Hi Trevor, I just want to say thank you. We have been to Dine Divine 15+ times now, mainly for breakfast but we have also done dinner and today brunch. Your breakfast, especially the eggs are the best I've ever had. I honesty wouldn't go anywhere else up in the Dandenongs for breakfast. 3 of us today had the chicken burger. Everyone commented on how well the chicken was cooked and how white it was. Plus the sauce was beautiful they say. The beer battered chips are fantastic and in the past, the sticky date pudding was to die for. We have never had a bad experience at Dine Divine so thank you.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday since we had our booking it was easy to get a spot for big group of ppl. There was seating outside as well, but considering cold weather we wouldn't have enjoyed. Inside it was spacious and well maintained, service was awesome nothing to complain, they didn't delay in taking orders or serving them. Food was okay for the price range, but it's the location and service which makes one to visit.

I am blown away by this restaurant, absolutely delicious food! This converted church had so much character & feels warm and cosy inside. Very friendly service by the staff. We started with the saganaki which was so soft and had a yum fig jam on the side. For mains I got the home made pasta & my husband got the lamb. The pasta was incredible and full of flavour and my husband loved the lamb, plus the portion sizes and big. Usually when portion sizes are big the quality slips, but this was not the case at all. We finished up with scones and raspberry jam with cream and sticky date pudding which was soooo yummy. I can’t wait to visit here again, it’s a hidden gem and the food was perfection. Will be recommending to everyone I know!

A really good restaurant in an old church on the outskirts of town. Bookings essential on nice days as many people head up into the hills for a day out. Parking available, but the driveway is steep. The dips to share was really nice, although more bread/biscuits could have been supplied. The mains were delicious. The schnitzel was well cooked & a good size with plenty of chips & salad. The pork belly burger was fantastic & a pleasure to eat. Service was good, but seemed to be short staffed. Host was pleasent and efficient when making a booking. Highly recommend a visit if your up in the hills for the day.

Being the owner of a car rental company,I'm always on the look out for places to recommend. Some of my customers raved about this restaurant in the Dandenong ranges, So I went and checked it out for my self.Well ,the place is beautifully renovated, without losing the appeal and charm that it was once a church. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful and the place even has a little shop out the back with local products. We have been back numerous times with the same conclusion each time.So this place is a perfect destination for lunch or dinner for any one to top off a weekend in the mountains. Definitely worth the drive, thank you to all the staff.

Kids loved their calamari and chips! For the adults, we ordered a Chicken Parma from the lunch menu and a Healthy Brunch from the light and health menu. Poached eggs were overcooked which the I had to ask the kitchen to remake as I absolute hate cooked eggs. The staff kindly took my meal back and remade the eggs for me. Just a note that if you are in a rush, maybe don’t consider here as it took forever for our meals to be served. Our kids finished their kids meal before we were served ours. Coffee was also not the greatest, our home espresso machine does better.

Really happy we discovered this dining place! My partner and I had the pork belly and the lamp rump and were both pleasantly surprised about the special flavour and great quality of the food. Portion sizes are incredibly generous. I couldn’t even fit in dessert after having “just” the mains. I like that they add a lot of sides to the standard meal which means you really don’t have to worry about any sides when placing the order (unless of cause you’re craving salad). The staff is lovely and attentive. At the end of the evening the owner even spend a lot of time - after is asking - outlining the history of that church. A completely wonderful dining experience! Thx again. We’ll be back

Today is our third visit to this heavenly place located in the hills of Olinda ( Dine and Divine). Food, service, courtesy of the owner and the staff is way beyond any rating or words. We observe them very carefully and feel so surprised that how he makes each and every customer feel so special. We also had a chance to meet the chef during our last visit, there is a melodious harmony among all the staff members. Over and above the food is delicious and very well presented. We feel overwhelmed sharing this experience. We highly recommend this place. This is one of the best place we have ever visited on this planet. Thanks Vintage World Australia

At first glance, I wasnt sold. I mean, it almost didnt look open and there were lines at the other cafe's in which I've dined and didn't care to rate. Anywho, it was raining and we weren't going to be battling lines today, so Dine Divine it was to be.... And Holy Moly, the food and service was incredible. 3 serves of baked eggs, 2 plates of zucchini fritters, 2 latte's, 3 black teas and 5.5 happy diner's. Quite frankly, for how delicious the food and service was, I'm surprised it wasn't busier. Best breakfast in the ranges, hands down. Couldn't fault a thing. Don't go though. I don't want to battle a line to eat there next time .

We celebrated our Mum's 90th in the private room at the front of the building in April. Accommodated the 19 guests very comfortably. The high tea provided was beautifully presented, delicious and plentiful (we all took some home!) Drinks were provided on arrival and unlimited coffee and tea throughout our 3 hour stay. Trevor, Rita and staff were attentive and personable and helped make Mum's day very special. Having the private space allowed us to make speeches and sing a few songs without bothering the guests in the restaurant! Highly recommended.

