I love Dymocks, and was very happy when it first opened at Point Cook Shopping Centre. My problem, however, is the prices. They are very high. When the same books are available online for lower (often much lower) prices, how does it benefit Dymocks to keep customer costs so prohibitively high? It is upsetting to those of us who desperately want to support local business and who simply cannot afford to do so.

While I love books of all genres, my focus now is on books for entrepreneurs. This means business, personal development, and wealth creation. In all these areas, this Dymocks has a great selection of new releases and classics. It’s worth drawing special attention to the personal development section. It has many worthy classics I don’t tend to see in many bookshops any more.

I love dymocks and was absolutely thrilled by one being opened at Point Cook Shopping Centre. Store is easy to find and in a great location. Kam is exceptional with amazing customer service approach. Lovely staff. A bit slow in responding to emails but they are super efficient if you give them a call.

My daughter loves the wings of fire books and dymocks point cook went above and beyond to get her the remainder off the series and delivered them all with no extra charge. Thank you so much. You were always so polite and professional. We really appreciate it. Thank you.

I was there for a book, it was not available there i ask the store manager she told me they have to order it and it will cost 80$.. but the same book was on amazon at 38$. No offense with anyone she was polite just for the price i am rating 4 star.!

staff are always lovely and extremely helpful in ordering in certain books, renée in particular. such a cozy atmosphere, despite the fact that dymocks is a chain bookstore. always a great selection on show for a leisurely browse.

First experience is bit uncomfortable. Only one women was working and waiting time was so long on the que. even didn’t mention for long wait time. Not talking about book. Just for delivery customer is not really managed.

Always such a treat to visit this beautiful bookshop. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful and always has great book suggestions or even doing a special order to get a book in. One of my happy places!

The lady managing Dymocks on lockdown eve was ringing customers who had books in and waited till after closing so that I could pick up a book. What a fantastic customer service experience!!!

Great customer service but literally saw both books that were $32.99 at Dymocks for $12 at Kmart. Both were new books just released. Will be going to Kmart for books now …

Plenty of good books , sadly has a children's book by a person who claims to be of Aboriginal origin and is not and the book young dark emu should be in the fiction section .

Great to see a Dymocks in Point Cook! Well stocked store and well laid out. Also includes a selection of games and graphic novels. Great staff too!

The stuff has no joy to assist.. we always buy books to dymocks.. it need a lovely staff to assist or help the customers..
