The entire library system is outdated. Requires you to have your physical card even though you have a digital copy, this is supposedly to verify that you are the card holder taking out the books but not once has anyone asked me what my details are when taking out a book with a physical card completely backwards logic as anyone can steal my card and take out books pretending to be me. But my digital version which requires my fingerprint is not acceptable. Use to love going to library but they have completely ruined it.

Although I wish the library had a larger selection of academic books, especially in STEM, this library will forever be part of fond memories for me. I wish it could be an academic beacon for Durbanville, but it needs a larger selection of books which are also more relevant and contemporary.

I measure a Library on the titles by Authors I haven't got in my own collection or have been able to find at another Library and I found quite a few I haven't read yet
