell through care and education vs. making a buck. Jim really knows his gems, he looks to build actual relationships so he can serve you and your family years, and I am sure for generations. I know my jewelry referrals will go to diamond Jims! Lastly, there are so many nice personal touches at this store, we were offered a cold beverage and we were not rushed. When my fiance brought home my engagement ring and the "surprise": stunning, unique timepiece, both the ring and watch were packaged beautifully and then placed in a very high quality gift bag with beautiful high quality tissue paper. I felt like it came from a very high-end store and it really made me feel special. Thank you Diamond Jim and staff, you all are the best!!

I came to get a battery put into a watch and was told it would be around 175 dollars. I thought i had heard wrong and gasped when he repeated that number. i told the jeweler that i had gotten the same battery replaced a few years ago, 3, by them and paid around 15 bucks. he said that couldn't be and i told him i must be in his records because i had gotten 3 or 4 watches done at the same time. he looked it up and sure enough i paid about what i said. He shook his head and mumbled something about before covid and I asked for my watch back at which point he told me to be careful who replaced my battery because it was a Cartier and I just left. The more I thought about it the more it annoyed me. i called back and spoke to the manager. he told me that yes the price i was quoted was in fact correct and that i had probably gotten charged incorrectly the first time and wasn't that lucky for me? Sigh... Here's the funny part... it was a FAKE Cartier! Sooo.... I basically got swindled and someone thought they could charge me exorbitantly for a BATTERY for a FAKE Cartier. I will never go back and I will continue to tell this story. I lost all respect for this business. Too bad... I ended up across the street and got charged the appropriate amount for a watch battery. I'm very disappointed in Diamond Jims.

I took in my partner to get his brand new timepiece, not just sized to his wrist, but have the full functions of the piece explained in detail so that it's lifetime may be extended and appreciated. The PHD of jewelry resides here. This fine older man, knowing his true passion for the industry laid out and dazzled us with his tapestry of artisanal knowledge and experience. And although an age gap, and some social differences obviously present, he molded the entire experience to tailor fit our humor, his needs, and we were late on top if it all. He had no issue letting us know that we would be taken care of none the less. And I can say, to shop for jewelry is as easy as anything, but to behold the truth of the jeweler in his element is to meet the Doctor of Chrono. Come here to not bee sold jewelry, no, come here to be bought back into the experience time and time again. I will no longer do business with anyone other than these fine folks at this location. They are eternally my selection for all my needs. And the prices here.....I'd rather pay here and receive that save 5 dollars and wait a week. . immediate gratification, from some spectacular folks? Outstanding!!!!!

Excellent people, and excellent service. I came in today on a recommendation from a friend to sell a portion of the gold and jewelry I've saved up over the past few years, and I'm glad that I did. This is a professionally owned jewelry store, but it is also family owned and they make it a point to know and be very welcoming toward their customers. In addition to getting a better price than I was offered elsewhere, I was able to get a really nice sterling silver ring as a gift for my dad at half the price on Black Friday while selling the coins that I set aside to sell. Dora, James, and Roy did a great job today and I was really happy with everything they did. Dora was very sweet and showed me a great selection, and James was very kind and professional right when I walked in. I've been to a lot of jewelry stores, and this was a refreshing change. Whether you're looking to buy or sell fine jewelry, this is the place to go in the valley. Will definitely be back again. I rarely write reviews but could not resist to write one for these guys because they are simply phenomenal. Besides being extremely fun and pleasant to deal with, the people at Diamond Jim’s are top-notch pros! My favorite Breitling watch that I have never took of my wrist for almost 20 years sustained some serious water damage. I was devastated as this watch has really become a part of me. Not only did they address the damage, lubricated, and resealed the watch, they literary restored a well-served for 20 years watch to a brand-new condition! They kept me informed about the progress by calling, texting, and sending the pictures of various stages of the whole process and they completed the work in less then a week. I was very impressed to say the least. Peter and Sarkis you are awesome!!! I am happy that I stopped by and let you work on my watch. I took my wedding ring to Diamond Jim's a few days after I moved to AZ. I looked up jewelers in the area and found him on here. All the reviews were really good so i figured I would give him a chance. I told him I was super nervous about letting anyone work on my ring, the last time I had someone work on my ring the same prong broke days later and I have had bad luck numerous times with jewelers. He took the time and sat with me reassuring me that I was in good hands. He special ordered a new piece for my ring, so i got to take my ring home, he called me when the piece came in and I took it down to him, i got it back the next day. It is perfect and I love it. On top of that they have a discount for military which was really nice. Amazing work at a very reasonable price, they are definitely going to be my jeweler while I live in Phoenix, worth the drive from where I live. :)

