Wonderful selection of books and such a privilege that such services such as these are still available in the age of technology. Since taking out books my daughter's reading has improved beyond explanation. There has been such a change in our house overall. They allow you to take out 10 books per member and keep the books for 30days which is so much better because it really gives you a chance to enjoy your selection. If you can convince the somewhat snooty and stand-offish staff to help you; you will find that they have a wealth of knowledge and a love for books. So do not let their unfriendly demeanour put you off.

Tableview view library is located in an amazing spot just near Tableview shopping center near the gym and is also safe and amazing visit once a week it's also nice and quiet to finish up work or to study or just read. I prefer bringing my books home but can spend from one to many hours after the library also very pleasant librarians friendly and ready to assist thanks do visit if u have kids there is a program for the little ones so call in to find out

Always a pleasure to visit one of my favorite places!Helpful, friendly staff-all Covid protocols are in place.Thirty minutes allowed to browse.It looks like a lot of work to sanitise and shelve all those books returned by members! Neat and clean enviroment.Wheelchair friendly entrance and ample safe parking outside.

Very nice library with a separate section for kids. I absolutely love the Story telling class, which takes place every second week on Tuesday from 9:30am. Unfortunately, it was every week on Tuesday and Thursday, however, now the sessions are dramatically reduced....

Words cannot explain my disappointment. I feel that even one star is even a stretch. The staff were unfriendly unhelpful, rude and sassy. I would rather walk 40km in the hot sun back to my old library than go back there.

I have been a member of Table View library for the past 10 years, and I have only received effective service from the library staff. I have noticed that a number of new books have arrived recently.

I am relatively new in Capetown, and with covid I've only now discovered the library. What a joy, friendly people more than willing to show you where to find what you looking for. Thanks guys!

Since lockdown you canbtake books out for long periods. I take 7 books up to a month plus 2 Dvd. Always a pleasure to read its my holiday when I cant and my daydream edp in winter.

For its size, this is a great library. Helpful staff and a good selection of novels, dvds, magazines etc. Usage limit for internet PCs is 45 minutes.

Nice to see a Municipal service that still works well. Fast, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Good environment, all protocols and rules respected.

Nice and compact,staff is very friendly.there isnt many charging points should you need to bring your own device.Limited wifi access.
