A few days ago my Son and I came in to find a pants That i saw online. We are regular customers and as I talked to the cashier Cassandra she pointed and gave very unclear direction. When I was asking "Cassie" for more directions another associate Autumn approach us and said "I'd be more than happy to direct you" with a warm greeting smile. She made me feel more comfortable and I had trust in her by Autumn just being really confident. I showed her the pants I was looking for she walked us to the pants and even made conversation and was very joyful. Afterwards she helped me find my size and brought extras to the fitting for me then Autumn compliment me! and even suggested a shirt. So I took the offer, we found such a beautiful shirt for a very good price. when I was getting ready to leave she also help check me out because no cashier was on site! Autumn even told me and my son to have a nice day. I've never had such good service like this before and I want Autumn to be recognized for it. She was the only associate I saw besides the cashier Cassandra( who wasn't that much of help) I don't know where the other associates were, but I know Autumn has been doing such a great job just by my experience with her and definitely will be coming back!

I ordered a mattress from here and it was too soft for me, so I wanted to return it for a firmer one. Came in within the 48 hour return window and had to wait about 1.5 hours for a sales person and two different managers to figure out how to even process the return and order a new one. Then about another 45 minutes to find the product online that was on the showroom floor. Then, when we finally purchased the order, $700 later, they had placed the order for the wrong sized mattress. They told me that even though they cancelled the order immediately it would take 5-7 days for the money to return to my card. So I’m supposed to pay another $700 and be out $700 for a week... thankfully my bank was helpful enough to put the money on my card immediately. The actual sales person was very apologetic and kind but I will never order.. anything here again. It was very unprofessional and very disorganized. Please order mattresses elsewhere.

Today was a killer holiday sale. I took over an hour in the jewelry department looking at things. During that time, Alexis checked in with me 3 times, asking if I needed anything. Wow! Thank you. My friend & I looked at several items each & ended up making 4 separate purchases. Alexis was working very hard & fast for us, and what's so awesome about her is.... she kept her smile and never once showed any frustration the entire time. I am really impressed with her professionalism. Alexis, you are amazing & I appreciate your positive attitude & patience. I had an awesome shopping experience here and will recommend this location to everyone. Alexis is a ROCK STAR EMPLOYEE! THANK YOU for the A+ service.

Sorry to give them 3 stars, I tried to exchange my Christmas gift my son got me....the lady said to me that she needs to know how it was bought...I told her why would you need that if I just want store credit.....I felt she treated me as if though I did something wrong, and she was very rude I ended up calling another store and the person told me to tell her it's a 45 day exchange with no receipt...3 hours later...went back and a very young nice Hispanic clerk helped me I did tell the first lady that she should've been more informed....she also told me that she only been there 2 weeks!!! I said ok...you could've called a Manager! I've always liked shopping at JC PENNEY

I haven't shopped this location in decades. With their having sale after sale I have purchased a lot and probably have saved a small amount. I went to Superstion Springs, then Rio Salado and today E Cactus. Recently to Southern, Ray Rd and possibly another. The stock could have a deeper mix. I appreciate the difficulties retailers have been experiencing and trying to hire staff. The might consider compressing their stores. At this time I look at different parts of one of their locations and typically can only obtain a portion of what I came for.

Penney's has been around forever and unfortunately have closed the majority of their stores. This particular location is like no other. If you have been to Nordstroms or Neiman Marcus and have enjoyed the enhanced customer service, I believe this particular JC Penney's might even surpass those. As we walked through the store no less than four different associates from different departments greeted us and asked if we needed any help and asked us how we were. The managers should be commended.

SUPER nice staff! It is a bit strange to have a store not packed all the way full of items but was nicely displayed. You can find some things on sale now but not everything... It was wonderful to be back in part of a mall again! We need to support existing stores and mom-and-pops so that our children and their children will have places to actually see and touch and try things without waiting for it to come in a box. I like Amazon but we need brick and mortar, too

I ordered 2 mattresses back in July apparently the beds we purchased was out of stock but we got no notification about the order being canceled. Went in the store to reordered and again the canceled with out informing us! This is not exceptible! From the first order it should be delivered at the end of the month and it looks like we won't be getting them cuz we keep getting canceled and we never authorized! This in unexceptable! Never buying mattresses here again

Staff was busy stocking shelves and assisting customers. Loved the Happy Birthday hats for JC Penney day. I found d shoes on sale in my size which is rare. I have not been to a JCP in a long time. I wish it was the same like when I was growing up. It is a smaller version. My husband usually finds everything he needs there. One of the staff offered us a coupon at the check-up for a mystery discount. So kind to ask us since we are senior citizens.

Huge sales going on right now, I was able to get 2 pairs of jeans, 2 shorts, 2 purses, 1 wallet, a bathing suit, pajamas pants, and a pair of chucks for under $50. Theres always a coupon on their website, and they have so much on sale it would take all day to look through it all. The cashier we had, Mari, was very sweet, personable, and was quickly running two registers at the same time to accommodate how busy her line was.