I have worked with Diamond Jim's to create three custom pieces so far this year. I had a starting place for each piece (2 rings and a chain with tree of life pendant) however there was significant creativity required to complete each of the efforts. In each case I found Jim and his team to be very knowledgeable and capable of driving the creative process to a beautiful conclusion of wearable art. The thing I enjoy most about working with Diamond Jim is the co-creative process part of pulling an art concept together into a real piece of jewelry. Of course there is a full inventory of other fun jewelry to choose from "off the shelf" as well. I recommend Diamond Jim's without reservation ... for any/all of your jewelry needs. I highly recommend Diamond Jim’s Jewelers!! I came in for the first time recently for an estimate to repair my wedding ring (33 years and the jeweler from that long ago is no longer is business!). I was also looking for options to maybe upgrade (my husband was on board). The jewelers at Diamond Jim’s have decades of experience and took the time to show me several options and so many beautiful pieces they have in their store or can create! I ended up getting my original ring repaired which was expertly done. They offer very low deposit for layaway if you find a piece that you love! I just had a 100 year old heirloom diamond ring adjusted so I could wear it. Diamond Jim staff introduced me to this open and closing shank they could replace on the ring. I was amazed how wonderfully this worked on my ring given my ring finger knuckle was two sizes larger than where the ring should fit on my finger. What made this so easy to do was the excellent customer service I received at diamond Jim’s. I was welcomed with friendly smiles upon every visit. Diamond Jim and his staff answered all questions I had and helped me thru choices I needed to make with honest opinions, confidence and support. I had my mother’s 70 year old engagement ring setting which also had one of the 2 side diamonds chipped. I wanted to put in a colored stone in place of the main stone and replace the tiny diamond. I was shown a beautiful tanzanite that was perfect which is what I selected. The ring was promised within a week and when I picked it up it was absolutely beautiful! A lovely redo of my mother’s ring that I will treasure. The price was very reasonable and less than I would have expected. In addition they would not charge me for an assessment of another ring which I assumed needed to be appraised. Such honesty is rare these days. I would recommend Diamond Jim’s to anyone!!

Always friendly and always ready and able to accommodate you. Diamond Jim's is the only place you need in Phoenix for jewelery. Centrally located in a modest small mini strip mall off two main roads as well as close to the 51 fwy! I have gone to Diamond Jim's to have rings sized, watches fixed, a metal watch band resized....all done expertly, and all done quite quickly. I have also purchased jewelery and taken my clients there as well. Rings, pendants and diamonds of high quality. If they don't have it, they can make it, modify it or order it for you. They also have some vintage jewelery and watches for sale. Fabulous+ !

BEWARE!! Long story short, I took my Rolex in to be repaired. Jim picks it's up and says unfortunatly he can't repair this because ITS FAKE and they tend to break easily. Didn't check serial number or run any tests. He said it's fake because of the weight. Shocked, I went across the street to Burland Jewelry center where they authenticated my Rolex, checked the serial number, tested the diamonds and gold. Everything was legit. I am stunned by the arrogance of this jeweler. Very unprofessional and obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. He's lost my business indefinitely. Extremely rude .