Great food, great service! The owners are very friendly and you can see the care that’s put into the quality of the food and their service. Comfortable dining area. The scones are super delicious - airy and fluffy, probably the best scone in the area! We also ordered the pork and prawn paella croquettes which were absolutely delicious! The chicken parma and Guinness pot pie came in huge portion sizes and they both tasted great too. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. We ordered some scones for takeaway and they actually gave us a double portion because it’s almost closing time. We’re so thankful we found this place and we’ll definitely be back again!!
First time dining here - excellent! Very friendly, efficient and attentive service. Fast. Decent menu combining pub grub and brunch items. Nice! Pork burger was tasty and full of meat. The chicken parma was thick and beautifully seasoned - not too dense with crumbs or sauce. Chips are delightful! Lovely setting. Parking on site. Devonshire tea is superb! Choice of strawberry, mixed berries and another type of jam (eludes me now, sorry). Easy online booking process with a prompt reply. Definitely go - we'll be back.

Went there for a Saturday lunch. The refurbished church, now restaurant is classy, warm and inviting. The view from the outdoor tables showcases the hills and surrounds. Beautiful inside and out. The meals were well priced and well prepared. Plated up with style. A varied menu and cooked to perfection. The staff are wonderful. Congratulations go to the people that train these young staff to be caring, attentive, polite and vibrant. This place is a must visit. You cannot ask for anything more. Sitting by the fire listening to Billie Holiday was the Cherry on top. Well done team!
Sunday lunchtime greeted with it is a 40 minute wait for food. Started with dessert then.. Lemon tart which was average, the pastry was too thick and tasteless. New York cheese cake, looked pretty but was hard to cut through... Staff apologise and said that they normally put it in the microwave... To soften it up.. So didn't charge. The lamb kebabs were good, some balsamic lemon dressing would have made the salad better. Chicken nuggets and chips for the children was fine. A bit pricey for what was on offer. The ambience is lovely, but we had to ask for knives and forks.
Choosing Dine Divine as our wedding reception venue was one of the best decisions we have made. Despite many Covid-related hurdles, Rita and Trevor put everything they had into making our night perfect. The venue was perfectly set up, the food was delicious (and hot!) and the wait staff were fantastic. Nobody went hungry and our guests had their drinks served to them at the table. Would highly recommend Dine Divine to anyone who wishes to host a homely, intimate and beautiful wedding reception or function.
We've had many wonderful lunches and dinners at Dine Divine. Great range of dishes on the menu and something for everyone in our family. The owners are charming people and their staff are equally lovely. They're a great weekend dinner option for visiting Sassafras, as not many places are open after 5pm in the area, but be aware that Dine Divine is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday... I think it's open for public holidays too? They've never let us down for delicious food and great service.
The food and atmosphere was amazing but it was the service that stood out. The owners and staff went above and beyond when an ambulance had to be called for my mother. They were very helpful and friendly from the start but went above and beyond when the incident occurred. Thank you so much and we will be back to check out your gift shop!

Wondering into the Dandenong Ranges and going hungry could always result in a happy ending if you decide to drop by this little beauty!! Being a chef myself I can appreciate the love put into every individual meal made for the guests as it were made just for them and No one is ever tasted the same! It's a must visit spot and the environment, people, staff are all wonderful! Gonna be going back next time I'm in the ranges!
DIVINE PANTRY: This review is for the pantry section of the restaurant . Trevor working there was very knowledgeable on the honey that they had on shelf and we left with 2! The “honey bush blend” is absolutely Devine! They have cute little Knick knacks around the story for the house/kitchen. It’s worth the stop for honey will now come back to purchase from here when we need more

Excellent location for a beautiful Mother's day lunch with the family. The service was super friendly and the food was ultra delicious! Hats off to both the Chef and the hosts Trevor and Rita! Amazing desserts hand made especially by Rita bravissima! This is only my second time and on both occasions the food and service were truly commendable. My family though has been here on more occasions and they love it!

The location deserve more stars but all the rest was horrible, I went there for a wedding and I did not eat anything, as I have chilli and spicy allergies, everything had pepper or other kinds of spices so I asked for something different they offer me a chicken Parma... Easy to pass this place because it's the first one on your left as you come into the small strip. Beautiful location with indoor and outdoor dining. Scones are delish. Fairly large portion sizes. Simple but delicious kids menu. Staff were excellent. You could tell they cared which is rare. Highly recommended!!!
Delicious food. Had the rump of lamb ($33) from the brunch menu - lamb beautifully cooked, portobello mushrooms were juicy and succulent, potato was divine! Room for improvement: Banana bread was dry - thankfully there was lemon curd and cream to go with it. The chocolate brownie dessert was rich and decadent.
Cannot recommend Divine Dine highly enough. Not only is the food delicious, the setting fantastic, they are the most beautiful people. My mother had a turn and they couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. The service is the best I’ve ever experienced. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back! More
Great restaurant, good food and emerg friendly service. We booked fairly last minute and they fitted us in. A good sized meal in a beautiful old church hall. All staff were helpful and looked happy. The acoustics of the building were particularly nice with good music and a soft general time. Well done.

Great food, generous portions with great staff. We had fish and chips, steak sandwich and kids meal chicken nuggets. For desert apple and berry crumble. Great value for money and beautiful setting in an old church. Would recommend and will go again for sure. Dessert was yum!!!

An absolute gem of a place in the Dandenong Ranges. The food, service and ambience cannot be faulted. Food is tasty reasonably priced and servings are generous. There are also plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. Coffee and
Comfort food in a club bistro style setting. The dining area surprisingly doesn't make great use of the former church space, so if you want to enjoy the stained glass windows and vaulted ceiling try to sit in the cafe/bar area.