My hair turned out amazing. I had my eyebrows waxed they look great. I had my roots done, brows done and my hair trimmed. It was my fault for not asking how much it would cost beforehand. My total was $175. I'm not complaining about the cost it was just a shock because the most I've paid there before was much less. So buyer beware. Make sure you know your cost beforehand. They do really great work there.

The elderly lady in the jewelry department is sooo SLOW! When you ask if they can get someone to provide assistance the employees ignore you! When you attempt to call to speak to a manager nobody answers the phone! We’ve been shopping here for years and the service is declining. I guess it’s time to take our business elsewhere, which sucks because it used to be a great place to shop.

I came here the day of my Birthday to get a perm, well this is what i got. No curls, just waves, the lady rolled it weird, i normally go under a dryer not this time, my shirt was soaking wet and there was no manager to handle the situation. I only get a perm once a year and it always looked beautiful and curly, well not this time!!! $90 for waves ☹☹☹ Never coming here again!!!

Only dropped into this store yesterday with my fiance for a quick help at the jewelry counter and just requested a ring size for fitting and it was quick painless easy going and a pleasure to assist. It was less than 10 mins and we where out and that was nice because of these times we are a bit more weary about things and the lady that helped us was wonderful, polite and kind.

I recently visited JCPenneys at Paradise Hills, AZ. I had a very productive shopping experience, and I especially want to thank Sharon at the checkout station who was so friendly and helpful. The criticism that clerks and sales persons seem to be getting because there are so few of them is not deserved, (ok, maybe some are), but definitely not Sharon. Thank you!!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. One young lady even brought a cart out for me to use. Especially, the young man Martin, in the jewelry dept. He helped me, not only getting me all of sale price discounts. I really appreciated that. I have been shopping at J. C. Penny since I was a kid. Glad to see that they are still open for business.

I would like to share that the jewelry clerk named Bryan was super nice. He helped me looking through jewelry and made me feel safe during these times of COVID. I hope he gets a raise for being so customer friendly and attentive. My husband and I had a great experience with him and hope to return to the store again.

JCPenney has some really nice brands. I love St John's Bay. Their t-shirts are fantastic (women's tees. I don't know anything about the men's). The staff are really helpful and the online pickup counter has great service. Quick and easy and if you don't like it you can return it right there which is awesome.

Went here to get family pictures. I've been going here since I was a kid with my mom and dad. Now I am taking my kid's. The photographer was great with my kids and I have one that is 2. She was awesome get my kids attention for the pictures. I also go to this store for clothes also. Love this store.

This location has really seen better times. They never have a full stock of men's big & tall. Go to the one in Glendale or Mesa. Both are much better stocked. However, the staff at Paradise Valley are always very nice. It's not their fault Penneys isn't fully stocking this location

I do shop in this store however I have left during sales due to the very long lines a the registers due to not enough employees working. The fitting rooms are never cleaned out when I've been there. I do like the prices of the clothing and for the most part, the employees are nice.

Needed to replace my MultiSak bag which I have had for many years and broke a strap. Saw they had them at J.C. Penny so I went there to compare the price to replace vs repair. They had an assortment and on sale! Price was awesome! Bought 3 different styles/sizes. Very happy

Had what I was looking for. The Christmas decorations were stunning. Cardboard One dimensional objects hanging by wire here and there just bring out the spirit. Thankfully no Christmas music because I never get tired of the 20 year old pop hits playing.

Associates are always friendly and are constantly greeting you throughout the store. The cleanliness is a hit or miss, but I can't and don't place complete blame on the staff. Never had a bad experience with the staff in the years of shopping there.

Cesar G of the Mens dept was very helpful. He went above and beyond. This was my 3rd JC Penney I went to to find 2 nice black dress shirts. I found them and Cesar G. Also helped me apply and get an additional 35% off. Great customer service!

The good news is that this (and Costco) are the only stores remaining open since the closure of the Paradise Valley Mall. No issues with parking! However, the inventory of products available seems to be dwindling, and staffing is almost nil.

Spoke with JC penny card services rep. Totally incompetent. Overseas reps did not understand my question what I was trying to ask them. I closed down my credit card with them. I do not recommend getting a credit card with JC Penney.

Found original Levi 501 Jeans and they were neat and organized. Ginny, the sales associate was awesome. Earlier we were st Macy's. Very messy and unorganized. Not much stock. JC Penney has the motts!

Went shopping to try to find some presents and the place is a ghost town now that the mall has been torn down. Looks old and dingy. Help was hard to find but very pleasant once we found someone.

Well oddly, it's the only store besides Costco that survived the demolition of the mall. But on the flip side there was plenty of parking! Same old JCPenney's inside. Had good Easter sales.