I love Diamond Jim's! I went there to sell some jewelry and received a fair quote for what I was selling. He is very easy to work with and even took the time to explain how he calculated the total value of the pieces. It was so nice to have an HONEST conversation with a jeweler for once. I took my old watches into Diamond Jim's for repair and was amazed at the quality and speed of service. They were not only able to repair watches I thought were long gone, but also introduced me to FANTASTIC deals on watches. I am a fan of the Citizen Eco-Drive watches and I have bought several from Jim's at much less than retail. I continually get compliments on these watches from friends and, thanks to Jim's, my collection has grown! Be sure to check out the $5 watch tray! I have purchased many items from Diamond Jim's Jewelry, and every time I am blown away with the fair pricing and the quality of their jewelry. On top of that, their customer service rocks! I made an appointment yesterday to look at emerald cut diamonds, and when I arrived today, Elisa had a vast selection of diamonds and settings pulled for me to browse through. I took in a large ring and had them turn it into a pendant. They did a fantastic job. You can't tell it was ever a ring and the artistic way they designed and mounted the bail makes it look like it was originally designed that way. They have done work before for me and it is always perfectly done. I have sold old silver and jewelry to them as well and got a fair price. I live in Mesa but drive into Phoenix to have my jewelry repaired by Diamond Jim's. I highly recommend them.

I came in originally to pick up my wife’s Anniversary Ring today. Upon being greeted by Jim and Alissa we went ahead and took care of my transaction. I have been coming here for several years to buy and sell jewelry and Jim is always extremely friendly and takes his time to explain things and help me make the best decision and get the best value for my money. Diamond Jim really took the time to help me find the perfect replacement watch for my husband's Native American Silver watch band. He ordered a good watch that was still a reasonable price and it was delivered the same week I ordered it! Great customer service and very accommodating. Fairly priced. I was in a time crunch to get my ring resized in less than 2 days before my honeymoon. Other jewelers were not accommodating and told me it would be 1 week. These guys not only got my ring sized perfectly, but they did so under 6 hours to make sure I got it back with a day to spare in case they needed to make more adjustments. They went above and beyond my original request

Jim is so nice! He makes your visit personalized and you feel right at home. I came in to get some watch batteries replaced and was more than satisfied! I took my 3 watches to a place in the mall and they quoted me $39.99-$49.99 each and a day to get it done. At Jim’s I paid $10 each (for the battery and installation all together!) and they had all of them done in less than 15 minutes. I’ll definitely be back! Thanks guys!

I have had an amazing experience with all the staff at Diamond Jim's!! I Purchased a Heart shaped diamond engagement ring that Jim went personally to Belgium and Brought back to me. He also took the time to create a book of his journey to Belgium and the diamond selection process. The staff went above and beyond to help me to find the perfect ring for me.

I stopped in to have a watch battery replaced, after a bit of a wait was told it was not the battery and that I needed to have it cleaned, that would be $80-150.00 which I declined. Went to a jeweler across the street and had my watch battery replaced for $10.00 in less than 10 minutes! I did not have a positive experience and would not personally return.

She inspected and noticed 2 prongs worn out. I had them repair. They did a great job. And, I also picked up a pretty cool bracelet! I’m glad to support this local business.

James is an amazing individual. One of the biggest hearts I have ever met. He helped me with my purchase of a Cartier pen. This was a wonderful experience! I had lost the gem in my favorite ring. When my roommate magically found it, I took it to Diamond Jim's for repair. They reset the emerald, fixed the prongs and re-dipped for a very reasonable price. I got it back looking better than new! Would absolutely recommend!

Only a few places in the valley still do jewelry repairs on-site, this place is one of them! I work close by so I have been lucky enough to use Diamond Jim's! They are very nice and honest with what service they can realistically deliver. Definitely my pick for a Jewelry!
