Really nice little library. It’s very quiet and fairly well kept. There are fields and a little sitting area with benches outside. Great place to walk dogs and just be quiet for a while. The library itself is quite nice inside. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are nice little nooks to sit and read. Nice big kids area too.

The people who are working there are always so welcoming and friendly and know where everything is and they even check where you can find a book at a library if thus they do not have it at their place. Really love going there, it's way more quieter than the others and have a better variety than what the other library's have.

Always pleasant, the staff are always helpful and unintrusive, it just these "lockdown regulations" that are irritating, as one who needs spectacles to read which constantly mist up one is compelled to pull the mask down to be able to read and the security person hovers around like a hawk waiting to pounce.....

The only reason I'm not happy with this library is because my mother worked in the Brooklyn library with Gilbert many years ago and still has an outstanding book on her name. She passed away 12 years ago and they still won't allow me to

I haven't been to the Library for all the time that it was locked down by Covid. But I was a regular visitor before then.Fortunately we can go again. I enjoyed many hours of reading excellent books from a wide variety of authors.

I went there on Saturday 13th I got there 30min before they close and this guy working there was so rude ringing the ball shouting at me to get done telling me they wanna close they dnt have any way talking to people

Lovely library. Plenty of good books.... Staff are friendly and very efficient. Only started using the library 2 years ago... So sorry I never joined sooner. Reading is a privilege that everyone can be part of....

This is like a safe haven for anyone looking to explore the world within an enclosed building through reading. The staff members are courteous & there's access to internet so long as you are a registered member.

This is one of the best libraries in Cape Town. The selection is huge and the buildong is large with big windows whdrr you can sit and read in private.
