Don't go anywhere near this place!!!!!!! I dropped a screw into the air vent of my car. These guys were the closest hardware store so I dropped in looking for a pair of long nose pliers. I bought a pair and went out to my car which was parked at the back of the store. They weren't long enough so I went back in to the store and asked if I could swap them for a longer set - They said - NO.....these are used....... you have to buy another one!!!! What!!!! Really!!!! - I was gone for about 2 mins. OK would you mind lending me some??? NO.....Thats not how we do business. NICE work

I’ve only been here once, and it was close to closing tome on a Sunday and yet the gentleman serving me was SO helpful. I am pleased to see other reviews and hope locals will keep supporting smaller businesses like this one. The service and convenience makes up for the slightly higher (only slightly, and understandably) prices than, and trek to, Bunnings. That, and you walk in, get served immediately and don’t have to traverse aisles to find what you need and battle to find a person to hel. I’ll definitely go there again.

Great advice and service, I have been here many times. We need these kind of local hardware stores. I can recommend this store to any customer. Quick thought on the comment from James McCowan below: it doesn't matter for how long use have owned an item, if you used it and they can't sell it to another customer, they can't just take it back. Your review is unfair. Note: I have no relationship to this store, I'm just a reasonable customer.

Attended in a time of desperation on a public holiday when our toilet stopped working. The gentleman there could not have been more helpful, honest and truthful... enabling a quick repair. Highly recommended.... good to see old fashioned hardware stores and real service still exist.

I'm based on the Gold Coast and was having trouble finding a particular sized light globe locally. Checked online and Double Bay Hardware had a selection. Ordered online; was a simple process and I received my order in a couple of days. Brilliant!

Something doesn't sit right I ordered something online and some how my package got returned to them and no one knows why and it wasn't sent to the wrong address and shipped back cause he read out my address over the phone and it was the right one

Very helpful staff, just telling them what you are trying to do and they'll point you in the right direction. They have a huge range of stock only lose 1 star because something's can be a bit expensive. Been here many times for small items.

Great friendly service for a simple cotton dish mop, that no other major hardware chain stocks. May our small local hardware shop continue and not be swallowed up by big stores.

Staff are friendly and the shop is well stocked. Unfortunately the prices are expensive and the quality of the stock is low. I only use this place if I need something urgently

This is not a raven product. It’s a raven handle with a cheap, squeegee rubber put inside. It’s slides out and didn’t work for one single window.

Double Bay Hardware were prompt in my dealings with them via an online (eBay) order. The item was just as described. Fits perfectly.
