Was there for a gig featuring Skinny Adi Collective. Interesting set with some punchy drumming by Rhys, thrumming bass by Andrew and some super bursts of lead by Adi. The PA system leaves something to be desired. Very cheerful and helpful people behind the bar; thanks for a memorable evening. Cheers.

Having moved back to St Kilda about a year ago, The Dogs Bar has become a local. Great food, especially for the price, good drinks, lovely staff and great (free) live music. A small menu, but it's quality over quantity here. Definitely worth the visit.

Fantastic cajun offerings - shout out to Chris in the kitchen for hooking it up. Amazing corn riblets seasoned with chipotle and served with avocado/guacamole. Mac n cheese was also delicious. Appreciated Heaps Normal being offered at the bar as well!

A tale in two parts. Went for dinner prior to a show at the Palais. Main courses were out reasonably quickly and food wasi very nice... really tasty and well presented. Had some time up our sleeve so a few of us decided to have a dessert...

Been drinking and eating dinner here for years. It feels like your local pub with open windows, sitting outside in the sun drinking, listening to the music, drinking by yourself watching the world go by or with friends. I can not fault this

Sunday roast hit the mark! Sometimes you just miss a British/Irish style roast dinner on Sundays, and how happy are we that we have found one close to home that was sooo good! Great veg and awesome cauliflower cheese. Brilliant.

Dogs Bar is the cosy pub that every suburb needs. Good beer selection that is well priced, friendly staff and meals are well above average. I have the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce and loved it. Will be back again.

Good music, great vibe, good selection of wines and some nice beers on tap. The food is pretty good too. The curly fries are really worth it and the calamari isn't just fake rings, it's actual pieces of calamari.

Classic live pub in St Kilda, we went there two nights in a row and had a great time both nights. Plenty of character in the walls and in the crowd. Live cover bands, that do play original songs as well.

The band was great. Cosy atmosphere. The food was terrible. Gumbo was a bowl of soup and some rice. Found 3 or 4 bits of meat in there. 6 chicken wings are really 3 chicken wings cut in half and burnt.

Great joint for some live music, catching up with mates and a drink or two. Food menu is also a kicker with daily specials and all are neatly executed better than your average bar food in that region.

This is a great place. I came in during happy hour and got a pint for $9. I stayed for the live music, which was great. The food is really good and the staff are friendly. Would highly recommend!

I love the Dog's Bar! A warm and friendly place in the land of St Kilda. The owner certainly is a supporter of the Arts and it shows - always great paintings or photography on the walls.
